Took my daughter and her friends to celebrate her 13th Birthday , so 2 tables , one for the girls , one for my wife and step mum. The staff were amazing , welcoming and friendly as always, the food was delicious , they allowed us to serve my wife's home made cake , sing happy birthday etc . Couldn't nor have asked for a better time , so a huge thank you to Est for a brilliant day

Throughout the meal, the staff displayed a distinct lack of warmth and engagement, failing to interact with our children or anticipate our needs. Cuisine: While the starters showed promise with their excellent flavour and presentation, the main course was a disappointment. The breadcrumbed chicken, described on the menu, arrived soggy with oil and bore an uncanny resemblance to a lackluster '80s chicken dipper. It lacked the finesse and quality one would expect from a restaurant of this calibre. Highlights: Tasteful decor and subdued ambiance. Some starters showed promise in terms of flavour and presentation. Low Points: Poor service with a distinct lack of warmth and engagement. Failure to accommodate simple requests and anticipate needs, such as providing a highchair and offering a children's menu. Disappointing main course, particularly the breadcrumbed chicken, which was overly oily and reminiscent of inferior fast food. Left to wait for the bill for nearly 20 minutes and then left again for 30 minutes and had to leave the table and case the staff to pay. Verdict: Overall, Est Italian fell far short of expectations. While the ambiance initially suggested a memorable dining experience, the appalling service and subpar cuisine left a sour taste in our mouths. Despite the potential shown in certain aspects of the meal, the overall experience was marred by a lack of attention to detail and a failure to meet basic standards of hospitality. We left feeling deeply disappointed and are unlikely to return. I would remind the team that Italian Restaurants are famous not only for good food but for the warm and accommodating family experience. I think some staff training would go a long way.

Bottomless Lunch was very good. The food was excellent and the drinks flowed! Our waitress was so lovely. Their afternoon tea is also excellent as is their half price offer I highly recommend this restaurant.

Can I please say a big thank you to all staff who looked after my friends and I last night for my birthday dinner. Though it was really busy and there were 8 of us, the service did not falter. It was quick, efficient and delivered with a smile from all. Excellent cocktails to start, the food was really good, the dessert truffles were to die for and wine prices were not extortionate like some places. We will be back if you will have us. In fact we will be booking for Christmas. Thanks once again.

Excellent food and very good and friendly service. Very good deals on given days, currently Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with 50% discounts on pastas and pizzas. Really good.

We celebrated our friend's birthday by having a Bottomless Lunch at Est last Saturday. Food and drinks were delicious and staff were wonderful. What else is there to say but 'Thank You' for a lovely afternoon!

Went here on a Tuesday evening it has a half-price offer on food. The place was extremely busy, so a reservation is required before 8pm. We die have to wait for quite a time to be greeted and seated, but this was because it was so busy, again a bit of a wait for drinks order and again for food order. We had a sharing starter which was entirely and delicious. Our mains were large and xomprised if mostly pasta rather than the rest I.e prawns mussels etc and therefore such a waste as not possible ro eat all the quantity of pasta, but having said that it was OK.plenty of choice on the menu, staf were pleasant but run off their feet restaurant is large and decor attractive.

Went for bottomless brunch yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and plentiful as where the cocktails. The staff where very attentive and friendly would highly recommend.

Mine and my partners favourite restaurant in west Kirby. Been here lots of times breakfast, evening meal. Not once has it ever faulted. Fantastic service great atmosphere even better food! Next to try is the bottomless brunch!

Visited for bottomless lunch. One word amazing. The drinks where amazing. The food was gorgeous and plentiful. A choice of garlic bread followed by a starter and a main plus bottomless drinks which had a great selection! 90 mins for £30 pp. We tried every drink! Our server tavlia was amazing. She made sure she checked on us and always made sure we had a drink. I can't wait to return. Thanks so much est Italian.

Warning. Despite their Website indicating they ‘are always happy to accommodate specific dietary requirements wherever possible’ they refused to serve us because a member of our family has a nut allergy. It’s not easy having a nut allergy , especially for a teenager, unable to enjoy the many foods all your pals eat and always having to carry an EpiPen, public rejection only adds to the issues. EstItalian…Please change your website to indicate your Policy so that people don’t rely upon the bookings you have accepted and subsequently refused resulting in embarrassment and inconvenience. Fortunately we were welcomed by one of the other good restaurants in West Kirby that seem to have the ability to cater for common Dietary needs.

Slow service to begin with but staff were rushed off there feet as it was so busy. Went as a group and we all enjoyed our starters and mains, mix of pasta, pizza and main meals, all delicious! Cocktails were nice and can’t complain as pizza/pasta mains were 50% off. Would visit again!

Not the best time. We arrived for our date night. We ordered our food and within 5 minutes it arrived! I had to send a starter back because it was over cooked. We felt like we were being rushed out. Date night started at 8 pm and finished at 9 pm. Sorry disappointing.

