The garlic bread was ok. The two mains were inedible and not eaten. We think the cream used on the risotto and carbonara was off. Absolutely tasteless and minging. Probably the worst meal we have had in a restaurant. Not a good way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Seriously wish we had gone elsewhere!!! Never again.

Estábamos deseando probar este restaurante, principalmente debido a su ubicación y vista a Bushy Park, y eso fue, de hecho, impresionante. Sin embargo, la comida era mediocre en el mejor de los casos. Los entrantes eran mucho más pequeños de lo que hubiéramos esperado (y no esperábamos que fueran del tamaño de un plato principal) y muy ordinarios, las pizzas estaban muy sobrecocinadas y la pasta estaba deslucida. Fue una actuación bastante triste. La joven que nos atendió fue absolutamente encantadora, pero la señora que se ocupó de nuestro pago parecía extrañamente defensiva. No volveremos - gastaremos nuestro dinero en otro lugar - y hay muchos, muchos mejores restaurantes en los alrededores.

Ive wanted to eat here for a while as we drive past weekly to the secondary school. We booked a table for our anniversary and it was our first time visiting here. We were greeted when we walked inside and seated straight away. Our food came to the table around 10 minutes after ordering which was fab. My partner had the bolognese and garlic bread and i chose a pizza with a side of homemade chips. All food was thoroughly enjoyed and reasonably priced. The young girl serving was professional and polite as was the man behind the bar (maybe the owner but unsure). I couldn’t fault anything, it’s beautifully decorated inside and has car parking to the rear of the building. We would definitely return here.

We had been recommended to try this restaurant, so we tried it. Our first indication that this might not have been a good choice was that no one ever came to our table to begin the service! Everything was on us, from ordering drinks, food, dessert menu or the check. We never received any water or were asked if we wanted anything. Now we did see a glimmer of hope from some of the staff, but one waitress seemed like she would rather be somewhere else. It was like it was the first night they had been open and no one knew what to do. Now it was not all bad, as the food was good, plenty of it and at a fair price. Proceed with caution and definitely be assertive with the staff!!!

No me gustan los helados, pero esto estuvo bien. Es caro, pero vale la pena. Hay un montón de opciones, incluyendo regalos de chocolate también y apilan bien las cucharadas de helado. Personal muy profesional.

Great welcome and service not the food terrible. No taste no presentation I had spinach ravioli would have been nice to have more than one leaf of spinach! Sorry will not be back, staff great but food terrible.

Stopped in as doing a Lambeth walking tour. Great coffee and lovely service, made us very welcome

Simplemente delicioso. Platos súper sabrosos, porciones grandes y un personal amable maravilloso. Tercera vez visitando y en todo caso, se pone mejor cada vez.

Had lovely lunch! The manager Federico was beyond great, accomodating and incredibly knowledgeable. If he's around you're in good hands.

Our go-to place in the town centre. We have come here over the past few years quite a few times, with its convenient location for Heathrow coach, railway station and for a number of local buses too; nice staff, clean interior, cozy ambience with Mozart, jazz; excellent staff, food and coffee. Always a pleasure to relax here.

The park is great, with a great atmosphere. It's always full of a fun atmosphere. Verdi's has a fabulous chance to perfect its craft and whilst it does well in areas, it falls drastically short in other. The coffee is lacking, especially when compared to other St Albans cafe's, but it has a good selection of soft drinks. The ice cream bar is terrific. The lemon drizzle sponge cakes I had was one of the worst things you could ever order, they would do better to just buy Mr Kipling and sell them that way. Whoever is making the cakes needs some serious training. It was like eating a wooden doorstop. Stale, dry, and absolute no drizzle at all.

Came for a birthday celebration and were seated. But we waited and waited and waited. Nobody came to even ask if we would like a drink. A waiter finally decided to come with menus after about 25 minutes. Service was extremely slow throughout. The waitress who asked if we would like the dessert menus had scruffy chipped nails which looked awful. It was like being sat in a freezer. The whole experience was dissapointing.
