When it started to rain during a sightseeing tour of London, we happened to be standing in front of L'Antica. By chance, we managed to get a table straight away. Other guests were less fortunate and had to wait a little longer. But it was definitely worth the wait. We immediately felt at home in the small, bustling shop and were served quickly, friendly and always with a smile. We ordered two pizzas and the tiramisu twice. Even now we are still completely delighted. Authentic Italian, with high-quality ingredients and fantastic flavour. The next time we are in London, we will eat here again!

Great pizza, possibly one of the best I've had outside of Italy. The dough is the neapolitan style, thick but extremely light, just like in Naples. Prices are in line with London, the place is very small but we were swiftly accommodated in a table big enough for all of us. We'll definitely come back again!

I felt extremely disrespected, my wife and I went for lunch. We were skipped in line, and the two parties after us were able to order drinks and food before we were, even through we flagged the server twice asking for water, while she served the table next to us that sat after. I can only guess it’s because we’re American, if you are from around here I would avoid at all cost since you will be clearly singled out as a foreigner.

This is the best pizza that I’ve ever had in London. It’s just the very traditional Neapolitan pizza, it’s cooked the way it’s supposed to be cooked.

Small cosy restaurant; tables close together but really loved watching the dough being formed and the pizzas being baked in the wood fire oven. Spoilt for choice - so many enticing pizzas on the menu. Our pizzas were served straight out of the oven and were simply delicious. Fantastic.

We ate some excellent wood fired pizze in this quite small restaurant in the heart of Hampstead. It’s probably better to book a table as they were really full. Very friendly staff and service was very quick as well.

I love this little, cute independent restaurant. The pizzas are authentic and extremely tasty. My partner had a pasta dish that he also enjoyed. The staff are nice and friendly. I will definitely visit again when I’m in the area.

Outstanding pizza and the kindest staff. We went here twice. Perfect food and service. The peppino pizza was our favorite! We also tried the 50 Kalo in the city centre, but l’Antica Pizzaria in Hampstead is second to none!

We overheard very poor treatment of staff from a manger to a waiter. Telling him how to stand and where to place his hands. We were the only people in the restaurant and this was done very openly when it really should have been done privately away from customers. It then made for an awkward experience and the waiter was clearly uncomfortable and looked upset. Management should review how they speak to their staff as it was quite frankly extremely humiliating for the waiter.

un pequeño restaurante muy concurrido no aceptan reservas de fin de semana pero esperamos 15 minutos. la pizza es maravillosa: tomamos vespuchio y troisi encontramos que ambos eran demasiado buenos. el personal muy acogedor, la chica rubia es demasiado dulce y muy atenta. El cheeecake de Nutella es muy bueno al igual que el tiramisú, terminamos con un excelente café y limoncello. Es un lugar que tiene tanto el encanto italiano como el de Hampstead.

My best experience outside of my country. The pizza is excellent and made with passion and love wow you can taste it in every single bite! The tiny cosy restaurant is a hidden gem! You feel the italian atmosphere the music the italiano organico wine! The service is 5 stars young gentelman with ponytail and the blond lady are most attentive and lovely staff . The Neapolitan pizza Chef is awesome! The prices are also fair.

Sono stato all antica pizzeria I primi di settembre su consiglio di un amico, la pizza e' buonissima....purtroppo devo constatare che la tipa bionda che gira per la sala avanti indietro urlando...non e' un bel vedere....nervosa con lo staff, ci ha fatto attendere 50 minuti per poi piazzarci in 4 in un tavolino da 2 incastrati con altri tavoli, forse nervosa dallo stress si e' permessa di risponderci, se non vi sta bene quella e' la porta....mai sentita tanta maleducazione in un ristorante....e mi dispiace perche' al di fuori di questa tizia....tutto il resto e' stato perfetto.....questa davanti a chiunque ha risposto malissimo o comunque fuori dal contesto ad una collega credo che invece e' stata deliziosa....mi sembra fosse romana dall accento, veramente brava gentile....! Consiglio la pizza ma ordinate per mangiare a casa perche andare li e come andare al manicomio....si sente solo quella urlare a pizzaioli camerieri driver....che vergogna

We love near and visit occasionally. Can be difficult to get a table as it’s so small but the food is lovely and cooked just behind the seating area. The staff are friendly and when the mood takes them have given us free limoncello.

PROs: - Quaint restaurant with great menu - Pizza dough extremely light and airy CONs: - Horrible service experience. Very junior staff on a busy Friday night. No check backs. Removed plates from the table before everyone had finished. Main courses delivered across a ten minute period. - Appears to be a focus on servicing delivery orders. Constant back and forth through the door of delivery drivers. Very disruptive considering to size of the restaurant. - Calzone dough was undercooked and had very little filling. Would give another go but probably through delivery of collection. Not set up for a particularly enjoyable dining experience.

Me and my husband went for a dinner in this pretty, tiny restaurant in Hsmpstead. The pizza is perfect :makes you feel like in Italy-delicios ingredients and good combination. Very big choice of pizzas and toppings. We've tried Antica's one and Special one - simply superb. The italian wines very good, The cocktails really nice. Tiramisù homemade is original italiano buono. The staff are lovely, service very good, no waiting time. We really would like come back soon as possibile.

