Signatures Restaurant in Conwy

We’ve been going to this restaurant for 10 years. The quality has never been anything but fantastic. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They are top rate at their jobs. The kitchen is open and it’s fascinating to watch the chefs at work, producing fabulous dishes with passion and skill. Great wine list. A special place.

We have been many times and it has always been a great experience. a special thanks to Simone. the dishes are prepared with care. wide choice of wines and I like the open kitchen!

Signatures Restaurant delivers a great Sunday roast experience. We popped in without reservation because we were nearby, the restaurant was full packed we almost didn’t get in. However, there were nice family that shared their table with two of us. So make sure to booked in advance. We started with the Mixed Seafood Risotto and Confit Bacon starters. The Mixed Seafood Risotto was perfectly cooked. The Confit Bacon was also really good, it offered a perfect balance of savoriness and sweetness, the meat also very tender. For the main course, we indulged in the Rump Cap of Beef and Slow Braised Welsh Lamb Shoulder. Both were really good, cooked to perfection with a succulent texture and bursting with robust flavors. Paired with a rich jus and accompanied by a medley of seasonal vegetables. Throughout our dining experience, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff who anticipated our needs and provided knowledgeable recommendations. The ambiance was cozy, a bit crowded but nothing to complain.

If I could have given 10 ⭐️ I would have! As always, amazing service (with smiles and conversation), fantastic food (delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful) and a terrific atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Worth every penny. Can't wait until my next birthday (treat from my daughter)..keep up the good work 🙌

Very surprising location, on the outskirts of Conwy by the bay. However, once I side it is very smart and welcoming and great team serving you. The menu for lunch had a good choice and it was very difficult to choose what to have. Such lovely, delicious-sounding dishes. And the food was really delicious. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and we all are everything on our plates. You feel like you have been somewhere special and very well looked after. Will definitely return 🤩

We had an amazing meal here today and would definitely recommend eating here if you are looking to eat food that feels like the person that made it cared about whether you enjoyed it or not. We were sat close to the kitchen so we were able to watch all of the food being plated which was fun. The quality of the food isn’t something you see often in North Wales and you should definitely give it a try.

Such a great experience! Loved every minute of it. Food great, atmosphere great, Drinks great...as well as the non alcoholic ones for the person driving (me). The food was suitable portions, well laid out, tasty, looked marvellous and was well received. The table and decorations were well thought out too. Not too loud (I like to talk) and comfortable. Well worth trying....we are going back!

Food is consistently fantastic, the staff are professional while also friendly and the setting is stylish and comfortable. I have visited several times over the last few years and every time the food has been delicious and the staff have been brilliant. I love the cocktail menu and separate bar area to enjoy pre-dinner. Visited for lunch on a rainy day. Front of house staff are excellent; friendly, immaculately presented and highly trained. We enjoyed pre-dinner cocktails at the bar which were well-made and presented. Also the restaurant has an extensive wine list. The food itself was well-presented and overall good with a few niggles: Two of our party ordered the pulled pork starters which we agreed were incredibly tasty but repeated on us for the remainder of the day. For main course I ordered the cod which was well presented and came with numerous tasty accompaniments. Sadly I found the cod itself to be overcooked, dry and rather bland. I expect it may have sat under the heat lamp for too long during plating. Chocolate brownie dessert was tasty but unremarkable. Certainly no wow factor but I did manage to eat it all. The worst part of the day was the noise in the restaurant. There was a large party with two young children. One of them was screaming and crying for hours, much to the annoyance of other diners. I understand there is not much the staff can do about this but the restaurant itself is very echoey like a canteen and this certainly didn't help. If I returned I would go in the evening when children would hopefully be tucked up in bed!

