The Dock Tavern in Great Yarmouth

Back again after a year away, but when we go to Gorleston, the first stop is the Dock Tavern. Always a warm welcome. Always good ale. When food is available, (only certain days of the week) always good and very reasonably priced. The bar staff are fantastic. A real community pub - unfortunately a dying breed. Keep up the good work.

We dropped in for the first time while having a trip down memory lane in the area. There was a good selection of beer. The person behind the bar was lovely and friendly, as were the customers sitting near us. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Spent a few hours here attending a wake, The staff was AMAZING! The food was AMAZING!

Can be quiet, very quaint and proper beachy feel. Great real cider choices. Bands play and can then get busy. My favourite pub. Can't comment on food, never tried, not even sure if they do.

Been here a few times now. A wonderful old fashioned pub with a garden. The best visit yet was today. The 14th Charity Festival. Great atmosphere, great live bands, great cider. Will be back for more.

Lovely little local pub. Staff and patrons very friendly. Loved the cherry beer. Had to have 2 pints. The cheese and ham toasties just hit the spot for us too.

Crowded and cosy, but a great atmosphere.

Proper pub with live music most Sundays. Don't expect anything fancy just a great atmosphere and all round well run boozer.

Real ale was top notch and the wide range of ciders looked very interesting.

Popped in for the Sunday roast at short notice, had a lovely roast chicken dinner, great value and the staff were very helpful. Nice friendly atmosphere.

This is a tucked away traditional "local" with well kept beer and friendly staff

Sunday lunch here was nothing short of awesome 👌🏼 Couldn't fault it in any way. 12 of us had the full works all pipping hot with lashings and lovely gravy.

Food occasional but good and tasty. Park in Morrisons and walk over. Great ale and cider

Great little pub. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice little fire, warm feel about the place, quirky little pub, worth a visit. Didn't try the food. But it looked so good that we will definitely be returning to try it out. We arrived just a little too late, and they had stopped serving, live music 🎶 about to set up as we were leaving. Would of liked to of stayed, will plan better next time, we were on our bikes and it was starting to turn dark.

We go in the Dock tavern from time to time and have always found a good atmosphere and plesent staff

A great basic pub with food and some nice beers. We arrived just after 12, when it opened, and already there were several people in there, one tucking into a nice lunch with a beer. A great welcome and a quiet atmosphere, but everyone is happy to say hello so it feels so comfortable. I had a toasted sandwich with lettuce and crisps on the side and my friend had a ham and tomato sandwich. Both were very nice. Good selection of beers and also some nice whisky behind the bar means that I will be back soon.

Best little tavern in Gorleston-on-sea. Great for live music and good choice of Ales.

Love this pub. My late dad introduced me too it,every time I visit gorleston it's a must.

Lovely proper pub. Excellent real ales, friendly staff and quick service. Convivial atmosphere. Can be crowded easily because of limited space but makes for a cosy feeling.

I love this pub. Every time we go we end up chatting to people. It’s such a friendly atmosphere and some lovely guest beers and ciders too.

Gets packed for bandnights, but good atmosphere...pity stage wasn't more central...

The dock tavern is a great pub serving lovely ales and ciders also a good choice of other drinks are available I'll look forward to visiting the dock tavern when on holiday again in the area.

Been ages since I was in Gorleston and can't remember on the life of me what pub I visited but the memories are fond. Knew a "gibbon" there once.

This is a great little pub well worth finding tucked in between Gorleston high street and the River Yare, good choice of fairly priced ales enjoyed by convivial locals. As a Yarmouth lad I'm always happy to cross the river for a visit, the food looks tempting too.

Always a great choice of cask ales and choice always changing . Lunchtime meals are pub grub but all good quality no bagged microwave meals here !!

The Harv's were amazing. Staff Amanda and Adam are brilliant
