Great service from start to finish. It was a very busy afternoon as the football was on. This did not affect our experience. A member of the floor staff noticed us within a couple of minutes of our arrival we were early and she advised us our table wasn’t quite ready which was fine and we went to get a drink from the bar. She came to find us at the time we had booked for and the service from when we were seated was so good. Very attentive nothing was too much trouble. Roast dinners beautiful. Very lovely afternoon.

Friday afternoon catch up with friends. Had a great burger and chips, really tasty. It was happy hour on the drinks too, so excellent value. Lots of tvs around to watch sports, and very comfortable seating. Only saw one member of staff who was serving drinks and taking/bringing food orders, and she was friendly and efficient, coping well as it wasn't too busy. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit (5 of us) and would definitely recommend to friends.

Really delicious food and great service from Ruby. I visited with a couple of friends midweek and had never been here before. It is quite a sporty place with football on but wasn’t rowdy and a nice atmosphere. We ordered about 9 dishes from the small plates that we didn’t think we’d get through but everything was absolutely delicious. I’d be hard pushed to pick out recommendations as it was all lovely but I’d say Chilli beef, whipped goats cheese and the surprise hit for me was the cauliflower barges. Ruby looked after us brilliantly. I will definitely be back

Food was good. Service excellent. Mire oc a sports pub with plenty of screens for viewing football. Seating not particularly suited for disabled. High tables or steps up to lower/ normal tables. Not ideal for disabled persons or wheelchair users through front access which did have a step up,level and then down again.

This fantastic gem of a place is easy to find with parking available off the main road right outside. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by a team of extremely friendly staff who can’t do enough to make your visit as pleasant as possible. With 9 tv’s well positioned you are never sat out of view of any sporting event being shown. Other entertainment includes live singers and an open mike night. When there isn’t any entertainment on the bar is filled with well chosen music setting the perfect environment. The bar is well stocked boasting an adequate selection of spirits, beers. and wine. The food is second to none, every time I’ve eaten here I’ve been extremely impressed. Seasoned to perfection, bursting with flavour and presented perfectly. On my last visit I had the bacon cheese burger and my friend had the ribs, absolutely beautiful ! If you’re in the area don’t miss the opportunity to experience what this place has to offer.

Great spot to watch live sport and have some casual food. Good value for money and sport is prioritised, which doesn’t always happen.

What a fantastic restaurant! I ordered the ‘Pan-seared Shrimp’ and the ‘Ribeye’ steak and highly recommend both, they were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing!

This establishment is the opposite of the TARDIS - it's much smaller on the inside than it looks from the outside. It's a sports fan's utopia, with a dazzling array of TV screens, each of which competes for customer attention. Beer is restricted to keg offerings, but there's a reasonable choice at reasonable prices, particularly during "happy hour(s)". The food was ok, if slightly overpriced, service was excellent. It was busy; the clientele were typical sports-bar punters (whatever that means). The atmosphere was pleasant during our Monday afternoon visit.

This was the best Sunday Roast I have had, the meat was beautifully tender and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Looking forward to my next visit.

A warm welcome to accommodate Mum’s wheelchair from Ruby who was attentive & professional throughout our meal. Fab menu particularly for GF choices so this relaxed us even more as usually we struggle. The food was delicious & beautifully presented -great value - the team really added to my Mum’s birthday - thank you all.

Came back to 21st Amendment, had the roast chicken dinner, my mouth was watering before I began eating (just at the sight of the food). The food was sooo tasty (again), couldn't fault the service or the atmosphere (very friendly & welcoming). We will be coming back again!!!

We chose the buttermilk chicken tenders, and ribeye steak with fries and peppercorn sauce. The chicken was so tender with a lovely crispy coating, well cooked. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and succulent. Will definitely go again!!

Been every week for lunch for month or so. Very quiet but really enjoyed toasties, chips were very tasty too. This week menu had changed. Really struggled to find something we liked, everything seemed to have a Korean sauce! Opted for 2 x burgers and chips and battered sea bass and chips. Black skin on fish made batter slimy, so my son wouldn't eat it, so I swapped with him. Wasn't impressed! My husband sent his burger back as it was very pink when he bit into it, only to be told that is how a burger is supposed to be. We weren't charged for it, but left disappointed. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting again.

Regular visitors to Hoylake and this was our first visit here, really enjoyed it. Nice service, good food and the cocktails were fab too. We will definitely visit again next time we are in town.

As always, any such outlet is reliant on the staff therein...one i love, today? second server Lacking in a smile 4 a customer. Such is life!

Fabulous tasty food, great atmosphere , great service 5*

In a way I’m quite sad to not be able to give 5 stars as this is a local business and I want it to succeed. However, our Sunday roast main course really wasn’t as good as we had expected. Our starters were lovely, very hot and clearly just cooked. No problem at all, very tasty and so we were really looking forward to our roast dinners. But they were only lukewarm. The only bit that was hot were the roast potatoes, which were lovely. But the meat, the gravy and the remaining vegetables weren’t. Such a shame as our desserts again were lovely. So this along with the very strange way drinks were served (one at a time with minutes between each drink) means that we will be staying with our current go to restaurant for our Sunday roast. Such a disappointment given other reviews are all so positive.