The food, the welcome, the ambience were all perfect. My ONLY observation ......... the background music was a little too loud and intrusive 😐

Lovely, really tasty foo. Served in a great environment. Service needs attention, though. Was greeted upon arrival and shown a seat to wait in the bar/reception area. Wasn't asked if we wanted drinks, so I went to the bar. However, it took a while as they were getting table orders ready. Had to ask for water on the table, and again, not asked if I wanted more drinks, so we had to ask instead. Bit of a wait between a starter and a main course. However. Value for money, and I'd go again

First time visiting Signatures, with my partner and two friends visiting from France. Had heard good things about the place, so thought the four of us were in for a great evening of fine dining - sadly not the case. We were initially seated on a big round table right next to the front door. We all felt a bit cold, so after ordering a few drinks, we asked to be moved to another vacant table. This request was met with a strange look by a senior member of staff - think his name was Aled or Alyn - who after a brief befuddled pause, agreed we could move tables. We took our own drinks over to the new table, which was a lot cosier and better placed with views of the kitchen. Unfortunately, none of the staff took away the glasses that were already on our new table, so I moved them all to the edge of the table. After about 15 minutes, still nobody though to remove these excess glasses. Eventually I asked the waitress to remove them. Three of us ordered from the specials menu and the other from the vegetarian menu. None of us were impressed with the food. My friend egg that was sat on top of my confit bacon was fully cooked, so no runny yolk. And my partner has the confit cod with fricassee mushrooms, this was very bland. When we'd finished we asked for the bill, which arrived on the table and only then did someone pick up our long empty bottle of wine, and had the audacity to ask if we'd like another, If only he'd asked us 30 minutes earlier. Overall the service was really not good at all. The best member of staff on the floor was a young girl with ponytail and glasses - thank you, great job! The food was not memorable in the slightest. For a restaurant that has had a few previous Michelin recommendations, albeit not in the last two years. They definitely need to pick up their socks, and make some major changes. We will definitely not be going back again.

Nous avons très bien mangé et très bien servi ! Les serveurs/serveuses étaient très souriants(es) et gentils(les)! Ambiance agréable, chaleureux et paisible (un peu trop bruyant). Le dessert italien était parfait ! On pourrait même l'améliorer en mettant un coulis fruit rouge ou passion sur la panacota ! Et il n'y a pas assez le goût du café sur le tiramisu (à mon goût). Sinon bravo, service impeccable et cuisine parfaite.

First time I've been there, and it was everything a lunch should be. Great food, lovely atmosphere, relaxing and not hurried by the staff. Top marks to you all.

Meat Perfect Presentation of everything perfect Rissotto was not what you would expect from rissotto so I would suggest change name to avoid expectations Fish prefect presentation but boiled like no crunchiness and dull taste without salt. I guess is good for health. Desserts perfect.

In my opinion the best place for a good meal in Conwy. Excellent food from an open kitchen and friendly staff.

So as it was our anniversary meal, I didn’t want to ruin the occasion by complaining plus my wife begged me not to start but on any other day I would rip your whole kitchen to shreds - Gordon Ramsay style!, but seriously this is an expensive lesson learnt in life for me! I don’t recommend this place at all unless you have so much money that it burns a hole in your pocket or you don’t really know your food or you fall for the predrinks scam, get tipsy and don’t care! Let’s start with the positives. Good location, nice decor and design, food presented well too, free bread and butter. Unfortunately that’s where the good ends. Firstly, when entering we were told to wait at bar area whilst our table is getting ready. However, the whole time the table we were seated to eventually was ready that whole time. We saw it right in front of us!!!, the purpose of making you wait in the bar area is so you spend more money buying pre-drinks before your meal. Waiter didn’t look impressed that we didn’t buy pre-drinks. Meal portions in comparison to the price is just daylight robbery. Duo of beef for £25…should be called “beef tic-tacs” as the size is just ludicrous and quite frankly made me very uncomfortable and upset. You get two 5cm pieces of picanha. Who the hell cuts that?? You got to be out of your mind to serve cut pieces of picanha. Then the beef rib was a joke, like a quarter of one rib on the plate!! What happened to the truffle in the mushrooms? I didn’t taste any! My wife’s steak was a good size to be fair and should be for £32, but not even seasoned with salt and pepper! Take it off your menu! You don’t know how to make steak - Tasted like it was just fried in oil and was soggy! I make better steak than you and over 100 people would agree a hundred times! Overall, steak was bland and tasteless! I’m not impressed and quite frankly I feel ripped off and insulted. In future I wouldn’t buy an onion from here, never mind a meal! Also gonna sleep hungry tonight on our anniversary, all thanks to you! Another place where the chef thinks he is a world class chef, and then you get served very mediocre food! I can bet I can make all that food in your restaurant to a much better level. And if you read this and feel insulted I’m glad because im just making you feel the way you made us feel!!! What a joke!

