The best restaurants in Wirral North West

Stumbled across this place while here working for the day. Super food and the loveliest, friendliest staff I’ve met in a long time. Well worth a visit.

You guys are the best ! Travelled over from the dark side (Yorkshire) for lunch with family Just the nicest/friendliest cafe to visit If Leeds get promoted, we’ll be over more !!

Every dish a masterpiece of taste and visual beauty.We dined for 5 hour.Every minute was wort it. So proud to have a restaurant like this Locally.

This Bistro is a total gem which offers a wide variety of beautifully, freshly cooked food. The staff are so cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will certainly be visiting again.

Carole and her staff were wonderful at making us welcome, great flat white coffee and Carole made 4 of her lovely cakes for my aunty Mary’s memorial service last Saturday with a few extra huge chocolate cookies! Walked into Strummers this morning to be greeted to a lovely young lady who gave us a warm welcome. I ordered a small breakfast whilst Carol had a toasted cheese and onion sandwich. The quality of my breakfast was top notch. G and C from Tredegar

This was our first visit to Oxa. My sister lives locally and had been wanting to try it for some time. The atmosphere was perfect, background music was lovely and the staff were helpful and approachable. The chefs - Jake and Connor - delivered excellence at every course and Alex provided great service with a smile. I am coeliac but every care was taken to see that my meal was as good as everyone else's. Believe me, this is not usual when catering for a dietary requirement. The gluten free bread was divine, and Jake even gave me the recipe which I will certainly try. We will certainly be back, and would recommend it to those foodies who love to be surprised by every course. Top marks Oxa. It's a gem.

Went here based on the tripadvisor reviews - and the food pictures! Food looked pretty good. And it WAS good. Great food and fantastic staff, 10/10 would go again without hesitation.

The food here is top notch. Our chickpea starter was so flavoursome I could have happily had it as a main. All the food is cooked to order and they are happy to talk you through the menu when you arrive and vary the heat of the dish if desired. There's a good drinks list and it's very reasonably priced. The service is friendly and welcoming and it all makes for a great dining experience. This is a restaurant that deserves to do well. We'll be back!

My wife booked us a meal on New Years Eve 2024 and everything was excellent! The waiting staff, the drinks and the meal were all first class! Could not recommend this high enough!! A fantastic night out - well worth experiencing 😁
