Sat outside yesterday with my son got pizza and a Calzone. Lovely food and great friendly staff.

We were in west kirby for the day and popped in for lunch well worth a visit we both had a starter from the specials board and a main from the main menu two ciders and only £45 rate it excellent

Very enjoyable. Very quiet but it was a Tuesday lunchtime. Great service, lovely food, Tiramisu a real challenge! Will return.

We had high hopes as the reviews were fantastic. Really basic fare, my starter and main were just about OK, my partner chose the liver, ouch! It looked grey and was in an unknown sauce that was anything but Italian. We bought a bottle of Sancere as a treat , almost £40, it was from the 'Morrisons finest' range that was spilt on pouring twice by the waiter!!! Clearly a super popular restaurant as it was packed but we won't be back.

The food was very good, large portions, you could get starter size portions on a lot of meals. The only downside was the lack of a accessible toilet.

Three of us came here because it was a lovely sunny evening in July, and we haven't really explored much around the Westkirby area before. As it was Monday, some of the venues were closed. So we decided to try "Andre's" as it was open and the settings were quite pleasant. The food we ordered was nice, fresh and tasted just right. They had my favourite Whitebait on the menu 😄. I had the BBQ Ribs, the meat was tender and the sauce was indeed homemade as it was not too sweet nor sour like most bottled ones do. The pasta and the pizza were also great according to my friends. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the service was quite fast and excellent.

A very unassuming restaurant that has some of the best food West Kirby and The Wirral has to offer. I have been 4 or 5 times and every single time, I have been blown away by the quality of food. Every single item has been amazing, from pizza and pasta to roast dinners and lamb shank. If you go here, you will not be disappointed. Then only negative is it has the atmosphere of an unpopular English pub/restaurant in a Spanish holiday town. It's not unpleasant, it's just nothing special and it really is a shame as the food is really that good, that it deserves some decor and ambience to do it justice. The staff are downright fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, they care so much about their customers. Just go to Andres....seriously...now....go...GO!

Absolutely brilliant food and drinks, very clean and friendly staff. We will visit again. The accompanying music was from italian and spanish repertoire.

Friendly staff, food always cooked perfectly and always clean. Usually fairly busy and good value. Great range of classic dishes, but would love to see something new every now and again.

Very disappointing..just not great food ...this restaurant needs to taste its dishes befire sending to table. One meal returned to kitchen not touched Would not return or recommend this restaurant which is such a pity that food lets it down.

We took my mum for Mother's Day lunch,we haven't been for a few years but was very disappointed. Seated in conservatory which was freezing, waited ages for a menu and even longer for a gluten free one. Service was awful, food mediocre, we had Sunday roast and the choice of veg was rubbish, drink prices are ridiculous, all in all very disappointed.

The best meal out that I have had for years. The food was so beautiful and hot that we are planning to return. I fully recomend this restaurant and will definitely come back soon. Thank you for making our meal perfect. 🍕 🇮🇹 🥣

We visit Andre's a few times per month and have never had anything other than fine food & wine as well as a superb service. Whenever we choose a "classic" Italaian dish we are always blown away at how good it tastes compared to other restaurants or our own efforts at home. The specials are delicious too and they always put a seasonal or festive option on there too. I'm reviewing this as a couple today but we've eaten here with our kids many times and there is plenty of choices for any appetite. The wine list is decent and I'd highly recommend the Amarone. My favourite dish changes all the time so it's hard to recommend just one. We have occasionally asked to tweak a dish too and they've always accommodated. So if you want a bit more spice or an ingredient left out its no issue. For us its the best Italian in the area and we've eaten in them all! You'll be amazed at the quality of food and service

Good afternoon. Myself and partner attended your restaurant last night but unfortunately did not have a great experience which was a great shame as we have been before on more than a few occasions. After arriving on time we were taken to our table by a very friendly and helpful gentleman who took our drinks order (1.5 pints of lager & bottle of white wine). We ordered a starter to share and 2 x main courses, the starter arrived within minutes and the main meals minutes after, with very basic vegetables and both mains with the same sauce, which I have not experienced before at Andres. No wine was brought to the table and there was no point in me asking for it as we would not have had time to drink it as we still had our original drinks whilst eating the main course. We decided not to order a desert of coffee and asked for the bill. We arrived at the restaurant at 19.30pm and we had paid the bill and left by 20.10pm , so everything was very rushed and a very disappointing valentines night experience, luckily I checked the bill before paying and we had been charged for the wine which was removed when I queried this. I did mention how disappointed we were twice to the gentleman who brought the card machine and got no answer or apology. A meal with friends on Valentine's Day. This was our first visit to Andre's restaurant but we were impressed by the quality of the food, the service and the ambience.

