Ethiopian restaurant. Excellent food and service. Fantastic value for money. Might be slightly off track for visitors to London but well worth the effort. 5-10 minutes walk from tube.

I've been coming here for a couple of years now, always try to visit when in London. A bit out-of the-way, but worth the trouble . Really great food, really great staff! And excellent value too.

Truly TRADITIONAL AUTHENTIC Natural and as home made as possible considering this is Streatham and not ETHIOPIA.....welcomed by a blessed family member with a huge smile and the warmth and energy of a Empress. A simple menu with all meals made individually and with only basic traditional ingredients. Just how I like it.no additives. Peaceful relaxing unique music, I must add to my music library. There is a no rush vibration, everything is tailored to suit the customer with interaction at a truly respectful courteous level. The food was simply delicious, flavours equally matched and you feel as if you were in Ethiopia itself. My words will never be able to describe the experience as much as your own visit to restaurant or order from JUST EAT APP. We took 2 trays each home for later eating. I HIGHLY recommend this as a place to order food from ( JUST EAT ) or visit the restaurant itself. I WILL be returning for more. This is Michelin standards. Thank you all ,

I had high hopes for this Japanese restaurant but left thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Danbury Bowl (£15), which was described as a special mix of pork, kimchi, and squid. Unfortunately, the dish was poorly executed: • The kimchi dominated the bowl but wasn’t spicy as expected – just overly vinegary. • The squid was rubbery and lacked any flavor. • There was barely any pork – just a few tiny pieces, which felt like an afterthought. • The plain rice was unseasoned, and mixing everything together didn’t improve the dish. To their credit, the gyoza and miso soup were good, but they couldn’t save the overall experience. Service was also subpar. The waiter struggled to communicate as they didn’t speak good English, making it hard to ask questions or make requests. Additionally, the staff was inattentive – I had to repeatedly flag someone down to take our order, clear the table, and bring the bill. To top it all off, I woke up the next day with a stomach ache and what I suspect was food poisoning.

The perfect dining destination! Fresh, bold flavors in every dish, accompanied by attentive service and a cozy, relaxed setting.
