Italia Uno in Camden

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is way better than you’d expect. The sandwiches are made with fresh, hand-cut meat, real cheese, and crisp veggies. The sun-dried tomatoes stood out—they added a ton of flavor. It’s a small, family-run spot with good portions, and at £5 for a 10-inch sandwich, it’s a great deal. Definitely one of those places you might overlook, but once you try it, you’ll get why people keep coming back. I’ll be stopping by for another sandwich next time I’m in the neighborhood.

This is a very unique Italian café. At first sight things look a little bit messy but I guess it works and it's what gives this place its character. There is a good selection of panini with authentic products. The coffee was really good. The service was friendly. Highly recommended

I'm a tourist who is a Lazio fan and I wanted to see my team's match while eating something in the heat... I came across this place, what can I say, top, I saw Lazio in Como, I enjoyed a good sandwich and I had a chat with the manager owner, exquisite person who took care to make me totally at ease. Highly recommended!

Big Napoli fan. So, I went to watch the game there 3 times. If you want a slice of downtown Napoli, then this is the place Warm staff once they win your trust. Especially the old boy who runs it. Kids are very much part of the atmosphere. Match day gets rowdy, and it's like watching the games in a bar on the outskirts of the Maradona stadium. Best coffee in town. Best panini in town, overflowing with good ingredients.

My experience was a grate one the manager is very simpatico he give me the permission to take these, video and Fotos Google, the manager say at the moment it just wine and cocktails so they do nice dishes with salad cheese all tips of Italian 🇮🇹 wine some time a good plate of pasta when he really, know what Venue he wants to do I will update his page he do not do lunch cheese sandwiches Bruschetta posucciout

Very nice place, where it is possible to eat delicious food, panini, sandwiches and much more. I discovered this place in 2002, when I was a student. Since then every time I am in the London area, I’ve a lunch at Italia Uno

If you want a quiet and peaceful lunch I would definitely recommend. The aubergines are so good! And for a quick snack the sandwich with artichoke hearts is amazing (the bread is crunchy, fresh, olives and sundried tomatoes make it extremely flavorful). Can write a whole paragraph on that sandwich by itself. Overall, everything is made fresh and good quality. The service is great ! I never had a bad experience here and the guy working behind the counter actually works every hour under the sun (and more), always with a smile. Genuinely so impressed and inspired by his work ethic.

Absolute chaos. Three televisions set to different channels blaring over one another. Owner and his wife juggling five food orders simulatenously. Napoli football shirts on every inch of wall and Scottish banknotes in the till. Smell of burnt bread hanging in the air. Simply unbeatable. The only place to come for an Italian lunch.

If you want to eat well and without breaking the bank, this is your place. Homemade food. Good nice and cheap. The very good sandwiches are ideal for take away, but if you want to sit down they have other dishes that make you feel like you are eating in an Italian house. Great cheap Italian deli. Lots of sandwich options, pasta dishes, and salads. It's not the best of sandwich spots but for the price and quantity you get it's very, very good. The meat arancini was reheated, but it was creamy, hot, and melty, and the ragu pasta was delicious, so I would recommend getting that. The owner and waitress were so lovely, and it's a nice place to sit outside and enjoy. We got a big sandwich, pasta, arancini, and 2 coffees for £18 (almost unheard of in London).

Wow. Amazing food. I'm so glad we tried this while visiting the UK from the US. I had the vegetarian pasta of the day, which was a pesto pasta, and tried the vegetarian lasagna. WOW.

I have been coming here consistently when I come to my office near this place. It is an absolute gem in the middle of SOHO and I feel like I’m in Italy when I’m here. The secret has to come out, This place is the gem of Central london. Firstly the food is traditional Italian like it is in Italy. The Italian guy that runs this place is so sweet and he serves up some wonderful food, I had a baguette filled with salami and some wonderful Italian cheese with salad and mayo, let me tell you I was so shocked when he asked for £4.00, this is the cheapest cafe in central london, they also do an amazing Italian breakfast with mortedella salami Parmalat ham with scrambled eggs or boiled eggs which is devine and that is only £5.50 amazingly cheap. The place is the best Italian cafe in the whole of London. They also do a pasta of the day. It is so traditional and qaint and it feels like your in Italy. This is a must to go place and worth travelling to just to have a bite to eat as you will not regret it, 5 star rating g without question.