Took my wife son and elderly mother on a Sunday lunchtime. The food was excellent. Staff friendly, but they did tend to spend more time with their regular customers.

First visit and we were not disappointed. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by Andre and another waiter. The food was delicious. The staff were attentive and we felt very looked after. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back 😊

Nice food if a little pricey now but I think they are in line with elsewhere. The food was nice, well presented and hot. The waiter was very attentive and the manager/owner also checked all was OK. Pretty sure it was spot on really.

Andre’s is always a welcoming place to go. The staff are friendly and courteous. There’s always a relaxed, sociable atmosphere and the food is delicious.

If you want to be judged by the incredibly rude and obnoxious manager (Andre) when you walk through the door go to Andres. If on the other hand you would prefer to be treated equally then go somewhere else! We were greeted incredibly rudely this evening and when I raised this with Andre I was told it was my perception and everyone is treated the same. He then went on to lie about how we entered the restaurant (saying we had no booking) and when told that I expected to be welcomed with respect he told me not to come back because he’s too old to be told what to do. This shows exactly the kind of an arrogant person he is. Unable to accept that maybe he was wrong and his only answer it to ban you. Needless to say I won’t ever step foot in the place again and would suggest anyone else who likes to be treated with respect do the same!

Ordered Calzone fungi and Primavera Pizza. They were really good.

Never had a bad meal here, always try something different, and it's always been excellent food. We went on New Years Eve on this occasion and it was very busy, but even with the staff being extremely busy, they still all had a smile on their face and couldn't do enough for everyone, I believe they are what makes it the place it is. The food was beautiful, my first time trying the lasagna here and it was amazing!

Been here a few times and have never had a bad meal. Went on New Years Eve and it was very busy as you would expect but they still managed to deliver excellent service and amazing food. It's hands down my favourite place to go in town, I always try to go for something different and it's always amazing. Think the staff makes it the place that it is as they are always happy and can't do enough for you.

I went to Andre's as a treat for the first time in years, joining a friend to take advantage of the early evening half price starter & mains deal. A waiter came to take my & my dining companion's order no more than 5 minutes after I arrived. We were still exchanging pleasantries at this point, so I stopped immediately to study the menu & make my choices. The food was excellent, as was the atmosphere, but an unforgettable memory for me will be a waitress asking if my friend & I wanted the dessert menu. She was away powdering her nose at the time so I said yes in case she might want something. The waitress came back again before she'd returned to ask if she wanted any dessert, & if so what! Astonished, I said as she had yet to return to the table I couldn't say if she wanted anything or not! I felt very much like a dining second class citizen, with the staff persistently chivvying me & my friend along to get our meals chosen & eaten as quickly as possible so they could take our money & get us out of the door so the more well-heeled full price diners could take our places. So if you're thinking of taking advantage of the early doors deal if your experience is anything like mine bear in mind you'll most likely not be having a terribly relaxed meal, but if you can tolerate that the food is great.

Wonderful meal and attentive staff. Went into small bar area for chill after the meal. So comfy. Nice old fashioned way to be. Wish there were more like here.

Andre's is always 100%. We found it by Googling best pizza in Merseyside, turns out they have won awards! They have mid week deals! They worked out roughly £3 more expensive than Weatherspoons for some pizzas and drinks when I check on-line and you get the full Andre's service 👌 My kids are fussy eaters and they love Andre's. My daughter has started to experiment with food more since eating here. I can't ell this restaurant enough.