First time at Signatures Restaurant and our meal did not disappoint. Fabulous food, excellent wine, staff knowledgeable and friendly such a lovely setting. Just a shame that the weather was a tad mixed.

Wow. Signatures Restaurant made me realise that perhaps I have been too lenient at other locations. The flavour and presentation of the food is exemplary. The Lobster Bisgue served with a Ciabatta crisp, Crab Rillette, and butter poached prawn, was heaven. The atmosphere with a huge open kitchen manages to pull off a clever combination between social yet still feels intimate with its smokey design theme. Aled and the whole service team are the last cog in the total dining experience, professional, friendly and lovely. Thank you Signatures for making my birthday meal truly special.

Sat outside for a glass of wine whilst waiting for the electric car to charge. Lovely spot, but the fast chargers were really hit and miss. Great when they work but often not working.

Three of us enjoyed Sunday menu. Our daughter enjoyed cocktails. Food fabulous. Well presented. View meals being prepared in the kitchen. Staff very well presented. Happy to help. Spacious and with good atmosphere. Definitely be going again. We chose 2 courses. You can have three for £35. Or £28 for two.

If you want top food you need to try signatures, you can even see the chiefs preparing the good. Overall a top place to eat and have a drink.

After being diagnosed celiac several weeks ago I was dreading this meal out for my daughters 21st birthday and having to be fussy and question everything with the chef, but my goodness they were amazing! They bent over backwards to make sure I was happy and not left out, their gluten free bread was the best and they could adapt so many of their menu to suit! They made a fuss of everyone and my mum (aged 79) said it was the best meal she had had in her life! Staff were so attentive and warm, the atmosphere and food was amazing, the little personalised touches were so lovely. Thank you so so much for a fantastic evening and making my daughters birthday meal so special x

Excellent food and atmosphere to celebrate a family birthday.

We were really looking forward to this meal but sadly it was not up to our expectations. The staff were lovely very polite and helpful when we arrived, giving us time to enjoy pre dinner drinks, there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and did not feel rushed by the staff at all. It was the food unfortunately that was the let down. Pate.. not sure if it was homemade but looked out of a pack and the scallops were very over cooked as they were crispy… not what we expected. Thinking main course would be better but again disappointing.. a friend had chicken and she had no complaints.. however the duo of beef was extremely tough that much so was not eaten .. the side veg and mushrooms/sauce however was very tasty. Presentation was really good just a shame the food didn’t mirror this. We did not stay for desserts but they looked lovely. We made no complaints as we have put it down to experience.

I'm sorry to say the service wasn't too good and neither was the food, out of nine, three meals had to be sent back, I'm surprised they are up for an award but your mileage may vary.

Lovely attentive staff. A bit overpriced. Had the prawn starter and unfortuatley suffered later on in the evening and all night. Will probably not visit again.

What can I say? An amazing place for food. It was on point. Delicious. All the staff were awesome and very friendly. I wish we lived closer but hopefully we will be back one day.

Exactly what I like about good restaurants - delicious food that I wouldn't being able to cook myself and array of tastes. I took Wild Pigeon (10/10), Monkfish (8/10), Caste of Raspberry and Chocolate (10/10). Amazing and polite service. Will be coming again.

We went for a special lunch and weren't disappointed. In a lovely setting, I was able to park outside the restaurant. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The service wasn't rushed and the food was of a high standard. We have re booked it.

The food was exceptionally good. I haven't been to this restaurant for a number of years, I don't really know why. I will however be returning very soon.

