We spotted this place on our research around things to do and see around St David's. We initially popped in for lunch and then a few days later popped back for breakfast. Food was locally sourced and was very nice - good sized portions, great service and lovely staff. We also wandered around the small gardens they have which was very nice and also purchased some gifts in the small shop. All in all a great little place, a bit off the beaten track but very much worthwhile.

I had a cheese scone with delicious cream cheese and pickle, it was amazing, had to stop hubby from diving into his carrot and coriander soup, served with a real fresh crusty roll. The gardens looked amazing even in the drizzle and even though the main flowering season had passed, the very well thought out planting was still giving lots to look at, why doesn't mine look as good now! Everything was well priced, food, plants and gifts. Prices certainly gave St David's a run for their money and the quality was superb. Great service and such a well thought out place/project, if you don't visit here you will be missing out on one the top spots in the area!! We're going back for afternoon tea before we leave for home 😍😍😍

Ok, you’re going to need to sit down while I tell you about the cheese scone - you think you know cheese scones? You know NOTHING unless you’ve had the cheese scone here. I suggest you stop what you’re doing, get in your car/on a train/on a plane and get down here for a cheese scone. You can thank me later. You’re welcome. Seriously though, this is a lovely little place, with tables set in the gardens and in the trees, and offering some fantastic food for a reasonable price. We visit every time we’re in the area, and we really look forward to going. I’d probably be bankrupt if I lived nearby… :-)

A lovely little gem of a place. Worth the drive out. We popped in for a cuppa, lovely staff. Went off for a drive and came back for lunch an hour or so later because it was so nice. We both had quiche with salad, coleslaw and chutney. Food was lovely, staff friendly. Then we decided to pick up some scones to take with us. They came packed with little tubs of cream cheese, chutney and knifes. We bought a slice of bara brith each to go, then realised we could buy a loaf so they were happy for us to swap for the whole cake. Very kind and accommodating and reasonably priced! Highly recommend. Thanks.

Lovely location and very pretty setting. The lady who served us was lovely. If the quality of the food matched up it would be 5/5. We ordered tapas which had olives, bread, tomatoes and olives, no meat and the bread wasn’t crusty. The quiche was very disappointing and what I would call soggy. The mozzarella panini was OK. Have a look at your menu and focus on the lovely vegetables and salads you are growing in your beautiful garden !

This is a difficult review to write, I would give the gardens five stars, as they are so beautiful and peaceful. Also, you can have your food in the gardens which I found to be a lovely touch. They have a nice selection of local arts and craft, which is always great to see.The cafe, however was a big disappointment for us. When we went to order (just tea and cake) we were abruptly told that we would have to wait as she still had lunch orders to do, there was no apology and we were then told we could leave if we wanted! Undeterred we kept with our order and went and sat in the garden; here we were told by some other visitors to get comfy as they had been waiting three quarters of an hour for a pot of tea and three slices of cake! We decided to leave as it was a scorching hot day and there were no umbrellas on the tables outside. We went to tell the lady not to worry about our order, her response was that she had sold the pieces of cake we had ordered anyway.I can fully understand that perhaps they were short staffed and it was a sunny day so lots of people had come out. But all the staff needed to do was be polite, reassuring and most importantly get the pots of tea out first and just keep topping them up whilst the food was being prepared; people won't mind waiting then.Even after this experience, I would return as the food that was being served looked very good.

What a little gem! Nestled in the middle of the Welsh countryside under a nearby gorse covered rocky outcrop you almost come across this tea room by chance. Offering a small but tempting and mouthwatering selection of light meals, cakes and scones, and a wide variety of teas and coffees {the menu for these reads like an exotic wine menu} the predominantly vegetarian dishes are made using simple and fresh ingredients, many of which are grown in the polytunnels in the grounds. Vegan and Gluten Free choices are available. With seating inside, or outside in the fresh country air it is a perfect stop, and you can pick up some beautiful plants to take home for your garden while you are here. Within the garden area there are several small nooks where you can take afternoon tea while enjoying the small garden and potager. A lovely spot for a light lunch or a refreshing cup of tea and slice of home made cake. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food which is good value for money too, under £10 for a lunch, hot drink and cake.

Had looked forward to returning here now it's open with new owners. The girl in the cafe could have given us a warmer welcome. Whilst choosing what to eat she sneezed into her hands then went to prepare the food. I didn't hear the tap running but hoped she had washed her hands. Disappointing quiche, salad only consisted of lettuce and tomatoes. Don't think we'll be returning; had hoped to bring our friends next time. Good variety of plants for sale in the garden and stunning setting.

A whold page of different teas to choose from and a whole page of coffees - this is surely what a cafe is all about! Really friendly staff who altered the food on the menu to suit our preferences. And amazing fresh tasty organic salad picked fresh just a couple of hours earlier from the polytunnels in the garden. Plenty of delicious cakes to choose from too. Really nice to be able to wander round the garden and see the salads in the polytunnels and herbs growing in colourful orderly rows amongst pretty areas of flowers and herbaceous borders. Definitely recommend a visit and will be back!

Stopped at this small cafe, having read a leaflet at the St. Davids tourist centre. There is a garden centre selling plants and vegetables, some of which are utilised in the adjoining cafe. We had an excellent and tasty vegetarian meal ( there are of course, ordinary meals as well). A delightful stop and we went there twice in the course of a weeks holiday in St Davids.

Just discovered this lovely little plant nursery and coffee shop. Worth a stop off if in the area- purchased some great plants as well as enjoying coffee and bara brith. Little shop where you can buy local meat and home grown salads

We cycled here and loved the choice of quality coffees and cakes. Try the barra brith, it’s wonderful. The owner is very responsive and cares a lot about the customers. Well worth a visit.

Oh I loved this place...it's just gorgeous. Great scones...Great coffee. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more attentive. Gardens just lovely and was thrilled to leave with a blue knautia! I've never seen a blue one! :0) Lots of lovely plants to buy and a cute little farm shop.

Tea shop, garden centre, produce for sale. Sounds like a run of the mill sort of place, but no, this place is a high quality cafe, with delicious vegetarian options, everything home made to a high standard, and served with salad picked from the garden that morning. They also sell fresh meat, and also bags of the salad leaves and home grown tomatoes, along with chutneys, jams etc. We bought the lamb kebabs, green leaves, tomatoes and chutneys and had an absolutely beautiful barbecue... Went back for sandwiches which were delicious with a really good cup of tea too. Great find and will be going back.

Out for bike ride and heading north from St David’s on NCR4. Just thinking it would be lovely to find a coffee stop and lo and behold the Perennial Gardens and Cafe appeared in front of me. Obviously the word has got around as their little car park was over-flowing. But the location is exquisite and well worth the journey on a single track road; much easier on a bike. A real paradise. But don’t tell too many people!

Just beautiful and romantic, couldn’t fault this restaurant, service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. The decor was original but with a modern twist. Would highly recommend this venue