The hidden gem of this area. If you like pasta carbonara the right italian way, just wink to waiter, and you be served original carbonara roma, no cream, just eggs, pancetta( bacon), pepper, parmezane. Still creamy, though

Tried Andres as the reviews seemed good. Was expecting authentic Italian food. Pizza no better than a supermarket cook from frozen and so left most of it. Went home for a sandwich. I suppose you have to try new places to find out.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Delicious food. A friend had just recently been back from Italy, and she commented on how the risotto reminded her of her trip and thought it tasted better than when she was in Italy. I'd ordered a creamy pasta with chicken and mushrooms. Huge dish, but oh, so good 😋 Photo is of the home made cheese cake with strawberry. Didn't really think I could fit it in, but oh, so made up I ordered it. A group of 7. Everyone loved it with no complaints. With deals on pasta and pizza on a Wednesday, you can't go wrong. Two shared garlic bread for everyone, main meal, half alcoholic beverages and the others non alcoholic; with all but one enjoying a dessert = average £20 each. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely going there again.

Lovely restaurant. I was slightly disappointed they didn't do the chunky homemade chips I had in there a few years back & that they were frozen chips instead! I am aware this is an Italian but you always have to have a side of chips for the table! Overall though great visit and great staff.

Wonderful meal with my son. We hadn’t booked but were given a lovely table in the conservatory. Fantastic choice on the menu and specials to choose from too. Friendly service delivered by all staff. We felt very looked after. We shared 3 starters, the goats cheese was delicious! We both had carbonara as our main which was absolutely perfect! This was a last minute decision to eat out and I’m so glad we did. What a lovely place and so well run. We will definitely be returning.

Simply the best restaurant and it’s far more than just wonderful Italian food. The bistro menu has steaks, chicken, fish and duck and all cooked perfectly and served with class and excellent attentive service all overseen by Andre himself. The cult vibe of this restaurant takes me back to 70’s and 80’s cosy white tablecloth bistros with great classic and simple cooked food but fresh and tasty. We had scallops and whitebait starters served with a small fresh salad and a main course of prawn tagliatelle and duck a la orange . Both dishes were beautifully cooked and tasty. Tiramisu and chocolate sponge pudding followed by a Limoncello which rounded off a perfect meal and independent restaurant hospitality. Long May Andre’s reign as simply a fabulous restaurant. Well done.

Came in the other night with my fiancé and we were served by a really nice chap. Looked after us all night, was very friendly. I'd love to say what his name was but I honestly don't have a clue. All I can say was he had blonde/white hair if that says anything. Food was lovely, well worth the price! Definitely will be back again.

The best Italian! My favourite food is Italian and I used to go to another place as my usual until I tried Andres. Hands down the best Italian food I’ve tasted. Staff are so friendly and a lovely atmosphere, this is definitely my new regular!

Fantastic place! Amazing service and the pasta portions are mind blowing! I really didn't expect the size of the portion of pasta on a discount night which is Wednesday! We were a table of 8 and starters, main and desserts passing through the table very nicely! Thank you Andre's. Drinks were nice too! My wife love the pink gin and lemonade and we had pints of beer and bottles of wine 210 pounds for a table of 7 adults and 1 children with fantastic atmosphere! Not bad at all! I wish we can go to Andre's every day. Everyone should give it a try. Definitely the best Italian restaurant.

When sailing overnight from Birkenhead to Belfast we have always booked another restaurant close by, on this evening our restaurant of choice was closed so we opted for Andre’s……we may have just found our new restaurant of choice. It is a modern restaurant with an old fashioned authentic feel. The staff were without exception very friendly. The food was excellent, we shared caprese salad to start followed by Spaghetti aglio olio and Ravioli Salmon, all were delicious. The menu is fabulous, you really are spoilt for choice. Highly recommend a visit for great food, service and a very reasonable bill.

Looks very posh but don't be scared. The Andre's Lemonade cocktail is delicious and doesn't taste like alcohol. Can't wait to try the food

Really impressed by Andre's. The food was excellent, a really good menu, and flavoursome food. It had a good vibrant atmosphere and the staff were really good too. We were a party of 8 and we were really well looked after by the great staff, and each of us enjoyed the great food. Can't rate it highly enough & looking forward to returning soon.

Called in for lunch definitely visit again

My starter of Bruschetta was to die for however the farafelle pollo was such a let down. Just pasta in soup with piles of undisolved vegetable stock so mouthful after mouthful of pure salt. Couldn't even finish it. So disappointed decided against desert. Sadly it was also obvious from the uneven temperature that food had been microwaved. Staff also made no enquiries about allergies/dietary needs.
