Didn’t eat on this occasion but do a lot. Awesome place, Alex VBK is an absolute gem and made our night more enjoyable. He was able to have a laugh and helped create an amazing atmosphere. Thank you for helping to celebrate my birthday! Also, great magician!! 😂 thanks man

We arrived mid-afternoon, and not realising they were closing early, proceeded to order lunch for us and our small person. They didn't tell us and let us eat - it was only partway through our meal we realised as the place emptied and the sign on the door mysteriously turned to closed. If we had known / realised, we wouldn't have put them to the trouble. But we were glad we were able to stay because the service was friendly and the food was delicious and filling. And even more special, one of the servers played games and did magic with our little girl, which she thoroughly enjoyed and has been trying to recreate ever since. A lovely place to eat. We will definitely come again - perhaps this time we will pay attention to the signs!

We have enjoyed the Sunday lunch at Morston Hall twice in the last three weeks and have booked again for next month! Just sometimes you get to experience a meal that is absolute value for money. Morston Hall are now doing Sunday lunch for £50. This is a Michelin Star restaurant and they offer a three course meal for £50 - a bargain. The setting is great. You enjoy lunch in a lovely conservatory with all of the little touches that you expect such as bread and canapes. Then on to a three course lunch which is cooked to those Michelin star levels. Service is pleasant and efficient. I could go on to describe all the dishes but do yourself a favour and book it yourself! I reiterate when do you get the chance to enjoy a three course meal at a Michelin Star restaurant for £50? Well done to Galton and the team - you deserve to be fully booked every Sunday - just make sure that we can always get a table though!

Me and my husband went for a meal on Easter Sunday tea time , we both fancied fish and chips , the chips were overdone , the fish was of a decent size but unfortunately the batter was soggy and greasy , we stayed at the campsite up the road but sadly won’t return here for food , and the manager was as grumpy as hell ! I thought hospitality was struggling at the moment well this guy may need to go to a brush up school to entice customers to return ! Shane because the pub was a little gem 👍

Having done the brunch there twice before, I can’t say this was third time lucky. Just too tight and slow with the drinks. A party of 8 and after an initial two bottles of Prosecco spread down the table they wouldn’t give us any more, only by the glass and that was classed as a round. Been trying to think where else does this .. oh that’s it - NO WHERE! Half the time we were “dry” - I can only assume the drinks were been poured and carried down from the Wetherspoons as the place was dead, yet each round still took 25 minutes to arrive. Told we could get vodka and coke, yet the coke looked like it had been defrosted and squeezed from a Mr Freeze ice pop (the rola cola one that no-one likes) To give them their due, they were consistent in that the staff still walk past looking like they are on a stealth mission and excel in not giving any eye contact in the hopes you don’t ask them for anything 😂 I have already contacted them prior to me posting this for their answer and it just said that because it’s a two hour brunch they have a responsibility for people to drink responsibly. Not a “bottomless” brunch then is it.

Popped in for a carvery after hearing great things about this place! Fully recommend 👌 the food was piping hot with a great service, the service was top draw and the guy in the carvery deck was full of banter. Great atmosphere throughout and high cleaning standards. Fully recommend and a will be visiting again 😀

We arrived at about 10am for what we thought would be a lovely breakfast. The place only had another two tables with people on. We were greeted by a lovely lady and taken to our seat. We knew exactly what we wanted, a full breakfast. My husband usually has a big one and me a small, thinking a full breakfast for nearly £11 would come with two of everything. They didn’t offer a small one and I can see why, there was hardly anything on the breakfast. (1 sausage, 2 bacon, small portion of scrambled egg which was over cooked, mushrooms floating in grease, loads of beans and 1 slice of toast!!) I ordered cheese on toast with bacon for nearly £9. I got one slice of toast and 2 bacon plonked on top. The tea was lovely to be fair but had to wait half an hour for the tea to come and 45 minutes for the food. We won’t be returning far too expensive for the amount you got, we came away hungry!

Sunday menu was really tasty, great value. Staff were very friendly. And the food came out quickly despite the restaurant being fully booked (which is a promising sign)! Lovely to sit outside, and eat and drink in the sun. Would recommend, it was ace!