I'm not one for 10/10 reviews.. but... a much deserved top mark visit Fresh, clean and tasty top quality food

This was the first time for me here. Several family members have been here previously and had positive comments about the food and service. The vegetarian options are on a separate menu, so ask for this when you enter the restaurant. Overall it was very nice indeed and the service was good. I look forward to the next visit.

Was taken for the first time by friends excellent service, and food was amazing. It isn't somewhere I would go often as it's a bit far out. But very satisfied with everything.😁

What’s gone wrong?, we were there on 4th nov lunch, for parent’s anniversary, dads favourite restaurant because of the food service and especially the wine selection. Never ever had a bad meal here ever, we had 3 pate’s and a pri pri prawn dish which were lovely, husband had gammon, which was so thick it was tuff, very poorly presented, plates where hot which is good, myself and mum had pork three ways which is normally fantastic, was underwhelmed, and my poor dad that had the stone bass, which sauce on side asked for, came with the strongest sauce poured all over, which he couldn’t eat, not to make too much of a fuss, asked them just to transfer on to a clean plate, but the sauce was way to strong for fish, and he didn’t enjoy. My parents went back this week and had just fish and chips, to hope it was a one off, unfortunately it was awful, I never write reviews normally, but this area needs good food like signatures, I don’t know if you have lost your main chef or was on holiday but need to rectify quickly we has a family must spend over 2/3000 a year with you and when I come with friends a lot lot more. Please get it back to how it should be, I know times are hard but they will get harder if the locals are disappointed. The staff are brilliant as usual, This year had my 60th there in august just for lunch it was lovely for 10. . Been, sept twice oct Twice all ok, November what’s gone wrong?

Excellent food quality and impressive vegetarian menu even on a Sunday! Dessert not as good as the other courses. Otherwise faultless.

Had a 70th birthday meal with the family. Food was piping hot and very well cooked/presented. Super tasty! We’ll definitely return.

Regular vistor with friends and family. Never disappoints, also regularly go to other restaurants, some with a far higher profile, eg. The Bull Beaumaris, Tyddyn LLan, Bryn Williams, all disappoint. But signatures is always fabulous

Lovely setting but the menu is dated and the Greek salad was very disappointing, mostly an iceberg lettuce. However my husband did enjoy his lamb and sticks toffee pudding.

Don't be fooled by the slightly out of the way location - this is a fine dining restaurant. The decor inside is very smart and the cocktails were will made and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the presentation of the main courses and desserts was faultless. So why only 4 stars? Well, if you are aiming for fine dining, with prices to match, everything has to reach that standard. For me, the bread was somewhat underwhelming, and let down the rest of the food. 4 stars is probably a bit harsh and I'd probably have given 4.5 stars if that was an option, but I had to round down or up and rounded down on this occasion. I would still certainly recommend this as a top place to eat in the Conwy area though.

Cannot describe just how amazing Signatures was, highly recommend it to anyone who visits the area. We arrived very early but were able to have a sit down and drink, they even gave us menus to look at and took our order while we were sat drinking. They took us to our table at our reservation time, immediately gave us bread and as soon as we were done cleared the table, moments later they brought our starters. The whole night continued like this, very attentive staff. The food was outstanding, we were lucky to sit near the kitchen and could see the team in there working very efficiently and producing stunning food. Would have happily paid considerably more for the standard of food and service, prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend and we will definitely return when next in the area.

Recommended by our Airbnb host, what a find. Food was superb, especially loved the scallops (better than Heston's 💯 %) Staff friendly but discreet. Happy to talk if you want. Watching the chefs all work together, made me realise how hard it is to run a kitchen let alone one that can work so well together.

Excellent if pricey restaurant, great food and service.

Visited here about a month or two ago. Lovely food that tasted excellent and was well presented. Unfortunately there was no venison left so we had double duck but it didn't matter much. Very nice atmosphere although the lights were flickering a little which was a little uncomfortable for myself but not much can be done about that. The staff were excellent and lovely to chat to. Great place to go for a nice evening out.

Came here for my birthday dinner and the food did not disappoint! We enjoyed everything from the starters to the dessert! The dishes were well presented and full of flavour. Will definitely be coming back again
