Fabulous food, best vegetarian food ever. Accommodation was excellent and Asian and Mike could not have been more helpful. We are definitely going to return. Ian and Janice.

Today for our End of year review we booked a space at Ash Farm. The warm welcome was only topped by the very open and light space that met us. A great place to meet, clean and fresh. Nothing could be too much trouble: fresh coffees and left to our conversations, surrounded by wonderful gardens and open fields. Lunch was exquisite, falafels, salads, daals, soups and poached eggs and ‘chorizo’ smash, all lovingly prepared by Sian, fresh lively flavours: really sublime food. This has been a worthwhile place to review, reflect on a good year, with space outside to refresh our heads. Would highly recommend for anyone wishing to develop creative collaborative team days.

Yummy veggie brunch, dog friendly and lovely staff and owner. surrounded by nice views and craft works in the shop. Had a nice iced mocha and the brunch had an Edamame bean smash instead of avocado with lots of flavours. it was much tastier than avocado.

The food here is top notch. Vegetarian with flair and flavour. We shared a Buddha Bowl and it gave me a total flashback to Greens in San Francisco from many years ago. ( Greens is still the top place in California by all accounts ). Sian is a brilliant and inventive chef and the service is excellent too.

I recently stayed at Ash Farm for 5 nights. The accommodation was cosy and clean. Sian and Mike were very welcoming. The food was amazing. As a vegetarian I often find food choices are limited. The food here is vegan, incredibly tasty with so much choice. Sian is a very talented cook with great attention to detail. I was attending a sewing retreat in their beautifully acquitted barn with the lovely Helen Rhiannon. To wake up to Alpacas roaming in the field outside your room, a tasty breakfast and lovely views was the most ideal break. I will definitely be visiting Ash Farm again.

Fantastic evening at Ash Farm. Have previously been during the day for drinks and cake. This visit was their first attempt at opening in the evening. Lovely atmosphere, great food and a great band. Sian and Mike are such a welcoming couple. Will definitely be back over the summer. Great place with great views! Vegan food to die for...and I'm not vegan/ vegetarian!!

Off the beacon track location but good parking facilities & lovely cafe set up with good choice of breakfast / lunches & snacks including daily specials. Tried the Victoria sponge which was superb & beautifully presented. Lovely coffee too. Great service & fabulous setting, Will definitely be back again.

During our stay at Grove of Narbeth, the highlight of the visit was the seven course taster experience at the Fernery. After being warmly welcomed by Luke, offered drinks, we were seated in the plush restaurant, and the delights followed. The dishes, the craftsmanship, the ingredients (the chef is obviously a genius), the enthusiasm from all the staff describing each dish, their sommelier Cathryn's expert choices and advice - was about as perfect as any taster experience we've enjoyed. Each course was presented beautifully, the choice of ingredients varied in a way that wasn't at all repetitive. The "Grove Vegetables" following fresh breads was immediately impactful with freshness and wonderful kale sauce with hints of seaweed. For "The Love of the Sea" with lobster on a tomato base again fresh, light and so tasty - as well as beautiful. And on it went with Sea Bass and a Beef dish to die for. Just outstanding presentation and flavours. As we moved towards dessert we were presented with “Farmesan” a cheese a hard Welsh cheese that resembels Parmesan - aged for over 3 years. They aerate the cheese with cocoa butter and serve with a pepper sorbet and black olive. Just wow. And to finish "Hedgerows", a delightful dessert so multi-layered it's hard to describe. The overall flavour seemed to present Christmas and carrot cake on a bed of meringue. What's not to love? In conclusion, probably the finest taster menu we've ever had (and we've had quite a few). Mostly because of the menu, ingredients, execution, presentation and, of course, taste. But also because of the team - from the maitre d, to the sommelier, to the procession of smiling, enthusiastic waiters. Simply superb. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This pub I know well for it's food, service & reputation. We recently visited since the new ownership has taken over, what has happened? It was like walking into a different pub ! Menu changes with none the favourites on there like the famous lamb shanks gone ! We expected some changes the food we had was ok the service was OK it put me off to see 3 waitresses chatting away on several occasions behind bar. The atmosphere has changed too maybe no attentive chat like when previous owners were there. Sometimes we have to look back at all the fabulous customer service that it had and wonder how they did it with great passion.

The fish was cooked to perfection, with a light, golden-brown batter that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside

We visited Charlie’s Restaurant for the very first time yesterday and it certainly didn’t disappoint. As soon as I walked in I felt instantly ‘at home’ .. the beautifully designed decor was not only a feast for the eyes but felt incredibly cosy too. With it being December it was dressed for the season, with two beautiful Christmas trees adding to the festive vibe. We had Sunday lunch .. my husband and grandson had the beef and I opted for the chicken. The ‘Molly Parkin’ parsnips were absolutely gorgeous and made the perfect accompaniment to our meals .. which were all absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this delightful little restaurant! Claire Goodchild