Went here for open mic night on a Sunday. We didn't eat but there were plenty of people who were enjoying what looked like nice meals. The place isn't as big inside as I was expecting and there is definitely a younger crowd here. The place was very noisy with groups of young men obviously enjoying themselves.

Great selection of light bites(tapas) pork tacos, fries, Korean chicken recommended.

Food is very good but not a pleasant place to be at lunchtime. Very loud music which we asked to be turned down. Builders shouting across the restaurant, ladders and tools left out. I know they have to do maintenance work but they shouldn't have paying customers in whilst it's going on. Shame really.

My husband and I visited yesterday for the Sunday roast, I had the lamb, which fell apart and my husband had the belly pork. The vegetables were gorgeous and beautifully presented. My husband had the Korean fried chicken to start and I had the brownie with ice cream for dessert. This is our go to place for the Sunday roast, it’s so tasty.

We visit 21st amendment regularly as their roast dinners are Top Notch every time. Quality of the food is exceptional and the staff are lovely. It is a place you simply must try!

The food was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection, the pepper sauce was out of this world and my partners fish and chips was beautifully cooked, batter was very light and crispy and the chips where nice and crunchy but super fluffy on the inside. Food came super fast and the service was excellent. Brill value for money and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful service from Dawn, explained the menu and the specials. Food was freshly cooked and amazing flavours from the tapas style dishes. We will definitely be coming back!!

The best spot in Hoylake. Food is absolutely amazing - I had small plates and cocktails. The menu changes regularly including steak night, 3 for £15 on small plates etc. Staff are lovely - and lots of live music. 100% reccomend!

Called here while playing a round of golf, had a fab lunch, great food , great service and a reasonable price all in all great value will be calling in here on a regular basis. The other bonus is it’s dog friendly so the pooch can tag along as well.

Very poor food. The bar isn't anything special. The food on the normal menu is actually tapas sized even though not stated. Food is nothing special and not worth the money.

A great restaurant which we can recommend for tapas. The tapas menu was varied and interesting with the choice including meat, vegetable and fish options. Each and every choice we made was delicious with generous portions. Presentation was great and the food all served hot. We found the pricing to be very reasonable. Asparagus with pesto - fresh and tasty; chilli chicken bursting with flavour and fresh, perfectly cooked King prawns in the fettuccine. We were so inspired by the flavours that we decided to have dessert as an extra. The chocolate brownie was served in a little cast iron and although the serve appeared quite small it was certainly all we could manage as it was rich with a crunchy crust and topped with ice cream. We were all very happy chappies! Our waitress, Dawn, was lovely, warm and accommodating. She was the solo wait staff and did her very best to keep her customers served promptly and thus happy - goal achieved! Thanks Dawn. When next in the vicinity we will certainly not hesitate to return to this restaurant.

We regularly visit and usually have a selection of the tapas or specials that Chef Sam Creedon puts on. The quality of food is exceptional and far exceeds anything on offer in the local region. Outstanding fresh produce and very well put together. Very lucky to have something like this so close to home.

Four of us went for Father’s Day ( a treat from our son and daughter-in-law). There was a special Father’s Day menu as well as the normal menu to choose from. Food was excellent delicious and plentiful. We had spicy chicken wings and king prawn starters melt in the mouth lamb beautiful tasty chicken and rib eye steak accompanied by a variety of delicious vegetables - carrots cauli red cabbage roast potatoes and all the trimmings all washed down with a delightful Rioja. Service was excellent and staff very attentive. Give the 21st a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Weatherspoons-esque. Edit: I went on a bank hol weekend and it was dirty with glasses and spills everywhere, really cheesy DJ playing obnoxiously loud and bad music. Could easily have mistaken it for a weatherspoons, so no it wasn't a troll. 3 stars for very helpful staff tho.

Had a selection of the tapas and can say it was really good. Steak was well cooked and very tender. Flat breads were very tasty with lovely griddled asparagus. Nice setting as well in the sunshine 🌞

Great spot for fab food and cocktails. Great for a night out also with music and DJs on weekends. The outside area is a real sun trap!

Had a lovely lunch here early this afternoon. It was nice and quiet, only a couple of other people in as it hadn’t long opened for the day. The lady that served us was lovely and very accommodating, she let us know about their new menu and all the specials that were available for the day. Me and my partner got the 3 for £17 tapas deal each, it was hard to pick only 3 as they all sounded delicious. All the dishes were presented beautifully and tasted as good as they looked, everything was so appetising I forgot to take pictures of them! Also their rosemary salt fries are heavenly 😋 Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back to taste the other tapas dishes we didn’t get this time 😁

I went to the restaurant for my birthday. The food, staff and atmosphere was excellent. I will definitely be going back there and can’t thank everyone involved enough for making my birthday such a special experience. To top it off the football was being shown as well in multiple TV screens

I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to this one time !!!We visited here for my husbands birthday, as many of our friends had recommended it to us . From when we arrived to when we left the experience was fab x The staff were great they gave us a glass of fizz as it was a birthday and were very attentive and friendly . THEN CAME THE FOOD It was unreal everything was presented beautiful and the taste of everything from the Korean fried chicken and the Cheshire cheddar an leek croquette, even their chunky chips are must. Guys if you visit here I assure you , you will not be disappointed x can’t wait for the next time Thankyou
