The food was good but… Be aware that they will add a service charge in the bill at 10%. It is not noted on the bill and it also says service not included on the paper bill. A sly move and lots of other reviews on here back up this point. The food was very nice and service was ok, a little too fast if anything. I would recommend the Bolognese. Felt a little rushed at times and probably would’ve had a dessert if the service was a little slower, maybe they wanted the next customers in? Make sure you book in advance as it will be very busy, the online booking system was very good and easy to use. Do this to avoid queues and disappointment, especially at a weekend.

It's not that great!!! Aside from the quality of the food, the prices are excessive! And then the bill is not clear: the service is not indicated as clearly as it should be! I absolutely advise against choosing this restaurant!

Visiting from the United States. We started with a party of two and ended up being a party of six. All staff were very accommodating and incredibly friendly. Great atmosphere that feels comfortable and like home. Silvia took excellent care of us and had a great attention to detail! If we lived here, this would be one of the regular places I would visit.

I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant, which is tucked away in an area which otherwise has a lot of tourist traps! The food was delicious, high quality and authentic, and they were happy to personalise it for us too. The service was very good and the prices for meals are reasonable. The only recommendation I'd have for the restaurant is that booking was quite hard (I tried to ring but struggled to get through so ended up emailing) but it is definitely worth it so make sure you go!

I was looking for a place to eat near my accommodation late at night, so I stopped by because it was close, and it was a better experience than I expected! I ordered carbonara, lamb ribs, and steak, and all three were really delicious! :) I ordered wine as it was recommended and it was really good. And the owner was so kind and cute... ㅠㅠ I don't know if it was because I ate a lot, but they even gave me a free lemoncello, so I ate it well... haha ​​I'm making great memories in London. Sylvia is good~

We were out for a late lunch and stumbled upon this little gem. Real Italian food! We enjoyed pasta and pizza dishes and desserts. All was tasty - but the pizza was the best we ever had!

This place was amazing. I’ve tried a lot of Italian restaurants over my 50+ years and this is the best food my family has had ever. We have been to Italy and they are by far better than many chef’s I’ve tasted. The atmosphere and staff are warm and welcoming. Bravo!

We received a very warm welcome, even at such a late hour. Trattoria Verdi is open until 1 a.m. The ambience is very nice and authentic. We had a pizza 🍕 and pasta with salmon 🐟. Our food tasted very delicious! Absolutely recommended, especially if you are looking for a romantic place with live piano music, where the host also makes sure that 🎶 music requests from the guests to the pianist are welcome! We will definitely come back when we are in London again!

I like the great Italian food here and the service in this restaurant is always warmful when each time I stepped in. It is worth mentioning that the atmosphere make me impressive and the daily live piano every evening is also worth hearing!😀😀👍👍

What a horrible place! No welcome, no hello, not even a look… we had to order standing up after 10 minutes. The service was very VERY long, not to mention the dishes which were profoundly bad, we were not shown the bill before paying but they did not hesitate to inflate the prices for tourists. The coffees charged twice, the bread offered but we don't see the color and the limoncello "free" which ultimately is not. Small positive point for the pianist, which allows us to pass such a long time between each command. Address to escape, don't thank us!

We came here after a visit to the British museum. The staff were absolutely lovely. Food was good and it was one of those evenings where time flew and everything was lovely.

We went there for dinner, since it was close to the hotel, a cozy place, Silvia treated us very well, very friendly and helpful, we ordered two pizzas, which were very good and a good size, and for dessert a tiramisu, very well presented and We thought it was great, they invited us to a lemonade, and there was a boy playing the piano and they asked you to choose a song from a list so that he could play it on the piano. Went there at 10.30 pm on Thursday. Sylvia and Kartik who was my servers were very pleasant , hospitable and professional. The mussels were fresh,delicious and spot on. Lamb cutlets were ordered but we were served lamp chops ,not done well. The pizza Napoli was good. House white wine was excellent. Thank you for your services.

I had a lovely lunch here with my parents. The food was fantastic and really fresh. The desserts all looked amazing and freshly made, we wanted to try them all, but went with one of the cheesecakes. UPDATE: In addition to the list of failures below, I now have FOOD POISONING! Below average experience that fell very short of the reviews (which I suspect are not organic) Four people for 6.30pm midweek dinner. Everything ok initially… then the food came. Food: Poor quality ingredients and totally bland. My carbonara was al dente pasta swimming in lukewarm cream. No egg, no thickening of sauce, it was so runny it didn’t cling nor coat the pasta. I left over half. Other dishes looked microwaved, not fresh. Service: nice service until the waiter (older guy) took over our table when he cleared away our plates. Pushy upsell approach. Based on the food quality we declined the desserts, coffee etc and waiter seemed very annoyed. Friendly demeanour disappeared. I saw the bowl of ‘fresh’ fruit salad which looked very Del Monte and the tiramisu didn’t look very appetising. Bill: the bill arrived without us requesting and was presented by the older male waiter. Once he realised there was no upsell, he wanted us out. I asked if they accepted AmEx and received a long lecture about the fees associated - in short, they do not take AmEx. Waiter also used very forceful tactics for a tip when the card machine was presented. DO NOT RECOMMEND, WILL NOT RETURN

Arrived after a long flight our first introduction to London cuisine Coming from Italian back ground and what we were served was pretty ordinary Spaghetti Bolsnese served with 3 meat balls😂😂🤦‍♂️ My wife ordered lasagna it came in like a set bowl,when she pulled the top layer back it was just like liquid and cheese 🤮 ..not even layered we sent it back and refused to pay for disgusting food that should be served to pigs… The waiter said that she never gets a complaint. 😂😂

Not a such great place to visit received by an elderly waiter guy and receiving was not well may be because I’m a single Indian guy, when he came take an order he is bossy and not responded well there are few other Indian guys working there and treated me well with what I need coming to the food the fettuccini is good m, minestrone soup smelled like yesterday’s one ( felt sick after having that) then I ordered tiramisu which is a frozen cake . Wouldn’t recommend even if you are a fan of Italian cuisine

An excellent restaurant for those who want Italian food, the meatball dish is very good and well served. The only negative point is that they don't accept wise, I had to pay with an international credit card +iof. Other than that I highly recommend it

The best Italian meal we had in London! My husband had the bistecca with tomato and garlic sauce and I had Seabream fish. Both were served with real home made sauce and a variety of good vegetables. Italian food house with quality and good service. I had spaghetti with meatballs, delicious.

A large serving of pasta, topped with olive oil (although it doesn't have enough Italian flavour) and some parmigiano, it's delicious♪ Of course it's not authentic, so the pomodoro (I don't know), the cheese (I use Parmigiano which is pretty good), and the tiramisu (Italy uses bitterness properly) are just a few more. For example, make the pasta hard and fry it once. If you want to come get the money, I'll put my hand on it, that's fine. House wine is extremely delicious Japanese people shouldn't think about the price (lol) Well, it's better than Ristorante... And it's a matter of survival in this area that they work hard to get the chips, so it can't be helped lol Above all, the staff is smiling, I think this is a very good ristorante♪
