Excellent service and the food is superb at very reasonable prices. Add to that the resident friendly dog .. lovely place and such friendly staff.

Absolutely lovely lady running the cafe , made us some perfect poached eggs and as we hadn’t heard of Ulster sausage/spam gave us some free to try . If you are in the area , do pop in .

Went to this cafe because of the great reviews but was sorely disappointed. We were sat down at a table and given a breakfast menu. After perusing the breakfasts on offer I asked if they did a vegetarian one. I was told that they do but it was too hot in the kitchen and they weren't cooking any breakfasts. I understand that it was going to be a hot day but it was 8.45am and fairly warm but to get a blanket refusal on breakfasts I was shocked. Why didn't they say when we walked in? We left and found a lovely cafe down the road.

Great vibe in this place - lots of locals chillin in the sun on the days we were there. Exceptional black pudding butties, lovely cup of tea. Staff were efficient and friendly. Prices? Very good. Well worth a visit or two if you're in New Brighton.

We absolutely love this place! The breakfasts are incredible and such good value. There's always a warm welcome, even when we arrived in a large group and there is always a lively chat going on between the tables.

First time here on a rainy day, the windows were all steamed up and there was hustle and bustle going on - felt like a Smuggler's Cave! The young woman serving with her bright rainbow hair and eye make-up was bubbly and chatty and made us feel welcome. The cook couldn't do enough to please us, even giving me an extra hot fried egg when my first one got broke! Altogether a lovely bunch of people here and my sailor man and I enjoyed the experience - thank you! We had breakfast which was pretty tasty and well cooked.

Fantastic cafe in New Brighton that go the extra mile with quality ingredients and happy staff whether it's Paula the owner, Margie (always brings a smile ) or Luca, you can guarantee you'll be looked after. Prices are superb too. Highly recommended.

Best cafe for miles around, bar none!! Cooked breakfasts are just perfect and very reasonably priced and the homemade soup is sensational. Loveliest staff you could wish to meet. 5 Stars not enough

Amazing breakfasts and Sunday roasts! My favourite place to go in new brighton when visiting family.

Visited today, 2 adults and 2 children. We only called in for drinks but ordered a bowl of chips for the boys. Bowl arrived with 2 free sausages and chips were home made, boys really enjoyed. Owner really friendly and got the feeling other customers were regulars who all included us in conversation. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely lovely owner. Made us feel incredibly welcome and gave us extras for free. Food was unbelievably good value so we gave a 50% tip 😆. Standard fare on offer, delicious, with a real warm Scouse community spirit. Will definitely return.

First time here and most definitely will be the first of many! Now, I saw the small, medium and large breakfast description and thought I'd get the medium because it had loads on it (£4.50!) but decided to get a large breakfast (£5.50!) so that I could give my dog a sausage and a bit of black pudding. My breakfast came, it was bloody massive, and then so did another sausage for Teddy! 20 minutes later a very happy me and a very happy dog rolled out not needing to eat for the rest of the day. The ingredients were good as well, for the price you pay you expect a little less but I got a very nice surprise there. My girlfriend and I commented on a cake (that looked incredible) that was on the counter and it turns out somebody brings it in for the lady who runs the place for free so it gets given out for free as well! You don't mind spending your money in a place like this, when you get something back so delicious it's just an added bonus really!

Not the first time i have been here and certainly wont be the last. I came for breakfast this time, it is a vibrant, friendly cafe where the staff and other patrons welcomed us. The food was scrumptious and plenty of it. I would highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

This has to be the friendliest café I have ever been in. Everyone in the café was chatty, the food was really cheap and very tasty. The menu is huge with lots of homemade soups and all is freshly prepared. A must go to for any one visiting New Brighton.

The seaside cafe is on the main street. It's small with a big choice of main meals and snacks. The food is good and the coffee is excellent. The the prices are reasonable. What makes it special is the owner and her little dog. The owner made or Grandson feel very special. She talked and spent a lot of time with him. She showed him a treasure chest and gave him two presents out it to take home. She asked him if he wanted her to display a stick that he found on the beach in the cafe. Then she showed him a toy dog from her window display. The dog did a fifteen minute routine and she let Laurence play with it. We ordered a small cup of milk and she made it special for him. It's a great place to visit.
