Visited as a group. Very well-organised, able to deal with allergies and serving an interesting selection of classic and innovative pizzas. Coeliac friend was very impressed with her gluten-free pasta.

Visited again after a few years away and great to see same staff srrving high quality food and drink sensibly priced. A truly authentic trattoria.

We had the best meal at Sarracino, the pizza and pasta we had were incredibly tasty and the staff was very friendly. Our waitress Dana took care of us and gave an excellent wine pairing suggestion for our meal. The limoncello at the end of the meal was a lovely touch as well. I would highly recommend eating here!

Making a reservation online is incredibly easy and the restaurant staff are very accommodating. I made a reservation online for a party of 10, and 12 people showed up--yet without complaint the restaurant staff helped make more room for us without question. Our group celebrated a birthday, and the entire restaurant was happy to sing happy birthday more than once. I brought a cake, and the staff put it in their fridge, used their own candles when presenting the cake, and then cut it themselves (after asking if that is what we would prefer). It was generously kind. The food was delicious. There was not one person who was unhappy with their order. I had the fillet, and it was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. I dreamed of my meal that night 🤣 The staff were very hospitable overall. The group needed to split the check, and the staff worked with us to do that, even though it was complicated. We are very grateful for how the restaurant hosted us. It was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, and I bet for any other occasion as well.

Awful pizza, one of the worst I've ever had. When a staff member collected my plate and asked me why I had left two thirds of it uneaten, he did nothing, didn't offer me an alternative and charged me full price. What a shame. I won't be going back to Sarracino.

Coming here for 10 years now. Just love the place and the people. Roberto is an amazing host. I usually eat the calamari and the lever because they are so well prepared that it's impossible not to order them again and again. Anywhere else I almost never order calamari and lever, but here it's just above and beyond...

The food was mediocre, the staff were too conceited for the derelict location and The decoration was also tired, it made the atmosphere completely dead.

Our second visit to this lovely local Italian. Starched linen and a friendly welcome from the staff made us feel valued (not always the case in London these days). We had fish mains which were well executed, shared a bottle of wine and three puddings. I’m pretty sure the bread and olive oil were on the house… The bill was just under £150 for the four of us. If you’re within striking distance this is definitely worth trying. Extensive menu with many pizza and pasta options as well as several meat and several fish main courses provide a choice for everybody and also makes this child friendly.

Great base and toppings but the sauce was underwhelming and the pizza was so so wet. so wet. I've never seen a pizza so wet. Overall, nice enough, but quite hard to eat.

I ordered pasta from specials menu that had white sauce and truffles - what I got was butter noodles that tasted like nothing with 2 tiny pieces of truffle. They charged this abomination 42 pounds. I would have gotten better dinner if I got instant ramen from convenience store and would have also saved 40 pounds. I took one bite of my pasta and told the waitress that I didnt like it. Instead of offering me to send it back she packaged it to go as if pasta I hated in the restaurant will magically become tasty when I get home? Overpriced mediocre food at best with awful service. I will be reconsidering future visits.

Atmosphere was lively, warm abd energetic and the staff were really friendly too. I ordered the asparagus risotto special which I immediately noticed was DRENCHED in olive oil, I didn't eat it all but ordered the tiramasu for desert. I was sick the next day sadly :(

The food is bland and lacks flavour. The owner chef is arrogant and while he believes that base ingredients generates the flavour but little does he not realise is how local herbs, spices such as cardamom, star ainse, cloves, and many other elevates the flavour even in an Italian cuisine, and that spices doesnt only mean chilli. The lack experimentation and arrogant mindset is what prevents this resturant from going from mediocre to exceptional. Yes it is your regular, run of the mill lovely setting place to have a pizza or some bland fish. The service is very good by the girls; always smiling and delivering a warm experience compensating for the lack of taste in the food cooked by the arrogant chef

Fantastic pizzas, the boccaccia pizza was amazing! Even my Italian boyfriend thought it was delicious and we were surprised that it didn't have a higher rating! Will definitely try the pasta next time!

On the menu says marinated aubergine but to me a bit bland, I didn’t expect they serve the cheese big chunky blocks like on the picture but the pizza based itself were fresh and good.

Great Italian with the brilliant Roberto, authentic food, good wines, great team to look after you, recommended! Check out the specials, we loved the veal chop, tuna carpacio, zuchini fries, the 'pizza' garlic bread, wines, ... but all good! Do go try it if you haven't.

