Had been awhile since I had popped into Leafy Bean as I’m not always in this direction, but did see they were hosting a LGBTQ evening Thursday (via Instagram) so thought I must go and support! Was lovely to sit with Laura and some local people in the community and get to know others for this eve. Will be held monthly so will definitely have to pop back. And also pop in more often for a coffee even if I’m not catching the train! Always a good brew and also the bagel menu sounds tempting so I do fancy that soon. Thanks again Laura! Will see you again soon!

First time at the station due to a Piccadilly Line suspension. I’d been stationary on the Piccadilly Line for over an hour and just about over it. Stumbled across this cafe and my chai latte and bagel made the day not so bad! Friendly staff and a nice little refuge hahaha

Never open when it's supposed to be, finally saw it open and thought I'd give it a try, I was the only customer there and tried to get a single espresso at 13:01 and was told coffee finishes at 1pm, pathetic.

Leafy Bean is a must-visit café, the coffee is great, pastries are tasty (great vegan options too) and service and location are great - slightly quirky being on a train platform but it really works!

Absolutely charming coffee shop on the train platform, beautifully done inside with two rooms to sit, and plenty outside in amongst planted flowers just to make it even nicer for your daily coffee. Always very friendly and probably the best coffee in North London. Genuinely makes my day every time I'm in here

A trackside haven that catches the morning sun with great coffee (my Cortado was spot on) and pastries and friendly staff.

There is no place like it in North London! Cozy and beautiful little café, lovingly decorated with delicious coffee and tea. The baked goods and tasty sandwiches they offer are a must and there is always something for vegans!! The staff is super friendly too. The outside space on the platform is amazing on a sunny day and even on a cold day with the trains running past this café is the ideal hiding spot to sit and enjoy a moment of peace.

This is a delightful spot for a delicious range of teas, coffees, sandwiches and fresh pastries. There is also a selection of beautiful deli items. An absolute must if you’re in North London.

This is the most inventive, beautiful and well designed space ever. It also has fantastic food and service. I love it. Worth taking a trip there just to see it.

Love dropping in to the Leafy Bean for great coffee and pastries. Comfortable and attractive setting indoors and really pleasant outdoor space, really pretty flowers.

There are plenty of coffee shops I could frequent, but I chose this one because it is beautiful, has ambience and character. The staff are engaging, warm and friendly and if you have the time and inclination their cakes, biscuits, sandwiches (with vegetarian options) is worth exploring. Delicious 😋 is an understatement. On occasion, I deliberately miss my train just to stay in this friendly place.

Hands down the best part of my morning commute. They have amazing vegan options (and non vegan options for when dairy is a necessity), and the speediest coffee skills to ensure a caffeinated journey in. To boot, Laura is so so lovely!

We love visiting these guys on the platform. They’ve done such a wonderful job at creating a dreamy outdoor (and now indoor!) seating area to relax and enjoy a delicious tea, coffee and vegan treat in. The staff are always super friendly too!

This is one of our favourite local spots, I highly recommend it to everyone as one of the best things about this area! Laura and the team are so welcoming and the coffee and cocktails are excellent. The outside space is a lovely addition in the summer and the inside is nice and cosy too and has a small workspace / event space. A really lovely neighbourhood spot that will be sure to have you leaving with a smile and a chat, as well as delicious provisions.

Wonderful coffee, great pastries and a warm welcome. What's not to like. The team at Leafy Bean have made themselves an invaluable part of the local community. And aside from the morning, do cocktail evenings. They are even opening up another room in the cafe so more people can sit in and enjoy what is on offer. Definitely worth a visit.

As others have mentioned, Leafy Bean is a little gem in the heart of the Bounds Green / Bowes Park community! Absolutely a lovely little spot for a nice cup of coffee and a pastry, with good vegan options too ! The new outside space is great for a summer cocktail and the staff area always incredible friendly! A MUST go to if you are in the area! Great options for little gifts too if you are on your way to a friends and need to pick something up! Just lovely!

This is a great spot for the perfect neighbourhood coffee - relaxed and homely with great cakes and other bites/ provisions. Laura and team are super friendly and chatty and the coffee and tea is consistently first rate.

Poor service , coffee did not arrive and there was no response to my emails about my missing order.

Laura and the team have worked tirelessly and created a lovely space on the platform. They served us during pandemic so well through the hatch, created a great platform outdoor space and the new developments indoors look promising too. Great coffee & tea too.

Such a cool cafe / cocktail bar, right on the train platform here at Bowes Park Station. Perfect cup of coffee and superb own branded tea, all topped off with wonderful customer service from the loveliest owner Laura. I came all the way from West London to check this place out and it was well worth the journey.

Leafy Bean is such a gem. Great coffee, fantastic tea, fresh sushi on Saturdays and all sorts of great produce, both locally sourced and some international delights. We love it there and the people who run it are so nice and hard working and always looking for ways to continue improving

We utterly adore this place. Leafy bean coffee is exceptional and Laura is super-friendly, a winning combination! I also bought lots of great Xmas presents here because their wonderful grocery is stuffed full of beautiful giftable food and drink. So lucky to have this place as our local coffee shop.

What a perfect tea for our family.

Pre-COVID this was my favourite place to work from on a Friday. As things changed, Laura made sure that she kept Leafy Bean at the heart of the community, offering deliveries including groceries. Always adapting, Sushi Saturdays are a welcome addition, as well as the cinnamon buns! The award winning tea and excellent coffee are still being poured with a (virtual) hug and a smile. Love this place!

Always friendly but does not make up for the fact that their coffee is absolutely incredible. Awesome choice of tea and coffee, gifts and snacks.There is a nice sheltered area on the platforms where you can grab a table and relax. Service is great and prices are not stupid either!

Sweet cute little coffee shop on a gorgeous Victorian suburban train station. Run by a hard working owner who has built the entire thing from scratch, and I mean literally (building works, outdoor seating, shop inside etc). Managed to survive Covid through sheer determination. She deserves a medal
