Kava Cafe in Conwy

Have been coming here with various family and friends now for several years, the food is always absolutely spot on with a comprehensive menu of British favourites and Mediterranean meals. The breakfast is the best in Llandudno with just the right amount of food and top quality ingredients. The food is always fresh, always hot and always delicious. They do a great cup of coffee and even though I’ve never been tempted the afternoon tea service looks incredible. The staff and owners are fantastic, well mannered, friendly and helpful. It does get busy though but they will always do their best to accommodate.

Brilliant little place. Food different and tremendous value for money. Staff polite and pleasing. Always visit while in Llandudno.

If you are looking for a great value cafe in Llandudno then this is the place. Have been visiting for over ten years and usual visit once a week. Always a warm welcome from Ken and his staff. Good value for money, great service and always consistent. What more could you want?

Searching for somewhere for a relatively light lunch after visiting arcades with the kids on Saturday afternoon.... found ourselves right outside Kava whilst searching TripAdvisor for a decent place locally... must have been fate!! Popped into a relatively busy restaurant but staff quickly cleared a free table and moved a chair to accommodate our party of 5. We all had something different but everything was delicious.. personally, I'd highly recommend the Turkish mezze and my husband said the Rainbow bowl was lovely too! All in for 5 people (with drinks) came to around £45 so great value too. If we were staying longer we'd definitely be back but will certainly remember this place if we are back in the area again!

Don't miss this place when in Llandudno. It gets busy for a reason! Beautiful place. Friendly, Efficient and proud (rightly so) owners and staff. We call here every visit to Llandudno since discovering. We love the menu choices. We often call back for Cake and a cuppa. All the food is home cooked and the cakes are the best you will find in Llandudno. I am hungry as I type! Look forward to our next visit! A lovley welcome and fresh cooked food, would like to try the lunch menu so a return visit is on the cards I guess, it may look small on the outside but it is roomy, clean and inviting, well worth a visit 😀

I booked for afternoon tea for myself and my friend Jane, when we arrived it was to find some very fine china tea cups and plates on the table, it was beautiful. When we were seated along came our afternoon tea, and it was lovely and plenty of it as well. we enjoyed ourselves so much that we are going back again. I would highly recommend Kava, simply because you get value for your money. was it expensive well compared to some places we have been to the answer is no.

My daughter is a picky eater but she loved their pasta, it made my five days holiday in Llandudno easier

My first ever visit to Kava was a recommendation from a mate at work who was always showing me pics of the food she had eaten at Kava. I decided to try it. I never ever go to the top of town so I would never have known this beautiful immaculately clean cafe exsisted. Its spacious inside which I love and the menu is a bit of me OMG love everything and I mean everything on it,for the 1st time ever I was stumped on my food choice(which never happens as I am so fussy) I opted for the welsh breakfast and it was so delicious & nicely presented. Probably the cleanest(if there is such a thing) breakfast I have eaten in ages. Loved it and with a coffee or tea included for £8.70 amazing value friendly staff super clean cafe spacious and amazing service from start to finish why wouldnt you eat in Kava.

I visited this café on my annual trip to Llandudno last weekend. I only wanted a quick snack so had: Coffee - hot and delicious Tuna mayo sandwich- soft fluffy bread with copious tasty luscious tuna mayo and colourful side salad. Bakewell tart - the best I’ve ever eaten. Homemade by the owners wife. It was outstanding. I wish I lived nearby.

Good fresh food at a reasonable price, very welcoming staff, very clean and dog friendly. Good variety of choices on the menu. Afternoon tea looked amazing and served on proper china too!

We both had the Welsh breakfast It was delicious (again) The sausages they use are delicious but everything on the plate was really nice 🙂

We had been given heads up that Kava was the place to go for afternoon tea. We booked up a table for the next day (essential to give 24 hours notice) and we were not disappointed. Sandwiches, scones and cakes were superb - all made in-house! Presentation was top notch too. Missus was well impressed with the classic bone china cups etc.

We had breakfast here last week and I would have given it a five star only for the bacon. Was far to over cooked. Would I return 100% great value at under £9 for a full English plus a pot of tea

We visited here for breakfast a couple of times during a recent stay in Llandudno. I had cheese on toast and my husband had the continental breakfast, another day he went for the Turkish breakfast. Top quality delicious food and nicely presented. The owner was lovely and friendly too!

My first visit to Kava and cannot praise it enough. A lovely young lady greeted me warmly with a genuine, beaming smile. Someone had posted a picture of the menu as part of their pictures so I had quickly decided what to order. I chose Avocado Smash with Salmon and a coffee with Oat Milk. Pic attached. Food came quickly and again was served with a smile. I couldn't eat it quick enough. A wonderful, small, independent business with staff that are happy to be there and fabulous food. Couldn't ask for more, thank you and keep up the good work.

