Home from Home in Conwy

We’ve often called here over the years and it has always been of a very high standard. We are lucky enough to have had lunch here twice in the last 2 weeks and have been impressed both times. The food is always outstanding, and we’ve tried lots of different things from the menu. The service is always friendly and efficient and it’s not overpriced for what it is. The atmosphere is always welcoming, whether they are quiet or busy and nothing is too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone as we have never been let down by coming here.

We are quite frequent visitors, sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for coffee, sometimes for lunch. We are NEVER disappointed. The food is always excellent. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Four of us stopped for a late lunch at 2pm on a bright Saturday afternoon, choosing to sit outside, as we were cycling. The offer of the day was Burger and Beer, which we ordered 4 varieties of. The beef burgers were excellent, moist, cooked just right - great toasted sour dough bun, excellent relish and cheese adornments. The fries and accompanying salad were equally excellently prepared. The vegetarian and fish options likewise. Beer available was Peroni or Larger. The staff are 'home from home' friendly and accommodating, and excellent value for money. It's our 3rd stop at this well situated cosy little restaurant (which just gets better every time). Nothing to fault.

It never disappoints! Always excellent! We always look forward in visiting!

Another amazing Sunday Roast. Both my son and I chose the beef and it was amazing. Veg perfectly cooked and gravy was fantastic. Can’t wait for our next visit. All the staff are super helpful, chatty and fab xxx

We absolutely love visiting on our annual holiday. We visited 5 times over the course of a week - the food and service is amazing!! Emily took great care of us and was such a smiley, chatty server. Thank you!

Three in party booked last minute, all meals were done to perfection with nothing left on plates, service was impeccable along with a smile, seating was nice and spacious and all tables around us helped to give a really nice atmosphere, will look forward to visiting again.

Popped in today, Wednesday 24th July for a bite to eat with one of the beautiful ladies I support. She does struggle quite significantly with her mobility, but nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and we are always welcomed with a smile! Today I had the mini chicken Caesar salad for my lunch - I’d had it before and wondered if I’d raved on about it a little much! Absolutely NOT! It was amazing! Photos attached! Undoubtedly the best Sunday roast I have ever eaten,it was just perfect in every possible way.The rest of the family opted for different meals which were equally as good.They have obviously got a fantastic chef & kitchen staff & the serving staff were also brilliant.Definitely be back for Sunday roasts plus weekday light bites.

Went with family for our sisters 75th birthday. The food and service were fantastic , eight of us in our party and no-one had anything negative to say about any of the dishes. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Llandudno.

We went for my mums 75th birthday & the food was amazing… all 8 of us had something different & the food was truly amazing, fresh & plenty off it.. I would highly recommend Home from Home… the food & service was 10/10… thank you for a lovely evening

Nice little restaurant with ery quick and pleasant service. The kitchen staff knows its craft. We had the burger and were 100% satisfied. Delicious and large portions. Especially the chips were super tasty. Special thanks to Emily who told us where to go on Anglesey!

Another absolutely stunning lunch at this beautiful place! Once again warmly welcomed by the staff - all absolutely lovely, warm & welcoming! Today I had a brekkie for a change - oh boy! What a feast? The ingredients used are top draw, local butchers sausages, Heinz beans, you name it! Even a choice of toast or fried bread! This is our weekly lunch date now, Thank you all again!

Fantastic food as usual and this was on Mothering Sunday. Both my son and I had starters and mains which were so tasty. Katsu chicken for starters and salmon pate 🙌🙌 We then both had the beef and pork Roast dinner. All good was cooked perfectly and it was one of the best roasts we’ve ever had X

Whilst staying in Llandudno for the weekend, we made a point of eating here again. It is a real gem of a restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is fabulous. We went on a Sunday and had a turkey roast dinner. Lots of meat, all the trimmings, big roast potatoes and lovely fresh veg. My husband had a lovely fruit crumble for dessert which was a massive portion in a dish the size of a dinner plate! I opted for a liqueur coffee which was lush! Will definitely eat here again next time we are in Llandudno. Thoroughly recommend.

Great place to stop for coffee and drinks before a walk and food afterwards. Good variety of home cooked dishes and the fish and chips are legendary!

