Went on a Saturday night to listen to a band. They served food and cakes all freshly made on the day and very tasty. It is open during the week and serves very nice food.

What a change my sister took me for afternoon tea and it made my day. Had a great afternoon staff were lovely. And the sandwiches ,Fresh cream scones and drinks were top notch well recommended a hidden gem.

This is our grandchildren’s favourite cafe for lunch. A good selection of reasonably priced food, sensible portions for kids, and they play with the toys.

Hidden in the Basement of a large church building InSpire is a lovely relaxing area which is welcoming with soft chairs and good food and drink. A wide range of veggi and vegan food too. There is disabled access and there is a small car park but when full parking is on busy roads

Great place to go and relax. Breakfast is beautifully cooked and the toast is amazing. Don't usually go for brown bread but theirs is lovely. Meaty sausages that are full of flavour but without too much spice. The staff go the extra mile to provide you with any extra needs you might have.

Wow factor for the home cooked food although not cheap but real quality

We went to Inspire today to celebrate my mother in law's 90th birthday. We had a gang of 21 family members and friends. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, and the food is really excellent too. She had a wonderful time as did everyone else. Highly recommended.

I’ve visited here a few times with friends. Latest was for lunch. Plenty of choice, I had soup which was delicious and served with a generous amount of bread.

Really good experience.. Friendly staff and very good cappuccinos and lattes.... Comfy clean and homely surroundings. Place would benefit from more prominent signage as could improve numbers. Would definitely recommend.

Great vibe in this place. Lots of cool and quirky little touches such as the conversation starter jars on the tables and the option to purchase a hot drink for a homeless person or person in need. Very child friendly with lots of toys and some comfy couches for breastfeeding. There are guitars for people to play and the staff are very friendly. Great menu and the prices are very reasonable.

I have to say that Inspire coffee bar has it all, Lots of chilled out places to relax and enjoy the wide selection of hot and cold food and the drinks are to die for. If you have not already been i recomend you do as you will not be disapointed. The staff are friendly and well educated in the art of cafe dining and entertaining, I also found out that they offer an conference facility and hire out the space. I shall be returning shortly now that i have found this little gem to relax and enjoy.

Yet another superb cooked breakfast together with a perfect cappuccino. My better half and I enjoy sitting in one of the comfy sofas with our drinks before eating at one of the tables. Always pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

What a hidden gem! Perfect for families, friends and couples. The food is fantastic and what a choice, the coffee is amazing and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

I was told about this little hidden gem by a friend so my husband and I thought we would give it a whirl with our 18month old.

Wonderful, peaceful atmosphere, even with my two year-old in tow. I had a brie, cranberry and bacon toastie (arrived with salad and lovely fresh coleslaw). It was the best! Gingerbread latte was also very good! Little play area for pre-school kids. Clean highchairs! Great toilet facilities.

Never even noticed this place before, but I dropped my car off for an mot and it was recommended to me to pass an hour, the staff are marvelous, I had a hot chocolate with yummy marsh mellows and a millionaires shortbread, both I have to say were delicious, cakes are all home made with lots of choice, lovely atmosphere with lots of comfortable seating . Prices are more than competitive, pop in, you won't be disappointed.

Been here a few times now, coffee is always lovey as are the staff, ideally situated 1 minute off the M53 J1, blink and you may miss it, definitely worth many visits, the coffee shop is inside an old church and is beautiful inside, no airs and graces just good old coffee! Give them a try!

I called in with my wife today for breakfast. This place is a hidden gem in Wallasey. A unique, comfortable place. Very clean; very friendly staff; great food and coffee; and decent prices. Don't drive past like me....call in. There is a car park just adjacent on Breck Road as you drive away from the lights so stop and have a look.

This is a great hidden treasure of Wallasey. The cafe is 'hidden' in a church and easily missed. You go through a stone entrance, down a ramp, to a lovely vibrant little coffee shop. It's a local community thing but very professional indeed. The staff are lovely, prices competitive and setting comfortable.

Always have a good time here - excellent food and drinks (particularly the cooked breakfast, toasties and waffles!) Nice little area for the children to play and always feel welcome and nothing is too much bother. Definitely worth a visit

we popped in for a quiet drink for the first time, the ambience was lovely (even my "picky" husband liked it) I wanted a Gin & Tonic, wow what a choice of gins, I plumped for raspberry gin with basil infused tonic, delicious, we will be back.