This cafe is clean. The staff are very friendly. The meals are fantastic. And the price is very good. We have been calling at this cafe for over 7 years and in all that time have never had any meals which we needed to complain about to be able to make hundreds of breakfast and not get any wrong is a testament to the quality of the food and service. The coffee is also very nice.

Just had a few days in Llandudno. Couldn't wait to return to Kava for the cake and coffee on day one having only discovered this place on our last visit. Well worth the return! Day 2, breakfast which was beautiful. Day 3 Lunch Mezze...beautiful . All tasty, All freshly prepped and cooked. All beautifully presented by very friendly owners and other staff members. Can't wait to return! Owners are very proud of their place and so they should be. Your pride and passion shine through x Got to say, watching you all work , you are so efficient and friendly!. Our 1st visit to Kava & will definitely not be my last. Friendly owner & staff . Cafe was very clean & the Old Albert Traditional crockery made our afternoon tea feel extra special. The half brown /half white sandwiches were beautifully presented tied up like little parcels. They were fresh & the fillings tasty - Tuna, Ham & Cheese , Egg The scone was lovely & served with jam & cream & a fresh strawberry. Our 2 cakes were a lemon sponge & a Victoria sponge both lovely & home made. The cheesecake was delicious & was served in a small glass topped with fresh fruit .We had a very large pot of tea between two of us It was a lovely afternoon tea & I would order it again but maybe its a tad expensive at £18.99 per head? I would recommend it if you are happy to pay the price. There were other nice sounding dishes on their menu & their breakfasts get good reviews. Will look forward to going again soon !

A gem of a cafe in Llandudno. Spotlessly clean and super friendly service. The cakes are homemade and gorgeous! The meals are wonderful too. You won’t be disappointed

Absolutely lovely! I had spinach and feta omelette my husband had cheese, tomato and onion. Really lovely food. The place is spotless and the staff are so nice. Highly recommended.

We were staying in Llandudno for a week and this is best food we had all week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were amazed at how reasonable the bill was when it came. We can't wait to try more dishes from the menu. Will definitely be back here next time!

Nice breakfast especially omelette, you won’t regret to try here

If you’re fed up with traditional breakfast, try the omelette or Continental breakfast here. In addition to the lovely food, the service here is excellent too.

Very nice café / bistrot with great dishes and fantastic cake. I had the Avocado Smash Brunch, iced coffee and lemon cake and it was amazing. Prices are very fair.

Fantastic small place on the highstreet. As soon as you walk in atmosphere is spot on to relax. Drinks were good and food was sublime! I cannot rave about this place enough. I will certainly be back the next time I am in the Area! Great for kids too my son had a humble ham and cheese toasty. The ham was seriously high quality. He said it was the best he ever had. Our food was fantastic we had the Turkish mezze platter and a rainbow bowl. Both absolutely spot on. Daily specials on as well. We found prices very reasonable as well. 100% must try!

Friendly staff. Good veggie breakfast. Not a large portion but still quite filling. Mushrooms could have done with a little more cooking. Veggie sausages yummy. Freshly cooked.

Ok'ish but not enough for a reurn As this is a treat due to costs all are experiencing cafes need to step up to get return customers, as £9.00 is a lot for a breakfast, other cafe very close by are more competitive in the cist and what you get for your money along with good loacl products and taste.

This must be the best afternoon tea I have ever had! I loved the way the sandwiches were parcelled and presented. The sponge and chocolate cake was to die for . The ‘doggy’ bag will extend the food heaven experience tonight! Well worth the calorie cost 😝 and great value for money.

Called in today on the back of a review in a newspaper with my 5 brothers & sisters for breakfast. Well are we glad we did! The service was impeccable, Warm friendly & welcoming. 6 Welsh breakfast perfectly cooked, hot and quality ingredients. The coffee in with the cost was again a perfect mug of quality coffee. Tea came in a teapot which is rare these days. The cafe was spotless and tastefully decorated. There was such a community buzz and feel in the air. Diolch Yn Fawr 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Lovely family run cafe, always a warm welcome and breakfast is superb. Good choices on menu for lunch and I've been reliably informed the afternoon tea is a must.

This is our regular cafe of choice among the many in Llandudno and for good reason. the food is consistently good and the service always excellent and friendly.

10 Star, we go to Llandudno 3 or 4 times a year just to go for lunch to Kava and it NEVER disappoints. Excellent food and wonderful hosts!

Nice cafe, clean. Busy but fast service and good welcome. Seem to remember there being more Mediterranean dishes at a previous visit but I had the Meze and really enjoyed it. Wish there were more Mediterranean dishes but the choice is definitely good anyway. My partner enjoyed the Avocado, poached eggs on toast with pomegranate and roasted nuts.

Walked along by the many many cafes and restaurants in Llandudno and settled on this cafe which was empty. It was super, the owner engaging, nothing too much trouble, we had coffee which was so nice I had 2, some wine, soft drinks home made...

Had lunch in this restaurant and the omelettes me and my wife had were really lovely Very well cooked and good value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient and made us feel welcome