Just been to this little gem for lunch never been before,its a lovely place with very well mannered staff and always checking all is ok and clearing as they go i had creamy cheesey garlic mushrooms with crusty bread side salad and a bowl of home made chips and wow it was scrumptious i will deffo be back 100%

Visited this amazing Cafe/Restaurant on 15th November for a light lunch. Was warmly welcomed and shown to a nice table for two. The ambience was quiet and relaxing. I ordered a prawn sandwich which was served with a side salad. My friend ordered scrambled egg on toast. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had a pot of tea each to finish. A very enjoyable visit. We would definately return and recomend. Many Thanks.

First time trying out this little gem. The staff welcome we recieved when we arrived was very friendly, we were made to feel very welcome and had plenty of time to look through the huge choice of breakfast/brunch items... everything sounded appetising so took a while to choose.. I ended up chosing the club sandwich which was served with homemade coleslaw and a side of pringles, wow, on arrival it looked amazing so that was a good start, it was packed with filling and the bacon was of very good quality, it seemed like half a chicken was used too, no holding back on portion size, the homemade coleslaw was the best restaurant coleslaw I've had to date... My daughter chose the chicken, bacon barbecue panini which was also packed with filling, both of us had no room for anything else and left full to the brim.. we will definitely be returning to this one, don't tlet the price put you off at £11 for a club sandwich, you get what you pay for and this meal was well and truly worth it... thank me later 😋

Décor-wise it is more like a café than a restaurant, not particularly cosy. Ordered the fish and chips which were OK but definetely not worth the £17 charged. Main courses all seem overpriced for this type of establishment. The wine list is very poor and inappropriately expensive. The wine tasted very cheap.

Our group of 7 were looked after incredibly well, first setting us up outside so our dog could join us but then letting us move inside when the weather changed and the dog moved to the car. And then we had some delicious food and spot on service. Thank you so much!

Still just as lovely as when I used to come with my parents. Really tasty food (the Sunday roast was spot on... tasty beef, crispy roasties, fresh veg, and a perfect Yorkshire pudding). Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Glad to see this place is still going strong.

Amazing restaurant - classy dishes in an elegant environment, and the service was top-notch. We didn't make a reservation, and the hostess was very generous and found the 2 of us a table for 6! The halibut dish and the yorkshire pudding/roast were delicious, and the desserts hit the spot. Totally recommend!!

I loved the place. The name is spot on, it truly is like hood honest homely food but without the hassle of having to cook it and it actuslly tasting nice lol

What a gem of a restaurant. Taken here by friends for lunch. Family run very friendly staff and the food was amazing. The chef is brilliant. The veggie pasta was the best I have ever tasted and portion sizes were great. I had a starter and main and had no room for a sweet. Parking is easy just across the road. I recommend you book. If your in the Llandudno or Rhos on Sea area you must search this gem out. You won't be disappointed.

Was on holiday and wondered past this place on a Sunday afternoon. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We had the roast beef Sunday dinner. The beef was slightly over cooked. Prefer mine slightly pink, but it's all a preference I guess. Veg was divine still and value was what is expected from this type of restaurant.

Saturday 25th Feb. Amazing food choices, extremely polite and friendly young women serving. Older woman unwelcoming from when we walked in. She stood by till often looking at us which was off-putting as she didn't smile either : (. My partner noticed the same. Lovely experience apart from that.

Our party of three attended the restaurant for a mid-week early evening dinner. We were not dining from the Christmas menu. The food ( pan-fried chicken breast & gammon ) was very good and I can understand why this restaurant does have glowing reviews. However, for us, the food was unmatched by the table service which lacked finesse. The menu states "if you have a dietary restriction" please speak to your server. We asked for the 'fried egg' to be substituted for a 'poached egg' but was told no - the restaurant was too busy to facilitate this request. At the time of asking, the restaurant was less than 2/3 full. And even if the restaurant was busy, I am sure a trained chef could poach one egg with their hands tied behind their back. Conclusion - good food, mediocre service and not able to accommodate the most rudimentary of dietary requests even though this is suggested, if not stated, on the menu. I would not recommend this eatery.

Wife & Moi had the Xmas 2course tonite (£25 each excluding wine) 8/12/22 could've eaten better at Asda. Gents toilet is a joke. Steve & Sandra won't be back.

The outside didn't thrill me but it was beautiful inside, modern, clean and such lovely staff. The food was cooked to perfection. We will be there again very soon that's for sure.
