¡Increíble! Bien - hecho de lujo sin el snootiness. Patrick es absolutamente maravilloso y nos educó los estadounidenses en la tarde y cómo elegir nuestro té. La comida era divina y me sentí como una princesa sentada en sus hermosas sillas rosas (justo fuera de la sala de té) y me sentí tan bien - cuidado por Patrick y su equipo. Cuando me aloje aquí de nuevo, sin duda voy a reservar otro té de la tarde. Fue una experiencia tan lujosa y encantadora, y me encantó toda la comida - kudos al chef. ¡Muy recomendable! Llegó con la familia después de un largo día haciendo los lugares de interés de Londres. Mi esposa y el hijo mayor me convencieron y el niño de 7 años querían pescado tradicional n chips, así que caminamos 30 minutos adicionales fuera de los caminos trillados. Batter era ligero y crujiente. El propietario era muy amable y nos puso al día en la jota de la historia del destripador. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita si estás en el barrio

Had fish and chips from a few places on the coast. This is the only one that has good chips that have some browning, as opposed to the yellow mush that is served in other establishments.

Lovely room (snug but well designed and comfortable), excellent food and drink, friendly staff. Quiet, convenient and excellent value.

We arrived early with only one family seated. We were told all the tables in this room were booked but we could sit in back room. We were happy with that was served our dinner quickly. Then things went wrong after 20 mins waiting for the lady to come back as promised we decided to go home. The lady reacted badly told us she was busy with “walk ins” who incidentally were seated in the room she said was all booked. She was rather rude so we paid and left. Was it because my husband had smart shorts on or was it because we were tourists. Don’t know. The food was good so it was a shame.

Never give reviews, however my experience here is definitely worth one! Came here the other night; staff were welcoming and had a lovely menu. I had the beef & ale pie, which I can confidently say was the best pie I’ve ever had. The biscoff cheesecake was also amazing. First time coming here, and definitely won’t be the last!

Lunch was underwhelming. Despite only a few diners, service was slow. My £21 courgette tian looked good but lacked flavour, and other dishes were similarly disappointing. My mum’s scallops were gritty and not properly cleaned—she’s had stomach issues since. Plates weren’t warmed, which didn’t help. Overall, the food and service didn’t live up to the setting or the high prices. Also, no hand soap in the toilets—concerning for hygiene. We won't be returning.

Great food (very GF friendly), friendly service and the lovely music is an added bonus for a great way to end lunch

You may need a mortgage to eat here for a very average meal. I have one of their larger plates lunch specials. The only thing larger was the plate, food portions were small. I shall not be eating here again, much better value and food quality to be had elsewhere and locally!

I am not one to ususlly write a review but credit where credits due, what a fabulous little pub. My daughter is GF and I googled GF pubs near Plymouth. I found this one and we decided to drive out to it. The staff were most welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. Believe me I am extremely fussy with food and I could not fault this meal. My compliments to the Chef. We will most definitely be returning again very soon

We stopped for lunch nice selection of pasties and pastries. The coffee was excellent to. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The Sunday lunch was amazing and the best roast I have had. The staff were amazing and very helpful alway smiling nothing was an issue.

Fantastic food, great service, a hidden gem amongst the burger joints in GT Yarmouth, it was faultless. Highly recommend to others, don't bother eating anywhere else
