Beautiful freshly made food. Kids meals are fantastic, although my daughter ate my scone aswell as her meal as it was so good... Absolutely delicious and lovely ladies seving,we will be back. Thsnkyou.

Great place. Lots of ciders. Local ones if you fancy trying some new and some commercial ones too. Food is simple and hot. If you like eating in Michelin star restaurants then forget it! If you are a normal person looking for sensible priced beer and grub then you will love it!

Wonderful community pub. Friendly and helpful bar staff, wonderful Sunday roast, great real ale, lovely old pub in a charming village.

Fantastic, Food, amazing choice of small delicios plates that arrive in their own time, giving you more opportunity to drink from the vast selection of alcoholic delights. Great friendly service. Wonderful ambience inside and gobsmacking views from a sunny garden. Dog friendly, people friendly. Love it

Realmente no estoy seguro sobre cómo revisar este lugar. La noche empezó bastante bien. Nos mostraron a la sala de estar de arriba - caminamos a través de la cocina, un poco inusual, pero bien. retraso en estar sentado desde cuando reservamos unos 20 minutos. Pedido nuestra red y otra ronda de bebidas, que llegó con prontitud, precisión, y bien presentado. Parte de nuestro grupo pidió Tapas, de las que estaban absolutamente delirantes, en particular la berenjena con miel, las setas al ajo, y el cordero siendo el plato principal, platos muy sabrosos y decentes para las Tapas. El resto de nosotros pedimos pasta o pizza. La pizza que me dijeron era promedio y la vi. El ravioli de pasta de langosta era muy agradable, me dijeron. Tengo la Penne Carbonara. El penne no era casero, lardon bastante duro y masticable y estaba hecho con crema, pero la carbonara hecha correctamente no debería tener crema y honestamente no sabía mejor que una comida lista de £ 4 aunque el menú especificaba crema, así que tal vez no debería haberlo hecho? 3 de nosotros tenemos desiertos, todos encantadores, pero la camarera literalmente los tiró a la mesa! Supongo que estaba estresada después de un largo servicio del viernes. Revisión mixta, probablemente lo probaré de nuevo y conseguiré las tapas porque es local y a un precio razonable.

Went for an 80th birthday meal. We had the private dining room whichw as perfect. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. Highly recommend and hope to be back for the 90th!

Would definitely recommend to anyone. We had a wonderful time here for an anniversary dinner. The food was really good and we enjoyed that we were given time with each dish to finish it before moving on. As they're sharing plates, it was nice to not have several dishes at once. They had run out of the wine we wanted but we're suggested another bottle which was good. Service was great once it was underway, there were 2 large tables finishing as we arrived which took some time to complete.

Another fantastic meal at The Creek. Excellent service and superb food. Desserts to die for and gorgeous local G&T. Caroline and her team are so welcoming.

Lovely friendly, cosy & welcoming cafe. Food & service first class. Fabulous breakfast & tasty cream tea. The staff have a folder with the history of the area which they kindly gave us to look at.

A prebooked meal for 3 ladies. The pub was very quiet and we're shown to our reserved table. I ordered a vegetarian dish, brie, cranberry and walnut Wellington served with new potatoes and fresh veg. One friend had liver and bacon withe new potatoes and veg. The other friend had chicken breast with a wine sauce and the same vegs as us. Our meals were very nice and even managed a dessert. 2 of us had a cheese cake and I had Baileys bread and butter pudding with ice cream. All very delicious. We chatted a lot and weren't asked to leave although we were the last to leave, they were open until 11PM tonight.

My second time eating here and what a disappointment. The food looked great but lacked seasoning and flavour. They had a table of 13 in for lunch and the kitchen seemed unable to cope with the service as our food took ages and was not of a standard that you would expect at the price that they charge. The head waiter is full of chit chat when you arrive but when you complain about the quality of the food or the speed of service he simply dismisses you and is totally uninterested. The fish course was like warm and lacked flavour. They add 12.5% service to the bill for poor food and poor service. I was not convinced the first time I ate here but after the second time it will define the last time. Really disappointing all round.

Lovely traditional pub, that does great food, at decent prices and has such friendly staff. Toilets are super clean which is always fab.

Occasionally visit this country pub with great food as a convenient meeting point for family members from various directions. Booked lunch on Good Friday to find them short staffed and very busy. But a huge shout-out to the lady on duty who was serving drinks, taking table orders, running food and didn't stop smiling or apologising for any delays, even when we all ordered teas and coffees afterwards. Food was excellent and definitely recommend.