6 of us visited here on Sunday evening for my son's birthday, partly because we've had a nice meal here before and also because of the 50% off mains offer. The starters were ok but the waitress cleared our plates before my dad had finished eating which we found rude. Then our mains came, again they were ok apart from my steak which was as tough as old boots and definitely not cooked medium. It was that bad that I couldn't chew or swallow the meat so had to spit it out onto my plate. No one came to ask if everything was ok and when the waitress did come over to ask if we were finished, I told her that I couldn't eat mine as it was so tough and all she said was "I'll tell the kitchen". No offer of a new piece of steak or a different meal so all I had for my tea was a few fries. I watched her take my plate away to the counter and start cutting it up....as if she didn't believe it was tough. If it was nice I would of ate it I'm not going to send it back for no reason , I was hungry!!!! Again she cleared some plates before everyone was finished. We then ordered desserts. After around 20 mins of waiting we were told there would be another 10/15 min delay. For that reason we cancelled them and asked for the bill. The waitress or manageress or whoever she was, brought over the bill and said she'd taken a small discount off the steak. My husband said no we wanted the steak taken off the bill as I'd had no tea. Her reply was that it was only half a portion. He told her it was a full portion and as she was tugging the bill out of his hand she said "If you say so" Unbelievable!!! She reluctantly took my steak off the bill. They also add on a 10% surcharge without any mention which is also based on full price. not the price after the 50% off was taken off. I can categorically say we will never eat here again. I've never known such poor customer service or rude staff!! There are much nicer places to eat in Westkirby that aren't rude to their customers!!

Visited as a group of 13 adults and 2 babies (6m and 18m) for a big birthday celebration. The service was below par, there was only one waitress that was friendly and helpful (didn’t catch her name but blonde lady who was lovely). Half of the table waited for 15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken whilst the other half had already received their drinks, also 3 meals were that late to be sent out some of the party had already finished their meals by the time they came out. The high chairs provided were caked in dried on food and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, there were also no trays to the highchair so the babies couldn’t eat food for themselves. The 18m old ran into the glass door on his way out and this was witnessed by 3 staff members and whilst the mum was consoling her crying son, not one staff member came over to ask if he was ok! There was also a breastfeeding mum who asked if she could use one of the empty tables with a comfier seat to feed her 6m old, she was made to feel like she was a nuisance and was told she could use a table but they had a reservation, so would need to move in 10 minutes. This is understandable as reservations have to be adhered to, but there was no offer of another empty table so she could nurse her baby without a time restriction (there were other empty tables that could have been offered!) Overall the experience was terrible and then the following morning 4 of the party have come down with food poisoning….safe to say we will not be visiting again or recommending this place to friends.

Beautiful setting. Food delicious, even better that there is 50% off on a Sunday and some mid week days too!! Highly recommend!

We had a big group meal with about 16 of us and the service was outstanding! The food was absolutely delightful. I must say a big thank you to the lady so helped with the bill at the end, being a group of young adults sorting out the bill took some time 😂 and the lady was beyond patient when sorting it out. I would 100% recommend!!

The food is delicious but children screaming absolutely ruined it. It was like being in a crèche. Adults only or children only allowed after 10 years old as it used to be. They behaved like animals.

We've been here with family a few times for breakfast, at the weekend, and also early evening. The food is always delicious, the staff are great, very attentive, and the prices are very reasonable.

Doesn’t clearly advertise that the 50% secondi dishes is solely for eating in on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Sundays. The T&C’s does not specify this anywhere on their site, it’s just followed with it doesn’t do the 50% off on Mothers or Fathers Day. Ordered meals for takeaway from this menu and when I collected was told it was full price. False advertising

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food and service were very, very good and as we'd booked for a Tuesday our mains were 50% off which meant it was incredible value. If we lived locally this would definitely become a firm favourite.

Unexpectedly good. Great service, lovely food and really good value. The service was so good - really well done. Had bruschetta/ mushroom starters and they were lovely. Pizza caprina was excellent, as was carbonara and four seasons pizza. Highly recommended.

EST Italian is the perfect place to go for an evening meal ranging from couples, family gatherings and even business meetings. The food was top notch with very friendly and fast service. One of my favourite spots in West Kirby.

We came as party of six with young children and grandparents. We couldn't have wished for a better restaurant - food was delicious and extremely good value. We got the make your own pizza for the kids and they loved making it themselves and taking it to a kitchen. The interior feels really nice but not pretentious and service was great. We will definitely return.

I have been visiting for a while and it never disappoints! The staff is lovely and attentive and the food is well cooked and tastes amazing. The menu choice is huge and all the dishes have a great value for money. In our last visit I tried the new seafood risotto that really surprised me! One of our favourite place, we will definitely keep coming back!

We were last night taking advantage of the 50% off offer. The service was brilliant and the food was delicious! The atmosphere was very pleasant too. 4 meals including dessert for just £60. We will be back soon!