Eat here weekly. The service and quality of food never changes, its always superb. Staff are wonderful and it gets super busy. Hardly surprising!!! Years later the quality in food and service are as good as ever.

Fabulous. Arrived 5.30pm post cinema and greeted by super staff. Chose our table & ordered. Our lovely waitress remembered my order... six months later? Amazing! FYI, Escalopina but hold the potatoes & swap with veggies. Aubergine stack super. Mum swapped her usual liver for the espada (sword fish). Have to admit, after tasting a bite, 100% perfect. House wines, bread, oils, superb. Shared a cheese platter for desert: apple, honey. Also superb. Lovely local above average

Came for dinner here with a friend, food was nice I had a diavola pizza which was spicy and the menu said as such but I did not like that I repeatedly had to ask for bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar and I was told I would only be brought bread if I ordered something. Normally it is customary in Italian restaurants to offer bread I thought this was rude of the waitress who wasn't Italian but Eastern European possibly Romanian I suspect. I couldn't help but notice some Eastern European men were also being served preferentially being served bread without asking, drinks took a long time to come also. Personally I wouldn't go back service is just as important if not more than the food for me. God bless.

Nice portions. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the veggies were nicely sautéed. If only I was to be ultra critical, the place felt a bit crammed, with all the tables and chair squeezed together. Otherwise it’s been a lovely experience.

My family and I recently celebrated my birthday at Sarracino restaurant and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. Despite our anticipation for a memorable evening, we were met with disappointment on several fronts. First and foremost, we were surprised to find a charge on our bill for a birthday cake that we did not request. Not only was this an unwelcome addition to our expenses, but the cake itself was clearly not fresh. Additionally, the discomfort of the chairs detracted from our ability to fully enjoy the meal and ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, our experience at Sarracino fell short of our expectations for a special occasion. We hope that management will take our feedback into consideration and strive to improve both the quality of their offerings and the level of customer service provided.

We recently held a lunch to celebrate my daughter’s baptism at Sarracino in the lower ground area. We were a group of 30 guests. The staff were very helpful and experienced. We had an excellent experience. The food was sublime and all our guests commented on how lovely the food was. The wine list at Sarracino is excellent and we were able to enjoy some wonderful wines priced very reasonably. Nothing was trouble for the staff and we really had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Went here for the mother in laws birthday. Nice staff and atmosphere. We weren't overly impressed with the pasta dishes, but the children's pizza was lovely. Outside the sign says Sarracino Pizzeria, which would be a more fitting name on its google listing because clearly pizza is their specialty. Decent place for some quick grub but not for a nice birthday dinner imo.

Visited this Italian restaurant with my family for the first time on Saturday evening. We didn't make a reservation and although they were very busy, they found a table for the three of us. The front window opens up completely and we were offered a table by the window at first, as we went to sit down the wind got slightly stronger and the owner asked if we would be more comfortable downstairs in the other part of their restaurant, we chose to go downstairs and we ended up having the downstairs to ourselves. We had a lovely waitress looking after us and couldn't have done her job any better than she did, excellent service. The food was lovely and no one had any complaints regarding any part of their meals. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant and we will be returning there soon to enjoy some more delicious Italian food. 10/10.

This is our favourite place to eat in London. The food here is fresh and delicious, it has never disappointed and we have gone more than 8 times. The service is very good, complimentary bread on arrival, always a full glass. 10/10 all round.

One of my favourite local Italians. Food quality is 10/10. Tables are a little tight - but it creates a nice buzzy feel. The best table is the one in the window, on a summers day when the windows are open. Free limoncello with the bill - always nice.

I ordered a take away in this restaurant only because the reviews highlighted a good pizza. I am really concerned if all these people below ever had a good pizza..... probably not. I ordered a Siciliana pizza which looked more like a Margherita pizza. Where were the aubergine God only knows. Not impressed at all. Dry pizza base as well and the quality of the ingredients is acceptable. Will I order again? No.

Good overall meal experience, staff were lovely and attentive, except one surly bald headed fella, seems less than happy with his lot in life, this was more than made up for by the rest of the team. I had a steak and potatoes which was good, if a bit more cooked than I asked for(medium), thankfully not leather. Everyone else in our party was happy with their meals.
