Fantastic refreshing sorbets - just what was needed on a hot day 👍

Amazing gelato/sorbet, interesting flavours and combinations. Coffee is great also.

We were visiting Leasowe and just fancied an ice cream. A quick Google search and found this hidden gem in the most peculiar spot! I went for the dark chocolate, if you're a chocoholic like me then this is a must! Sensational! Great if you have kids as there is a park just over the road, parking can be challenging as it is in a residential area.

Lovely local ice cream and coffee parlour, serving a daily changing array of sorbets and ice creams - with staple favourites such as the delicious dark chocolate. The larger tubs to takeaway are also a great option for the freezer. Service always with a smile! Keep up the great work.

I had the nectarine sorbet and the orange and Jasmine sorbet and it was amazing. The ladies where lovely and friendly and the place was clean and well presented. Will go again

Probably the best ice cream shop you will come across in the most unlikely of places. The daily and rotating flavours are so unique and clean tasting you could visit every week.

Amazing ice cream! Wish I lived closer! Happened upon this ice cream shop accidentally on a visit to hoy lake. I wasn’t in the mood for ice cream but the shop front was very inviting and we saw a man leave with a cup. Couldn’t resist as I knew it would be special. The flavours were very interesting and inventive. The quality is better than I’ve ever had. The flavour and intensity don’t fade. It lasts from the first spoonful to the end of the pot. I will be making special trips to hoylake from now on whenever I fancy an ice cream!

The best ice cream I have ever tasted.. I had the white chocolate & honeycomb and the carrot cake ice cream together in a tub!! Pure loveliness .. I’m coming back so I can buy some for my freezer!! And reasonably priced and recyclable packaging.. what a find !

This family run business is an absolute gem! If you haven’t been, then you’re missing out. Beautiful ice cream and delightful service, with a friendly and personable atmosphere, every single time . My wife and son have coeliacs and there is never any concern over cross-contamination. There are so many delicious options in their regularly changing menu. The place is spotless and the flavours are amazing. It is a must visit place on the Wirral.

Churn & Chill is my family’s absolute favourite place to go on the Wirral. The gelato is unreal and we love the option to try either new exciting flavours or the regular favourites whenever we go. Phoebe and Chris are so friendly every time we visit, their loveliness shines through in the quality of their gelato. The shop is always spotless too. I recommend Churn & Chill to everyone I know and going there has become a Saturday tradition in our house.

Great gelato, freshly made each day, plenty of flavours and some dairy free too. The sorbets are spectacular in fact. Happy smiley staff and great coffee also. Try it you will not be disappointed 10/10 highly recommend

Delicious ice cream, fresh and home made. You can get small, medium or large tubs and mix flavours, which vary daily. I love the lemon sorbet, fig leaf and honey, and chocolate and sea salt ice creams

I love the fact that we found this place today on a local walk. Set off the main high street, well worth a slight detour. Such great flavours, lovely staff and very allergy aware. No cross contamination of flavours as they use one scoop per flavour, not one scoop for each flavour that is dipped in water between flavours. Will definitely be back. Had the dark chocolate and sea salt, white chocolate and honeycomb and fig leaf and honey. Oh and 5 star food hygiene rating too. What more could anyone want

Gorgeous hand made ice cream with a mix of different choices made daily. Some of the best ice cream I've tasted. Bring the kids and eat your tasty treats across the road in the small local play area on a sunny day. Perfect

I love that there are vegan options including a regular chocolate and sea salt. The other flavours are really adventurous and they do the best hot chocolate! Owners are lovely too :)

Fantastic properly made ice cream. The base milk flavour is worth it alone, especially in an afogato. But they also do a varied and changing range of great flavours and sorbets. Also have compostable/reusable take away boxes for portions at home. Nice little park opposite for kids too

Absolutely the best ice cream ever! Interesting selection and always amazing. We had dark chocolate with sea salt (my new favourite) and white chocolate with honeycomb (honeycomb is just yummy). A little hidden gem. Perfect treat after a long sunny beachy walk. Very friendly helpful staff.

Just amazing! The taste of all the flavours is delicious. And they also change a few flavours, so you can enjoy new flavours on a regular basis. Some flavours are vegan.

My first visit even though I live here. Liked everything about it. Great service, very friendly. As for the ice creams, wow. I bought a selection of 4 tubs, every flavour was a winner! I recommend it very highly. Will be back!

We go here at every opportunity, and take our friends too. Sometimes we drag friends over to ours just for the excuse to go for a gelato with them.

A board shows you the flavours available for that day. We had tubs trying three. All very tasty. Husband particularly liked the Berry Crumble. Quite a few locals came in while we were there, nice to see a small business being supported. Wishing them all the best.

We stop off in Hoylake any chance we can get!! Phoebe and Chris are so welcoming, and the flavours on offer are really something special! They have a great range which is seasonal and always homemade, catering for vegans as well as dairy fans. The coffee is amazing, and as well as having one there you can buy beans to take away! Well worth the trip - we only wish they were closer!! The only place we will go for gelato now, so make sure you go if you're near (or far!)

Amazing little place & the ice cream is out of this world

Outstanding, fresh, delicious ice cream made by a delightful mum and daughter team. They make each small batch from scratch and the flavours vary every few days. We found this lovely little local shop by chance and will definitely be back as often as possible. Coffee also excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough. There’s a nice little local park opposite if you have young children.

Don’t believe any of the other reviews here…I am their no 1 fan! Handmade small batch you can really tell it’s made with love and passion by the owners. Flavours change all the time and all are delicious. It’s also nice that the tubs and even the spoons are biodegradable. The artisan coffee is also delicious. A very well thought out offering, they deserve all the success they can get. 🙌

Was very lucky to be able to try the Earl Grey gelato. Captured the flavors perfectly and not too sweet either. A big win. Would be happy to enjoy this one again!!!

I am a returning customer to Churn & Chill, and I cannot say enough about them. I have just had a Tahitian vanilla and mango sorbet tub, it was a taste treat beyond compare. If you are nearby go and try one two or three flavours as it will be well worth it.

The best coffee I have tasted in ages and gelato to die for. So much so, Churn and Chill has become a regular detour for me on my commutes between mid-Wales and the north east of England. That baclava gelato I enjoyed on my last visit...out of this world! Phoebe and Chris...you are simply brilliant!

At Churn & Chill you will find small batch artisanal gelato, and the flavours go fast. The majority of ice cream parlours make their ice cream from industrial mixes with other ingredients thrown into the mix, but at Churn & Chill every flavour is made from scratch and you can really tell the difference! Have you ever tasted Fig leaf & honey anywhere? Lovingly handmade flavours you won’t find anywhere else and over half the batches made are suitable for vegans too. Churn & Chill is a hidden gem, go and find it and treat yourself. They sell coffee too which is probably spectacular but I go for the ice cream.

Great discovery of the week. This ice cream is just amazing. Visited twice. Choc and hazelnut / Tahitian vanilla a magic combo. The two lovely women producing such amazing ice cream in the old violin shop by the park deserve our support. Definitely recommend.

New place just opened in Hoylake. Phoebe and Chris are the very friendly owners of Churn and Chill, where they make amazing gelato and sorbets from scratch. They have some amazing flavours and plenty of vegan options. They are as creative with their decor as they are with their gelato, it’s a beautiful place to visit.
