What can only be described as a food experience. Small unique menu based on seasonal produce and locally sourced food, and all freshly made to order. Crab salad was simply presented with a delicious crème fraiche dressing and summer salad vegetables . The crab was almost 0 food miles sourced just a few minutes down the road from the Llyn peninsula coast. Golden chai latte was a real treat . We also tasted the lemon and elderflower cheesecake. The elderflower cordial made from locally foraged flowers light and delicate flavoured the dessert perfectly. Lovely atmosphere a little gem of a find well worth a visit

Staying at the Celtic Royal again we decided to treat ourselves! Slightly put off by seemingly expensive menu but the portions were amazing and food cooked to a really high standard. And then, the puddings! Amazing choice and absolutely delicious! We’ll be back - I hope!

Had a two night stay here over the weekend of the 6th Sept and what a wonderful little place it is. Emma and Menno were the most welcoming, friendly hosts and we immediately felt like this was a home from home, our room was very cosy and complete with home made Welsh cakes that went down a treat with a cup of tea after the long drive. The breakfasts were amazing and with the added twist of a Dutch breakfast option courtesy of Menno. The tea rooms are currently closed allowing for a lovely spacious breakfast room which is decorated with photos and keepsakes from all over the world. Emma gave us pointers on the local eateries and places to go and even filled up our water bottles for us when we went out on our hike. This is a fantastic base for walking with easy access to both the Rydd Ddu, and Snowdon Ranger paths up Snowdon as well as having several lakes and close by to the Nantile Ridge. Ty Mawr is currently up for sale which is a shame because we would definitely stay again. Thank you Emma and Menno for giving us a really lovely stay.

I found this place while looking on tripadvisor before going to Porthmadog. It's tucked in just off the main street, to the left, just passed the Post Office. A nice welcoming place, lovely decor. Clear price lists and all the fresh produce on display in front of you. I ordered egg salad sandwiches ( made to order while you wait ), and they were huge, very thick bread. Absolutely delicious. I even went back later for tea and cake to take away, the victoria sponge was amazing and was put in a small box ( not just chucked in a paper bag ). Staff were friendly and helpful, they were busy, but it was still a nice, calm environment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We were visiting Tywyn for a few days and had to leave our Airbnb by 10am. We decided to get breakfast before our 4 hour journey home. As we were walking our dog I saw a man that appeared to be local and asked him if he could recommend a place for breakfast, he recommended Cegin Fach. We went in and within a few minutes it was filled up with locals. We ordered & was greeted by a very friendly man and lady. We sat in the corner with our Border Collie. We ordered 2 Regular breakfasts with Americano coffees. The food was fresh and delicious. The coffee was great and the service was fast & friendly. If we lived closer this would be our regular cafe,