We've lived in hampstead for three years now and this is without a doubt our favourite restaurant not only in hampstead but in all of London. Whenever we come back from Italy on holiday we go here and it's like we've never left italy. The food is incredible. My boyfriend always gets a pizza and i mix it up between pasta and pizza depending on how i feel. We've tried almost everything in the menu and it's always fabulous and cooked perfectly. The burrata starter is our favourite and especially the chef burrata as that includes prosciutto. The service is always very friendly and on top of things. There's one waitress who's been there since we started going there who is exceptional. It's a small restaurant (with a beautful pizza oven in the back to watch them make the pizzas) and it is always busy. If we don't make reservations, even on a week day, we usually don't get a table. We can't speak highly enough of this place!

Typical Neapolitan pizza, where the dough remains a little wet. I had the Annibale one which was delicious. My friend had the Sophia Loren one and he loved it. We had tiramisu for dessert although we found it very heavy and filled with cream. Real tiramisu is not made with cream and we were surprised that it was not made with the original recipe. Also, the coffee in which the biscuits were dipped tasted cheap, it must have been instant coffeeAlthough we enjoyed the food and the nice chat with the two Italian waiters, we found that the non-Italian blond girl who “welcomed” us was very unfriendly and rude. She even EYEROLLED in front of us at one of our requests. We decided not to come back here anymore, as she pretty much killed the mood of the evening for us.

I'd start saying I'm Italian and I know how pizza is supposed to look and taste! This one is the perfect definition of Pizza (the REAL one, the one from Naples). I visited L'Antica Pizzeria multiple times and brought here a lot friends of mine from all over London and Italy and they all loved it! (My best friend and my mum claim they've never tried a pizza this good, not even in Italy!). The staff is welcoming and very nice. The place is little but very cozy. I'd recommend you book in advance if you're in a group of more than 3 people.

This place is a charming little restaurant in an equally charming Hampstead area of London. We are vegetarians and had a veg pizza and a pesto pasta. Both were probably the best I had in London. Would highly recommend for food, the staff and the cozy feel of the place.

Absolutely loved pizza and antipasto! Tiramisu was amazing. We had one of the best evenings ever. I don't remember if the guys we spoke to was the owner or a waiter but we had a laugh at the end of the dinner. He was super fun and Limoncello of course was on the house! It's a bit too far from where I live, but If I was closer I'd be a regular customer. No doubts.

I have been a regular customer for years: Antica’s staff is incredibly welcoming and lovely, the restaurant is tiny (waiting for a table is totally worth it) but cozy and warm. Visited today with 2 friends, waited around 25 mins altogether for a table, which seemed fair as it’s a very small place. It then took well over an hour for them to bring our pizzas. Considering it takes only a few minutes to cook a pizza in a proper wood-fired oven, this was ridiculous.

I went back to this pizzeria after few years expecting a very good pizza. I was disappointed- the pizza was watery in the middle, the tomato sauce tasteless and the mozzarella not melted. The restaurant itself has not changed at all over time and it would benefit from a renewal and good clean up. We will not go back again.

We went here for pizza on a recommendation. This isn’t pizza, best description I can think off is a floppy crepe circled by a ring of sponge filled with what can best be described as a watered down tomato soup with floating bits of mozzarella. Easier to eat with a spoon!

We went for dinner, we had an antipasto salumiere and two pizzas, very tasty. I loved the name of Italian author and poet on the pizzas, original idea and if you go for a first date, great content to talk to, if you know them of course. Great quality ingredient. The restaurant is really small, so I suggest to make a reservation if you want to go or you might wait before you find available places especially for the weekend.

I'm not sure how some places get their reviews... Got there a couple of days ago based on good reviews. The place is too small with bad interior. Not so clean either. The staff were too busy and not so friendly. Their pizzas were not well cooked and rather dissapointing regarding ingredients. The drinks menu is terribly small.

We go to L’Antica Pizzaria on weekends. Pizzas are very tasty and people are friendly. We like the one with truffle oil on top, that’s our favourite. We always go back there, it’s simple cozy and tasty.

Пришлось вставать и идти искать администратора. К этому времени большую часть гнилых листьев, что я отдала официанту, уже куда-то выбросили. И администратор сразу перестал понимать английский. И стал спрашивать: "И что вы хотите?" И доказывать, что с салатом все нормально. Все что я имела в качестве извинений - это мне убрали из счета стоимость салата. Позорище!!

Worst customer service! We were disappointed that within 30 minutes of waiting in the cold we would receive a table for two on our date night. After 45 minutes of waiting outside in the cold for the table to become available, we went inside when a table to became available. however another couple who were already in the restaurant decided that they wanted to move tables onto the one that had just become available. The restaurant offered no apology to us who had been patiently waiting for the table, their response was simply that we should wait for another table to become available...outside!

Full disclosure: we went shortly after they opened and did not wait in line at all. My impression of the place may be very different if I had had to wait in a long line.

Hemos estado yendo a L'Antica durante más de 5 años. Ha sido uno de nuestros pizzerías favoritos. Anoche pedimos pizza y pasta en Deliveroo y nos sentimos muy decepcionados, la calidad y la cantidad de los ingredientes no eran iguales. , el sabor de la salsa de tomate era diferente, las pastas no eran tan deliciosas como las que usaban también. Quizás hicieron esto para poder mantener el volumen entre la comida para llevar y el restaurante, pero espero que esta sea una experiencia única ya que han mantenido su gran sabor a lo largo de los años. . . .
