This is not a 4.6 out 5 cafe. It is a 5 out of 5 cafe! The food is gorgeous, I’ve have roast dinners, breakfast and curries here. All 1st class, the roast lamb was amazing.Lovely staff, you can see they take it seriously.

First time coming and will certainly be back!!!

Excellent value for money, staff there very friendly and helpful..to be honest you would not find a better place to eat in wgc. Prices have recently gone up a bit, but not too much and you now have to pay for coffee with the set breakfasts. Tea is still free. Anyway, I still consider this to be one of the best places to eat in WGC.

One of the best cafes I've eaten in and I've eaten in quite a few. Food is fresh and breakfasts are not greasy. The staff are friendly too.

Popped in for breakfast. Was busy yet food was reasonably quick. Would happily recommend to a friend! (Sensible money as well for the area which is wild)

Myself and my friends visited this Cafe the other morning. It had good promise but fell a bit flat for me. The service was fine but it didn’t feel very welcoming/friendly. I had an omelette with salad, the salad was pickled in vinegar..it just wasn’t very pleasant at all (and I love most salads). The omelette was incredibly bland but it did look nice and the tomato sauce was very vinegary. Considering it cost over £6 it definitely wasn’t worth it. The cafe was clean and the seating was fine. My friends food looked ok, so maybe I might give the cafe another go if I’m ever in the area.

Food is great, staff are lovely by far the best cafe in Welwyn/Hatfield but please please replace the child high chair as the straps have now been cut off which has made it even more unsafe. My child is constantly sliding out the bottom which will result in her smacking her head on the way out.

Always great to take the team for lunch, the mixed kebabs are on a different level. Great service which is always with a smile.

Great 'greasy spoon' cafe. Big portions, great value for money, quick service from good staff. Only problem is they do close for holidays quite often. Tried to go last week (early Aug '23) & sadly closed again. Message on door didnt say when they are next open, only "closed for 6 or 7 weeks"

Always welcomed with a smile by the woman at the till. Such a pleasant little cafe and food is to die for, probably one of the bests breakfast in WGC!

Definitely one of the best cafes I have been to over the years. The variety they offer and the quality of the ingredients, it makes sense they are busy as they always are. The portions are generous and the speed of the service is very appreciated.

Have visited here several times with colleagues, the food is always fresh and tasty and my colleagues visit here everyday. This place gets remarkably busy so if visiting at peak times be patient it's worth the wait. My only niggle would be the possible to fast service in clearing your plates off the table often while others in your group are still eating. The staff are however fantastic and always friendly even under pressure in their busy times.

I took my lad out for breakfast on his birthday, during the Easter holidays. My first time in the café and was surprised to see how busy it was. Managed to find a table and took a few minutes to look at the menu. Ordered one of the bigger breakfasts which was reasonably priced. Food came out in good time and all of the staff were very friendly.

Lovely cafe. Done fencing works at the site along the road from it & we are all completed now. Real shame as we enjoyed a months worth of lunches in here. Well priced & quality food.

In Welwyn for a course. Been here every day and not been disappointed once. Really good service, portions sizes and food quantity. Highly recommend

Good breakfast! Plenty of choice, food was hot, tasty and well received. Wait time was a little long with hungry children. Cafe is clean, friendly staff and okay parking. Prices were pretty average. Will come back in the future.

Its great to have this cafe back up and running again. This cafe is the gem of Welwyn Garden City, superb food and service and a great team of people who are welcoming and offer a quick and friendly service, whether its for dining indoors, outside or collection. I will be good back regularly as it offers the best quality breakfast in WGC.

The food and service was OK and all great value for money. So OK in a good way, I would happily stop off here again but would not go out of my way to visit

If you don't work in the industrial area it serves or have reason to visit one of the nearby businesses, you'd be unlikely to know the Tewin Road Cafe existed - I certainly didn't until I spotted it mentioned on TA as I looked for somewhere new to eat in WGC.The sat nav took us straight there as we planned a short stop before hitting the town centre just to check it out.It was a bit early to tackle a full plate but around us various types in high-vis jackets and workclothes were tucking in - portions are very generous, the menu features familiar fry-ups as well as lots of specials with a Mediterranean feel, and what we saw coming out of the kitchen - combined with the very keen prices from top to bottom - mean we will certainly back to pick up a knife and fork in the near future.As it was, we were more than satisfied with the best cup of coffee we've had in weeks, smooth and full-flavoured Delta, and also very attractively priced.

All the staff are lovely. Three of us went and we all really enjoyed our breakfasts. had tea from a tea pot and lovely tea cups.

We placed a large lunch order to collect for the office and it was the first time I'd eaten from the Cafe. I had a jacket potato with tuna & mayo. It was lovely, a large portion with lovely side salad. I would definitely recommend to place to others

We have been here many many times. Yet every time we have food here the waitresses attempt to take either our plates or 1/4 filled cup of coffee, thinking it’s finished. We have pulled this up with the boss and yet it continues when he isn’t on site. Overall the food is great and worth every penny but the service of staff is somewhat disappointing.

This cafe is an excellent find, The food is of very good quality and freshly prepared daily, the kitchen is pen plan so you can see what is going on, nothing hidden. Food comes out quickly and good size portions. The staff are friendly polite and very helpful, telephone service is excellent always ready and on time, a bonus if you are busy, go there most days when in town, never been a let down... Recommend it 100%

I waited nearly 30 minutes for a breakfast , the room was busy but as I was on my own I'd have thought they could have got a basic brekkie out before that ...

Never realised where it was so popped in other morning , had beans and egg on toast with a latte . Spot on , proper nice bread not cheap rubbish , and a lovely coffee in a proper coffee mug . Will defo be back

Used to go here for lunch on Saturdays around 2 years ago. I hadn’t been in a while but was happy to find they still do amazing food, at a good price with nice big portions! I love the chicken kebab here! Staff are always friendly and the place is clean and tidy.

Friendly family run premises and the staff are very obliging, nothing is too much trouble... Quercky surroundings and superb food.

Well worth every penny, can not beat it sets you up for the day. Very clean and can not fault the staff and don't be put off by the parking as it is limited.

Deliberately overcharged my labourer and lucky we noticed, also day before the food came out half cooked! Poor service poor food, watch your change

Great place for the traditional full English, lots of variations available. Serves lunch - burgers, curry, Shepard’s pie & specials board. Car park is small making parking tricky.

After a day out in the cold this was a welcome break, good selection of food and the specials are great, all the usual breakfasts. They offer salad with all meals which is different but good. Cash and credit cards taken.

First visit to this establishment, parking was a bit difficult as this area serves a lot of the rush from the various business estates & workers but once inside found it easy to locate a seat. A good menu choice for breakfast & lunch served by friendly helpful staff. Cafe is lovely & clean with quick service if visiting in your lunch hour. Prices reasonable, enjoyed the coffees too. Would visit again & recommend.

I have tried many "greasy spoons" all around WGC but this is the best. Many different breakfasts available for all appetites as well as catering for custom requests.

Ordered food, and observed staff preparing. Food was routinely handled with bare hands, often by multiple people. None of the girls preparing food had hair covered, bald headed chef wearing no headwear (no charge for the added sweat to your bacon butty!). Premises displays a food hygiene rating of 5, but would not have achieved this today.

Use this cafe two or three times a week and love it. Food selection is good. Big old full English which will fill you up, right up to the chicken kebab which is delicious. Staff are really friendly and it's always busy.

I regularly have my breakfast here, where you can have anything from a slice of toast to a full English breakfast. I know I can also buy freshly made sandwiches or enjoy hot food. Great tasting food, great service, great prices
