Alexandra Reataurant in Great Yarmouth

We have been visiting various restaurants from our holiday home here over the past years but discovered this little Gem right in the centre of Yarmouth. Loverly Family run restaurant serving various dishes to suit most people but my wife loves it for the Moussaka. Great quick attentive & efficient service, comfortable private seating booths and reasonably priced. We will be returning once the Van opens next year…👍

We went to the Alexandra to celebrate a birthday and we all had a wonderful meal! The service was second to none, very attentive to our requirements. The food was of high quality, very well presented and delicious! We all enjoyed our meals immensely. We will definitely be visiting here again. Thank you to all the team.

Decided to have dinner at the Alexandra after reading reviews here and they did not disappoint. Restaurant was clean, helpful staff and the food was excellent. Didn’t like 1 meal but they happily replaced it with another. Will definitely return next time I’m in town

The food was great, nice service as well very pleasant. My Mrs had prawn cocktail to start and I had fried king prawns which where both lovely. Then mains she had steak and I had a massive lamb shank which no complaints either both amazing.

Highly rate this restaurant, high quality food and atmosphere.. not rushed between courses and very pleasant staff. We had the sea bass, 2 x homemade lasagne and a mushroom stroganoff. Portions were large and.cooked to perfection.

Found this restaurant a year ago when I was visiting with family. The food was fantastic then and went back again this year. It is still as good as the last time and wouldn't go anywhere else. Can thoroughly recommend both the food and wine here.

Wanted to treat that special lady to a Mother's day meal. We chose this place because we had heard so many positive things about it. Where do I start? From entering the restaurant we were immediately shown to our reserved table which was set up for the occasion. The ladies of our table were offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. The menu was varied with many Greek dishes and English too. We all ordered something different to each other and everything was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable and inviting and the service couldn't be faulted. Yesterday, I went to the Alexandra with a group of old friends for our Christmas lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and there was a great choice on the menu, The traditional xmas meal and both English and Greek dishes were available. The food was plentiful and delicious and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this family restaurant

Called in for lunch as we remembered visiting many years before. We were delighted to find that whilst the interior had received a fresh modern makeover, the ambiance hadn't changed at all. Super friendly staff with a great welcoming and warming atmosphere. Roast dinners all around and the food was well cooked and plentiful. My only regret is that we don't live nearer, as the greek nights sound great fun and I'd love to experience one!

This family restaurant definitely deserves a visit. I visited with my daughter and son-in-law as we were in the area for a short break. Our last visit had been 9 years previously but they have invested in doing the place up and it is looking fabulous and very welcoming. The choice on the menu is extensive and covers everything from traditional Greek favourites to all the English favourites. We all decided to have the roast dinner and were so glad, the amount of food and the wonderful taste meant we made the correct choice. We all followed up with desserts and were very pleasantly surprised at the final bill. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning next time we are visiting the are. Staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our banter, my son-in-law even ended up with a lollipop for his cheek and touching the hot plates lol Great experience and fabulous food and atmosphere

Heading to the end of our season and it wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t finish off one of our last weekends with a good meal at this establishment. Great food as always. This is a lovely Greek restaurant with a wide variety of meals, including vegan choices, yay! They are obviously busy and run a variety of special 'nights'. All the staff were accommodating, but our star server was Soulla. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She offered me a second choice of vegan dish which was delicious. Worth a visit, definitely. Parking is free (after 6pm if I remember correctly) in a large car park about 5 mins away. A gem of a restaurant in a bit of an iffy town centre.
