Y Polyn

Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire, 30-45£
26/11/2019: Always love coming to this place! Really great food, laid back, friendly atmosphere and very attentive staff. They cater to vegans as well, without making me feel awkward or difficult and didn’t charge any more for my options.
19/11/2019: Lovely food, sooo delicious! Plenty to chose from off the evening set menu. Wine was lovely. Atmosphere and service were spot on. The warm homemade bread was lovely!! No issues and we will definitely be returning.

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
17/11/2019: We came here a few days after the restaurants reopening and had a thoroughly great evening.
14/10/2019: Absolutely beautiful meal with top quality ingredients and fabulous service! Waitresses were very attentive and the actual restaurant itself is really lovely, small and intimate, will definitely be making a return visit!

Blas at Fronlas

Newport, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
04/12/2019: A lovely cafe with warm friendly atmosphere and excellent food and service. We had quiche, salad and proper bread. Delicious. They also sell a few interesting deli items.
04/12/2019: Lunchtime visit, log burner lit, blankets available and crackin food. Spinach soup was my choice and it really was very tasty. My husband had scrambled eggs which were adorned with chives on delicious bread.

The Brewery Inn Cosheston

Lamphey, Pembrokeshire
01/12/2019: As always a fantastic welcome from the John & Steve,
23/11/2019: Went to The Brewery Inn during half term with our 3 great-granchildren, my and myself. The youngsters were treated to a really good lunchtime menu which they thoroughly enjoyed especially when John, the landlord, gave them jelly eyes (halloween) and jelly beans. My wife and I had a very good lunch too off their special lunchtime menu. Overall an excellent lunch, tremedous value, warm welcome and attentive service. So good we are back again for a Sunday Lunch on our wedding anniversary and a festive dinner later on in December. Can't wait!!! See you soon John & Steve, you are the perfect hosts (the Voice & Brenda)!!!

Amroth Arms Restuarant

Amroth, Pembrokeshire, <20£
30/11/2019: Visited the Amroth Arms pub on Friday evening for the first time and WOW what a great place. The atmosphere, food and service was amazing and we will definitely be back... Thank you for an excellent night we really enjoyed.
24/11/2019: On a wet November Wednesday evening the Amroth Arms is a warm haven of friendliness and good food. We had a mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes all were beautifully cooked and delicious.

Calon Cafe and Interiors

Carmarthen Town South, Carmarthenshire
03/12/2019: Normally I stick to the main area of shops in Carmarthen and don't stray an inch so I was very lucky to find myself the other side of the market hall where I spotted this enticing looking cafe. I decided to treat myself to breakfast and am VERY happy I did. I had a chai latte and avocado on sourdough with tomatoes/pesto/feta and some sneaky chillis which really lifted it up from your average avocado toast. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed and all the staff were polite and smiley. I can't wait until I'm in Carmarthen again to visit and try more on the menu, might even make a special trip out, breakfast certainly looked worthy of the drive.
02/12/2019: I visited Pethau Da with a colleague and it’s such a lovely way to spend an hour over lunch. Staff were amazing and couldn’t be more helpful especially with allergen advice and alternative suggestions. Really thoughtful and attentive staff who clearly value their customers and went out of the way to make sure our lunch was spot on. I read the recent review from an irate customer complaining of poor service and I couldn’t have had a more different experience. Everything was perfect and I really could not recommend this cafe more. The poor review from someone on August 9th really flummoxed me as our experiences couldn’t have been more different. As they say, the proof is in the pudding and I honestly cannot fault this gem of a cafe. Five stars no problem!

No 25 Bar and Cafe

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
28/11/2019: We visited twice for breakfast this week. Highly recommend this place. The breakfast was well worth it. It came piping hot and on hot plates. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly staff. Lovely and clean. We will definately be back. Not to be missed.
19/11/2019: How fortunate we decided to try a different coffee stop this morning.

The Nags Head

Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire
26/11/2019: Plenty of options for us but the Nags Head was recommended by the holiday house owners too so had to be done. Warm welcome for us and out mutt and the food was outstanding. Veggie option for my wife was amazing and the local lamb was cooked to perfection and probably one of the best roast dinners we have eaten out for quite some time. All the veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Staff were fantastic and so friendly. Top marks all round. Venue is very nice and welcoming.
22/11/2019: As a group of cooks and ‘foodies’ it’s very often that after eating out we say that we could have done better staying at home ....

The Shipwright Inn

Pembroke Dock: Central, Pembrokeshire
24/11/2019: Great Sunday lunch, 2 courses and a drink of £15, main meal was lovely and filling with a splendid dessert. Owner and staff were chatty, friendly and helpful. Will certainly visit again.
16/11/2019: Found this absolute gem thanks to Trip Advisor today.

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
04/12/2019: Excellent experience.. right from walking in the door and being greeted by staff, seated and drink order taken, was may be 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste...
04/12/2019: Visiting Saundersfoot for my birthday so back to the Mulberry. The a la carte menu is a good as ever with the 3 course menu incredible. I choose the Scallop followed by the Monkfish and baclava for dessert. It was all truly Michelin star standard. We all enjoyed it so much we went back for Sunday lunch, which is simply the best.

The Golden Lion

Newport, Pembrokeshire
04/12/2019: Traditional pub with a good selection of beer and the all important Barti Ddu Rum from Pembrokeshire. My husband had "the best black pudding scotch egg ever!" This was a starter, all the food was tasty and prepared to a high standard. We ate in the restaurant and in the bar (we ate there twice in November) and the service and food were excellent in both scenarios.
17/11/2019: Ate here on two occasions when we had a three day stay with our dog at the hotel next door, the food was amazing plus the range of drinks, the staff were brilliant and very friendly, massive thumbs up for being dog friendly in the bar area, but you will need to book and don't forget to tell them you have a four legged friend with you.

Caffe Vista

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
05/12/2019: Lovely staff, lovely coffee, great scone, great view. Would highly recommend, especially if in a small group as may struggle for 8+.
24/11/2019: I chose mackerel pate with side salad and toasred ciabiatti . it was well presented and just the right amount . for a light lunch. very popular with locals and visitors. music events are also put on here.

Coast Saundersfoot

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire
27/11/2019: Repeat visit for me and a first visit for my friend (for her birthday). The food was wonderful and the staff gave top class service. We had the lunch menu which was super value for money. The view here is a great start to a memorable visit but the quality of the food and the excellence of the staff are what really counts.
25/11/2019: cold winters night in November probably not the best time to visit this restaurant. You park in the beach casrpark. The restaurants decor is nice and modern but klaxcked atmosphere due to being one third full. No view being dark so looking at our refection in the glass. The menu had a choice of 4 starts and 4 mains most of which was fish. Tiny portions and bland main course (skate) left us still hungry.

The Kings Arms

St. Ishmael, Carmarthenshire
01/12/2019: Nice friendly pub which serves good quality food. Unusual menu which was tasty. Only thing was the noise from the ladies darts teams that were playing. Will visit again.
17/11/2019: Had a Saturday night meal in here whilst staying just down the road. Great local pub, great atmosphere and really good pub food!

Llandybie, Carmarthenshire
29/11/2019: We had a wonderful evening at Valan's quiz night, the second one we've been to. A really well organised evening, with lovely food and a great atmosphere.
27/10/2019: A little gem of a restaurant that you could easily miss.
