Disappointing - received the wrong pizza after specifically ordering for collection.

Wow , we stumbled.on this place with a quick local search, amazing atmosphere, beautiful food and great staff. A welcome traditional italian , we will definatley make this a regular haunt, thank you.

Superb and authentic food. Atmospjere fantastic. The whole restaurant joined in singing a happy birthday to my 82 year old mother...

Came for dinner here with a friend, food was nice I had a diavola pizza which was spicy and the menu said as such but I did not like that I repeatedly had to ask for bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar and I was told I would only be brought bread if I ordered something. Normally it is customary in Italian restaurants to offer bread I thought this was rude of the waitress who wasn't Italian but Eastern European possibly Romanian I suspect. I couldn't help but notice some Eastern European men were also being served preferentially being served bread without asking, drinks took a long time to come also. Personally I wouldn't go back service is just as important if not more than the food for me. God bless.

Nice portions. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the veggies were nicely sautéed. If only I was to be ultra critical, the place felt a bit crammed, with all the tables and chair squeezed together. Otherwise it’s been a lovely experience.

We had a great evening here. The food was tasty (I recommend the burrata starter and the pizza with potatoes), but this was surpassed by the friendly (and patient) staff! Would recommend to everyone, and will return.

My family and I recently celebrated my birthday at Sarracino restaurant and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. Despite our anticipation for a memorable evening, we were met with disappointment on several fronts. First and foremost, we were surprised to find a charge on our bill for a birthday cake that we did not request. Not only was this an unwelcome addition to our expenses, but the cake itself was clearly not fresh. Additionally, the discomfort of the chairs detracted from our ability to fully enjoy the meal and ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, our experience at Sarracino fell short of our expectations for a special occasion. We hope that management will take our feedback into consideration and strive to improve both the quality of their offerings and the level of customer service provided.

Lovely place and the food was great. I emptied my plate and I will 100% go again.

Hi! I'm very unhappy with my order because your driver left his rubbish front of rhe door. Very rude guy please! Don't send him to here again. The another thing is I've ordered a half a meter pizza but someone forgot to slice it up.

Went here for the mother in laws birthday. Nice staff and atmosphere. We weren't overly impressed with the pasta dishes, but the children's pizza was lovely. Outside the sign says Sarracino Pizzeria, which would be a more fitting name on its google listing because clearly pizza is their specialty. Decent place for some quick grub but not for a nice birthday dinner imo.

Eat here weekly. The service and quality of food never changes, its always superb. Staff are wonderful and it gets super busy. Hardly surprising!!! Years later the quality in food and service are as good as ever.

Nice 'n mellow atmosphere - can call it relaxed/romantic/chilled/perfectly dimly lit. Gr8 Italian home-cooked food and service - try the burrata and chicken in porcini sauce. Tiramisu is super. Definitely a repeat go-to place. Like it! Recommended.

The food and service at Sarracino was amazing!! Dana, Veto and Izabella were so kind, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was 11/10! I would recommend this restaurant as the food was so delicious and the customer service was outstanding.

Visited this Italian restaurant with my family for the first time on Saturday evening. We didn't make a reservation and although they were very busy, they found a table for the three of us. The front window opens up completely and we were offered a table by the window at first, as we went to sit down the wind got slightly stronger and the owner asked if we would be more comfortable downstairs in the other part of their restaurant, we chose to go downstairs and we ended up having the downstairs to ourselves. We had a lovely waitress looking after us and couldn't have done her job any better than she did, excellent service. The food was lovely and no one had any complaints regarding any part of their meals. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant and we will be returning there soon to enjoy some more delicious Italian food. 10/10.

This is our favourite place to eat in London. The food here is fresh and delicious, it has never disappointed and we have gone more than 8 times. The service is very good, complimentary bread on arrival, always a full glass. 10/10 all round.

One of my favourite local Italians. Food quality is 10/10. Tables are a little tight - but it creates a nice buzzy feel. The best table is the one in the window, on a summers day when the windows are open. Free limoncello with the bill - always nice.

Great experience at Sarracino, found totally randomly as we were looking for a place that would still be serving dinner. Excellent pizza (and choice in general), and I'm a picky pizza eater ;) Staff are lovely.

I ordered a take away in this restaurant only because the reviews highlighted a good pizza. I am really concerned if all these people below ever had a good pizza..... probably not. I ordered a Siciliana pizza which looked more like a Margherita pizza. Where were the aubergine God only knows. Not impressed at all. Dry pizza base as well and the quality of the ingredients is acceptable. Will I order again? No.

Good overall meal experience, staff were lovely and attentive, except one surly bald headed fella, seems less than happy with his lot in life, this was more than made up for by the rest of the team. I had a steak and potatoes which was good, if a bit more cooked than I asked for(medium), thankfully not leather. Everyone else in our party was happy with their meals.

This place is a great restaurant. It's not so big and so you're guaranteed good service. All of the staff working were efficient and very well mannered. The food cannot be faulted. It's very clear that the chef knows how to create authentic Italian food. You should go here if you want to taste it. It's a million miles away from those chains purporting to be Italian. It drops one star because in my opinion, the food would be much better, and stay hotter for longer if the plates were warmed... Food did get cold quite quickly here. Overall, it's a lovely place, with great food and I highly recommend it.