Such a pleasure to be served by felizio (felix) who is the cafe owner. He was so kind and made us feel at home. The prices are nominal and the food tastes homemade. Absolutely would return back for a long meal.

The seafood sandwich is undoubtably the best in London. I must have first gone here over 15 years and over that time it’s absolutely kept its unique Italian atmosphere and brilliant service and focus on great cafe food.

Very friendly owner, ready to help if anything happens. The food is also delicious, especially the panini, the only thing about the service is that if it says that tomatoes are at an increased price, you don’t need to put them at the regular price, for some this is a +, for me -.

Excellent cheap homemade Italian food. Forget the negative reviews. This Gem of a business run by two elder Italian gentleman is doing everything right. Yes, there are ashtrays on the limited tables outside but where in London Isn’t there. We stumbled on this place looking for a non chain and were not disappointed. The only question you need to ask is why are there plenty of customers and food delivery bikes waiting to pick up. Will be using as our preferred eatery in this part of town from now on.

Since we discovered it on our trip to London, we haven't changed places. The sandwiches range between 4-5 euros, they are made to order and are very large and delicious (the one with cotoletta and spicy salami stands out) with products imported from Italy. Delicious and hearty pasta dishes for €5. The likes of which have never been seen before in London, and without being fast food (everything super homemade). Plus, it's one of the few places in the city that makes good coffee. The man who serves is a charm. Great service, quality and price, don't miss it, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

This review is primarily based on the sandwiches made here and my overall experiences here over countless visits over the years. This is not your fancy sandwich place, this is your Italian hole in the wall, fresh deli meat on bread kinda place with a cappuccino on the side kinda place. Whatever the Italian version of a greasy spoon is, this is it (but without the grease). Family owned and run they make top tier sandwiches and lovely coffee at a price you shouldn't be able to get in central London (I'm surprised more students are coming here for their fill). Some of the other stuff outside of the sandwiches can be a bit hit or miss, but for the price I don't think you're justified to complain. My only fault would be sometimes, closer to the evening they run out of the nice soft bread they use and the alternative doesnt quite hit the same, but still this place is far far better than a lot of the other sandwich places nearby and it's open, somehow, pretty much all day. Oh and the interior is just a real quirky mix of everything, with TVs playing 3 different Italian channels at any one time, almost always one with football. I find its nicest to sit outside, but often I'm just grabbing and going for lunch.

I was at one of the university libraries nearby and wanted something nice to eat, that was reasonably priced, so I went here. The atmosphere was lovely, it was welcoming and cozy, the owners are great and the food was delicious. It was a Sunday so it was fairly quiet, but I went today (a Tuesday) and it was pretty busy but the service was still great. I got a panini Italia and it was genuinely the best panini I've had in my life haha it was so tasty I will probably go whenever I'm at the library :)

Italia Uno is my favourite cafe in London, it’s such great value and the food is great. I always get the Bondola sandwich with artichokes and would really recommend. The coffee is also great and the daily pasta too. The cafe has such a authentic Italian vibe and the owner Felice is lovely and really friendly. I have been coming here nearly every weekend for about 1 / 1.5 years, but now I’ve finished my masters I won’t be in the area nearly as much, which I am very sad about it! I have recommend this spot to all my friends, and will always be back when I’m in the area. Thanks Felice!!

Just randomly pop in there for a coffee, cold drink or bite to eat. The coffee is far far better than the chain coffee shops on the adjacent Tottenham Court Road. They can make you a sandwich/roll or you can get some of their delicious pasta. This is one of the hidden gems in central London which you only find if you go down a side street.