Great cocktails at two for £10 you can’t go wrong!!! Staff are very friendly and helpful even though it’s a busy restaurant, good atmosphere and never felt rushed. Food is always good and lovely to find a restaurant with freshly made ingredients and not frozen. Duck spring rolls are a favourite and the chicken skewers. Mains are always chicken or seabass….. baked Alaska is great but shame they can’t flambé at the table as it sets the fire alarm off. Great restaurant and good atmosphere and the afternoon tea is great too, never been able to finish it and been three times!!

1st time ever been here and won't be returning, my partner and I both had the spaghetti carbonara, the pasta was very over cooked and starchy very sticky, not a lot of cream and the so called pancetta was fatty tasted awful, only plus I can say is the garlic bread was tasty, over priced for what it was and when I was asked was everything alright and I said no not nice ,waiter replied will let the chef's know not good at all, I also don't agree with service tip being taken automatically, as had it not been they wouldn't have got one from us

Overall experience very poor from cocktails that were watered down to the point I couldn’t drink them, to the food which was undercooked and the meat grey in colour. This resulted in an evening of disappointment and vomiting with severe stomach cramps. The place looks so lovely but would avoid if you don’t want to be unwell.

Service was slow. Cocktails were basically watered down to the point that they were undrinkable. When we told staff about this, we were met with attitude. The food…the Carbonara is NOT Italian Carbonara. Just a pasty cream pasta with chewy pancetta. Guancialo nowhere in sight. Disappointing doesn’t even come close.

I asked for medium, but it was well done and not particularly nice. A steak from Aldi would have been better. I asked for the hand cut chips, but I'm pretty sure they were out of a frozen bag. My meal was just the steak and chips, no vegetables, salad, or anything else to make it look or taste better. We will not be going back!

Fantastic food, a great selection of Italian classics including from the grill, sea bass, prawns, pizza and pasta. But the main attraction is the wonderful staff and the ambience. We turned up on spec on a Friday and we were welcomed with smiles and friendly service. Prices are great for the quality of good and portion size. Loved it .

Went for mother in last birthday.. good parking either on the street or they have their own. Staff were very welcoming, was great for 50% off menu which included the steak and vegetarian meals for my wife which she loved too! Waitress was lovely and was spacious and accommodating for our party.

Shocking. No drinks for nearly 40 minutes and no food after an hour despite at least three tables who came in at least 15 minutes after us being served food and drinks! No plausible reason for this so we walked out having offered to pay for the drinks that came eventually!

Fantastic! My daughter loves the make your own pizza.

We visit Est on a regular basis. Last time we went it was more ‘miss’ than ‘hit’ but after going on Sunday, it was excellent. Not sure if there’s a new chef as portion sizes seemed much better. We love Est - thank you !

We are sitting in this restaurant on a Friday evening.place almost empty. Service is worse than bad . Had to get up to ask the waitress to clear our plates which she did begrudgingly. Never again.

I only write a review when annoyed. This restaurant looks good on outside and is well presented on inside for West Kirby. Our experience was not good. Service was slow, we were served out of turn, my wife’s starter was served cold. There were a number of other customers expressing dissatisfaction. The waitresses didn’t seem to want to know if we enjoyed our food. I guess they knew the answer. We won’t be returning which is a shame because the venue is really good.

We have been to Est Italian several times since opening in 2017. However, we went for dinner recently and had another amazing meal. The starters and the food came very quickly and was delicious - my personal favourite is the Calzone. The team were very friendly and happy to help. I look forward to returning to the restaurant soon!

Really good food with excellent service

Table for 1 Excellent food, attentive staff, warm atmosphere. In a word: delicious. Tender steak with a delicate crust, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour that melts on the tongue. Accompanied with a choice of sauces, I opted for garlic butter; silky, warming, the perfect accompaniment- with plenty left over to dip either your hand cut chips, or as I chose, French fries. Finished the meal with an excellently prepared French coffee, and a small homemade shortbread. I plan on visiting again for the seabass. An excellent choice of wines and desserts on offer, too

My husband and I had a tasty late lunch. It was very reasonably priced as there happened to be a 50% reduction on certain main courses. We would have been happy to have paid full price. The smoke detectors work very well as setting fire to the baked Alaska at the table set them off! Tips are included in the bill, just in case you miss the small print on the menu.

Family of four - kids had the bambino menu and the pizzas were HUGE! We had pasta and it was excellent. Good portions, good prices and good service - our first visit and we will certainly return.

Amazing food!! I had gamberoni diavola to start was absolutely amazing, then Pollo e Asparagi for main, both divine. Beautifully decorated, very clean and tidy, the service was amazing and it was the best restaurant experience I’ve had living in the UK so far! We will definitely be going back soon xx

Table booked 600pm seated by 605pm. Lovely big banquet seats too, handy when you've kids with you. We all had different choices, so a deal of sharing going on. The lasagne was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. All-in-all, some very satisfied diners

Spanish owned and operated Italian Resto. Excellent food with very generous portions including the starters. Our service was a bit hit and miss due to new staff and staff shortage but in the end this didn't detract from the great food. Only recommendation would be not to get the large table by the kitchen/toilets 😁