Wine good .ordered 3 pasta seaford dishes. Mine was good but my two guest dishes were very ordinary .Clams were ???? .

The atmosphere is really nice. The food as well , pizza Diavalo was good to spice then usual Diavola. The bread plate was not good I will suggest to change it. Everything else was good and I had a good time and nice food. Also nice stuff , friendly. I will recommend this place

L'Italia ha Londra si puo anche trovare negli ristoranti ma da Sarracino è assai lontana,il servizio è pessimo e il cibo idem. Non lo consiglio.

My first choice when it comes to Italian in West Hampstead. Delicious and reasonably priced. Cocktails here are also exceptionally good, even better than some of the bars around the area and also reasonable just like the food.

I am not giving 1 star only because we ate the food and the wine was good. We ordered a bottle of Picpoul de Pinot and received a small thick wine glasses. We’ve asked the head waiter/manager if we could have “normal” wine glasses, he said that they have glasses for each type of wine. When I asked what’s the reason for that as I’ve never heard of something similar, his response was that they don’t serve the nice glasses for cheap wine bottles! We were absolutely shocked. The pasta we’ve ordered was the one you buy in a shop and not made in the restaurant which was really disappointing. They put so much passata in each sauce that they all tasted the same. Since we all work in hospitality and know what the real customer service is, needles to say that we were not impressed. I just moved to the area and absolutely love Italian food but they missed to get a loyal customer.

Such a cute, intimate and cozy little restaurant tucked away behind West Hampstead station. Authentic Italian. Great place for a date.

Very good service and respectable pricing, also strategically placed with the 3 nearby stations and plenty of bars to choose from if you want to go somewhere else afterwards. Only real drawbacks I had was the egg on my pizza was overdone and the base was a little thick but otherwise a really authentic atmosphere. Would reccomend if you're in the area.

Made an order on deliveroo and when the pizza arrived the pizza topping was all in one corner of the box. When I complained the driver said ‘I can’t do anything the order has been accepted, call the restaurant’ and walked off. When I called the restaurant they literary said: ‘we gave it to the deliveroo driver and we don’t care what happens with the food after that’. Mind blowing service delivery all round!

Very nice food, but - the person who I'm guessing is the manager, was not very friendly, as a contrast to the other members of staff which were very helpfuly and nice.

Really really good pizza and food! Ordered a primavera and the orecchiette, both were delicious. Real depth to the taste - the pizza was fresh and also light and the pasta really had the tomato and aubergine coming through. A very Tucson typical Italian restaurant feel coming through not a dated and tired but rather timeless. Can't wait to go again. Service was respectful and wine was well priced (and tasty).

If you are looking for good and consistent Italian food then Sarracino is definitely the place to visit. Their dishes are very tasty. Love their sea food pasta and the bread is just amazing. Lovely and very welcoming staff and great ambience.

Just wow! I’m a VERY picky person when it comes to restaurants, good food and atmosphere but this one hits the mark! The food is nothing but authentic Italian. All freshly made. The service I was given was incredible! They went above and beyond. No music but the way this restaurant is you’d think there was a symphony behind you. Amazing is all I can say! 10 out of 10

Excellent food in this smallish West Hampstead Italian. Not a lot of atmosphere, but I do keep returning.

Sarracino is the best as always!! I had no idea it was on its way as I hadn’t had the ‘en route’ update so when a guy phoned, who sounded like he was talking through a cushion - ie I couldn’t understand a word! - I hadn’t a clue what was going on, we went out to the door on the off chance and he was there and very angry, I have no idea why as I couldn’t understand HIM on the phone!! There seemed to be an issue with the flat number 🤷‍♂️

The saute potatoes where over cooked they were black burned very disappointing

is 2 time i order. gnocchi some days ago was frozen also if the souse was warm. today the pizza was very bad like chewing gum. please change che chef. if not nobody order again. i m sorry becose untill now everything was fine but now all change in bad way. i hope you do something. maybe no much people call back but never order more. i hope you resolve the problem. your food was wonderful before but now. very bad. thanks. appreciate if you do something in better becose i love your food untill last weeks. thanks maria capone

Sarracino is always packed out and busy - for a reason! We had the corner circular table for 6 by the open window. Great for a sunny day of people watching, whilst cool drinks and delicious food get served. We started with the burrata to share and some other breads and olive oil. The olive oil is fresh and tasty. The pizzas were large and nobody on the table (4 adults and 2 children) could finish theirs. Great fresh ingredients combined for fantastic flavours - they were all packed up and enjoyed the next day. There was of course still room for dessert with sorbet and tiramisu shared and demolished! The staff were friendly and thoughtful. We will be returning.

When I want a take away pizza I always order from Sarracino. I tried all the pizzeria in the area and for TAKE AWAY, Sarracino has never disappointed me. Never tried at the restaurant but usually if the pizza is good for Take away, it can only be better at the restaurant. I order from them once a week.

Superb food and service. Old fashioned Italian. My scalopina was fabulous with a side of aubergine/ mozzarella. My friend had the fegato. Excellent. The zucchini fritters were sublime. Bread, olive oil on the table. A true local. And great value.

My second time ordering from Sarracino and it is fast becoming my favourite