Staff extremely helpful with dietry requirements. Inside is light and airy which large comfy sofas. Just what you need to relax with your coffee. My sandwich was delicious and very fresh. Will visit regularly now.

Great, friendly and chilled out coffee shop

I've been visiting InSpire a lot over the last year or so and the food is always excellent. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere, and often some interesting event or other going on. Well worth frequenting!

I was tempted not to write this as I do want to keep this as my own little secret. But having visiting here for the first time I cannot not leave a few words of appreciation for this gorgeous little place.

The staff of this bar are all volunteers. It is co-located into The Spire Church, and offers coffee and snacks, with excellent customer service. The coffee is made from ground, fresh coffee beans which gives an excellent-flavoured quality coffee. The large cup is huge; about two normal tea-cups in size. Food is tasty and everything is reasonably-priced. Not cheap, but very good value. We had a white coffee and a black coffee with a toasted sausage sandwich. The bread (brown) was top-grade seeded bread and the sausages were proper quality up-market supermarket ones, really excellent. Staff were friendly and gave good service. Thoroughly recommended.

If you are looking for a nice relaxed mellow place for a lovely coffee. plenty of tea choices. Yummy hot chocolate. Cakes are so tasty. Wheel chair and pram accessible. Disabled toilet. A lovely childs corner with toys. Big sofas and low music. And its quite cheap prices for how lovely you feel when you visit.

Amazing, friendly, great place to chill and chat

Service and staff friendly and helpful to me and my toddler, they also offered water for owners coming in with dogs and chatted to customers. Efficient service, lovely food, cooked just right and good portions. Fab crockery, loved having my laté in a thick, large cup and saucer! Lovely relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, clean, uncluttered. Great children's area. Well equipped and good size baby change/ disabled toilet. Highly recommended, would definitely go there again.

Visited InSpire coffee shop after attending a baby group in the church hall for a well earnt coffee break and to give my niece a bottle. By far one of the nicest cappuccinos I have had in a long time and beautifully presented too. The place is really cosy and comfortable too sit. Really nice atmosphere in the place, You could easily spend a few hours here. The staff are really friendly and efficient in their service. I will definitely be returning soon to sample their good variety lunch time menu, and to try one of their breakfasts which looked delicious.

This local independent coffee bar is run by cheerful and helpful volunteers. The prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of choice... breakfasts, soups, toasties and burgers etc. Well worth a visit!

Love this place. Great coffee in friendly relaxing surroundings. Staff are very helpful, I am particular about my coffee and like it served hot which I find it is not in a lot of famous chain coffee shops. Even if I ask for it be hot in most places it still arrives luke warm so was very pleased to enjoy a lovely steaming latte on a cold windy day.

Great space for a family to come to. Toy corner entertains the kids. Run by lovely people and food and drinks are fab.

Visited today after a recommendation from friends. A lovely, relaxed, friendly coffee shop (with added fairy lights!) Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they handled additional requests with no problem. Plenty of lovely sounding food. I opted for the humous toastie but could have chosen from a number of things so will have to go back (and also try the cake next time)

What a lovely place! If you're into quality coffee and good music, this is your place to go!

Visited today (Thurs 14th Sept 2017) having driven past many times on my way home from work wondering what it was like! I went with my friend and our two 2-year olds as there was a Mums and Tots session from 9.15am. The café is situated in the front of St. Luke's church and is absolutely immaculate - very well laid out with a small play area for toddlers surrounded by tables and chairs and comfy couches (perfect for watching them play as you get to enjoy an actual HOT drink!). The coffee is gorgeous and they have Eggy Bread on the menu which is an all time favourite of mine. Good selection of cakes which are fresh and importantly moist(!), very clean toilets and baby changing facilities. Last but not least, the staff are wonderful and very attentive. Can't wait for our next visit!

A lovely lovely quiet place if a bit of peace is all you need, with a kids play area, various events and delightful tasty treats and a variety of seasonal drinks to boot. :) It is situated in the St. Luke's Church basement but DON'T let that put you off!! They are really lovely, friendly God fearing people who will make you feel right at home, regardless of what spiritual path you happen to take. There is no pressure whatsoever, can't rate it highly enough.
