The best restaurants in England

They are always at any of the Goodwood Events and they are superb. Best quality and super healthy always served with a smile. Always a highlight for us to visit when going to the Goodwood events.

Popping down to Eastbourne on two occasions recently to view property we stumbled up this marvellous unpretentious cafe in the Meads (not far from 2 Estate Agents!). The service was exemplary and the food by Tara, the owner, was superb. The americano coffees were excellent. I had 3 different cheeses, pickled onions, perfect salad for my cheese platter and ONLY £7.50. Every time from now on we will use this cafe!

Didn't actually pick this up via TripAdvisor but notice on Google maps after visit to Cathedral. Agree with others this is a lovely cafe with excellent coffee and cake. The cinnamon bun is excellent.

Really like this coffee Shop, a great cooked breakfast or lunch, with pukka bean to cup coffee. Had to resort to takeaway the last few weeks which is a shame but still get the same great service.

We had a brilliant week staying at the Lazy Mare for a mini honeymoon. It was exactly the kind of relaxed week we needed after a busy time. We have 4 children so being able to get away just the 2 of us was a real treat and the converted horse box was everything we didn't know we needed! Compact but perfectly designed and organised - we're still trying to work out how to use some of the ideas in our own, busy home! If we ever get the chance to have some time on our own again we'll definitely be back. Thanks to Bex & Steve for your hospitality. Lianne & Adam

The title says it all really :).... Had a lovely shisha and sharwama.. The service was great and attentive.

Almorzamos 🍱 aquí hoy y estaba delicioso pollo y brotes de frijoles rollos de arroz que sabía delicioso. El plato fuerte fue un Pho de pollo y ternera 🍜 que estaba fantástico lleno de un montón de hierbas y verduras frescas y un maravilloso caldo sabroso. La comida se lavó con té verde y menta 🍵 que era bueno. Todo pequeño gran hallazgo y con ganas de volver gracias chicos. . Vienes muy recomendable y un gran servicio gracias 🙏

We almost drove past after seeing the sign shortly before on the A59, but we were really glad we didn’t. The chai tea is made by a woman of Punjabi heritage and is freshly made & perfect. Sweet & aromatic. The menu is basically British but with a few Punjabi tastes thrown in and it’s worth giving them a try, although the British food is excellent as well. We sat in the rear garden in the sun & we could’ve stayed all afternoon.

Our cycling group of 15 called in for lunch on a Sunday. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and arrived swiftly with a smile. They even apologised for a non existent delay in getting the food to us.

Great sushi lovely atmosphere, me and my friends went to eat here before a night out and it was superb! They also offer a large range of cocktails which is great

Wine tasting with Alberto - such a great afternoon, he makes the experience really special. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines from his regions. Would highly recommend x Don’t be out off by the building x

What a find! A hidden gem. Really friendly and gorgeous pastries. This is our new 'must go' every time we visit Brighton. Keep up the good work
