The Village Deli in Haringey

This place is excellent !! Superb fresh sandwiches, baguettes etc. with generous fillings. The lady is the nicest, most personable person I’ve spoken too ! Great value for money as well.

Clean, affordable tasty grub and very well run little sandwich shop in silly overpriced corner of london. Very glad it exists !

Visited here at lunch time when it was busy with school students. Staff worked very hard to produce tasty sandwiches as quickly as possible. Nice banter between the staff and customers. Good value fresh food.

Have to say we keep going back to this Deli , the lovely ladies who work there are always very smiley and happy to help with every order ... but to be honest I go back there for two reasons other than the staff ... always willing to accommodate my extra Tuna baguette and a corner piece of Bread Pudding .... Both to die for :)

Popped in to pick up something for lunch. Got decent baguettes and two teas for £7-8 in total, so really happy with this find tucked just off Highgate High Street. It's really a deli and there isn't much space to eat inside, though that's not really a problem as there's plenty of benches and a free public toilet in Pond Sq. (just opposite). There was a fair selection of sandwiches/baguettes to choose from as well - for example, we got one bacon and one turkey with cranberry. For basic cheap eats or takeaway tea, I would definitely recommend giving this place a look!

It's 'only' a deli. But. It has a fabulous range of choice for a sandwich, roll, baguette, panini etc. All freshly made with no scrimping. Service is friendly. Location central. Excellent stop off to pick up a picnic or al fresco lunch. Best sandwich bar in North London, worth a bus trip up form Camden or Kentish Town - really!
