Really enjoyable night where we cooked in 4 teams to create 4 courses. Staff were brilliant in explaining and hospitality. Had a really good evening and enjoyed the food we cooked. Thoroughly recommend this as a company team building event.

Aveqia is not a public restaurant nor is it a cookery school. It is a place where groups of friends or colleagues can book to cook a meal together under the guidance of an experienced chef. Once cooked you plate, serve and share the food. What you cook is pre-arranged with Aveqia, so is tailored to your preference whilst being very much "haute cuisine" Our leadership team arranged a very successful team building event here. Following a short reception with sparkling wine where we were split into 3 teams (one team to prepare and cook a course) we headed off to the kitchens. Each team had a chef to guide them through preparation and cooking. Quite a lot of the preparation was already done before we arrived. For example, the poussin for the main course was already part-boned and trimmed and split down the back-bone and the foie gras stuffing ready made in a bowl. Despite all the preparation and no requirement to wash up there was quite a bit of confusion as there we did not know what the steps were to get to the finished dish...and there certainly were many! I wish there had been time to get each group together to explain what dish we were cooking and what needed to be done in which order before even attempting the first task. Nevertheless, my group thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with everyone having a go and helping each other to get all the jobs done. When it was time to eat each group plated, served and cleared their own food to everyone before voting on the best course (in our case the starter) Unfortunately once the meal was over so was the evening. I think quite a few of us would have liked to have stayed on for coffee or a drink or two and a chat. That would have finished the evening perfectly

We did the cooking experience last Saturday and it was a huge success for a multi-national audience who found great delight in the co-creation of some fabulous tasting food.

Unique experience! 5/5 stars. If you always wanted to be part of the Master Chef tv show but you didn't have the chance, this is the place to feel somehow being a Master Chef for the night. Aveqia usually targets on big groups of friends and companies that would like to bond/engage their employees through the cooking experience. What is all about; You are split into groups and each group has a different cooking station to prepare a dish. You have 90 minutes to do so, while all the ingredients are offered to you and you have the valuable help of Michelin Chefs in place that guide you step by step on how to prepare your dish. You can be in the group that prepare the starter or the main or the dessert. As soon as all groups finsih preparing their dishes, you are all going to sit together and eat each group's dish. There is also wine matching with every dish. All dishes are just amazing; you will not believe your eyes that you have made such a great result through this whole process. Unique cooking experience, relaxed environment, drinks offered throughout the whole night and a lot of talking, laughing, having a good time with the other potential chefs like you!

I was invited to Aveqia on a corporate event and didn't really know what to expect. All I knew was that I was to supposed to cook my own dinner... And since I didn't really know any of the others I was a little apprehensive. But what can I say! I had the most amazing evening. We were greeted by the lovely hostesses and had an introductory talk with our chefs for the evening whilst drinking a glass of wine. We were then divided in to teams, each given one of the 4 courses to prepare. There was plenty of hands on preparation and cooking of dishes I don't think any of us would haver ever dreamt of being able to cook. The chefs were very patient and helpful! But we really did it all under their guidance. We must have spent a couple of hours all cooking together whilst drinking wine and chatting.. We then sat down together and sampled what we had all cooked. The food was divine - it was on par with what you would expect in any top class restaurant - and we had cooked it ourselves! I simply can't recommend Aveqia enough! A perfect venue for entertaining your clients or to go to together with a group of friends. I will definitely arrange another evening there again soon.

I was privileged to be a guest at a Christmas luncheon here and it was very different from any other restaurant experiences I had previously encountered. The staff were extremely attentive and courteous. The unisex pink toilets were a novelty. The open expansive kitchen with a large selection of Swedish dishes to sample was beautifully laid out with superb presentation. The ham, slow cooked for ten hours was mouth watering. The freshly baked bread was delicious, as was the cheese. I could go on, but recommend you try it for yourself.

This gastro pub is amazing, lovely athmosphere and really kind staff. Good quality and beautiful food presentation. The menu has something for everyone - traditional fare as well as something slightly outside of the norm. The selection of flavours are both inventive and successful.

There was no one at the Tent when I arrived. Espresso at £2 was expensive for the area (twice the price of 405). I sat outside in the sunshine which was nice but spoiled (not the Tents fault) as two women smoking sat down right beside me. The rest of the place was empty!
