Place is lovely and cosy, food is absolutely stunning and the staff are so welcoming. Came for breakfast and will definitely be coming back to try the lunch menu!

Gorgeous tucking out of the way cafe. Extensive and varied menu with something for everyone including a lovely kids menu. Delicious home made cakes. The BEST breakfast I have eaten in years, lovely quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be becoming a regular. Thanks

Been a few times now and the food is excellent 👌. You can tell the produce is quality. Nice atmosphere an good service. Worth a visit to fill your belly or just have a brew. Loads of great options for even the fussiest of people

This is one of our favourite places to eat in West Kirby. Food is always good. A couple of outdoor tables as well as indoor seating.

Disappointing service. Can't comment on food as didn't get any. I asked a waitress if we could sit outside. She was not polite and said it would have to be cleaned. Then a young man came out removed the old cups, he returned and made a poor attempt to clean the table. He then asked us if we wanted menus??? He eventually brought some out almost throwing them on the table. We waited a further 10 minutes, trying to attract their attention. Eventually we walked out! Then walked in to Hannah's two doors down and got totally the opposite service.

Love this quirky cafe tucked away of the main drag. Highly recommend their omlettes and great selection of home made cakes! The vegan bakewell is my go to treat with a pot of tea!!

This is my go to cafe in West Kirby .the breakfast choice is so varied ,from vegan or add your fav items to include your own breakfast to suit.great choice of drinks and cakes ,also a specials board.and the added bonus of being dog friendly !.highly recommended!!

I visited in April 2022. Greeted with a warm welcome, the ambiance was relaxed and friendly.Thankfully, no loud music or unnerving background clatter! The tea was strong and hot, nice big teapot, not a hint of chlorinated water! Chicken wraps were freshly prepared and very tasty. Cakes were great too. All in all, an unpretentious and very enjoyable place to eat.

Beautiful food, all high quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. We all thoroughly enjoyed a late breakfast/breakfast butties. Homemade hash browns were awesome! Good value for money and dog friendly too.

Poor communication from serving staff member. The food was sub standard and luke warm Food order was wrong and upon leaving i said see you soon to the very rude staff to which we were rudely told by the two staff members "I hope not" such a let down from our last visit.. luckily we won't be returning ever again. So avoid this terrible place at all costs.

A brilliant gluten and dairy free chocolate cake and dairy free ice cream. Absolutely delicious. Nuala has some of the best dairy and gluten free products and always ready to please the customer

Good coffee and very nice simple eats. The warmth of the place was not what it was a couple of years ago but dont know why. Didnt seem so cosy/ happy / firendly. Was certainly one of the best places in West Kirby tho adn would visit regularly.

Visited on saturday and had a choice of Sweet Pea Cafe, Hannahs and Green Onions and really wish we had chosen one of the other two now. Firstly the order kept being checked as they took it down wrong 3 times. We were ordering a sandwich which according to the menu came with a small side of chips and a salad however we then noticed that for an extra £1.50 you could have a bowl of soup with this so decided that was a good option instead of a drink. When it arrived there were no chips or salad and the bowl of soup was half the size of a standard bowl of soup. The sandwich was just sat in the middle of the plate looking rather sad with no attempt to make it look appealing. I think if you are going to specify 'add a bowl of soup to the sandwich for £1.50 you should specify that if you do, you won't get the chips and salad too which makes it a completely different order. Yes, you think you are getting a better deal for having soup for an extra £1.50 but in comparison to the regular bowl of soup then you are getting half the soup and then losing the chips and salad too. They do takeaway and the sandwich price for takeaway was half the sit down price so we basically paid £5 to sit in per person too ! Really not good value at over £10 for a basic sandwich and small bowl of soup. Definitely wont be returning at all, Hannahs or Green Onions for us next time. As we were with family the total bill was £49 and really not worth it at all, in fact a complete rip off.

I love this place! It's literally always the first (sometimes the only) place I think about eating at whenever I'm in (or even near) West Kirby! Every single time, without fail, when I'm showing someone to West Kirby for the first time, I take them here; and it's never disappointed! Their food is delicious, well-priced, and there's a good selection, too. The staff there are really friendly and welcoming, and the cafe itself is just a lovely place to be, with a great atmosphere. One of my favourite independent places to eat at by far. Even if you're just dropping in for one of their fantastic cakes and a drink, give it a go!

Delightful little café just off the main road, with very friendly service. We stopped for a coffee and cake, which were both lovely. Had both vegan and gluten-free cakes on offer. Will return again soon!

Loved this place, much more than expected! Our usual breakfast date café was closed, so looked up alternatives and found this one. Love the decor, friendly welcoming atmosphere, yummy 😋 breakfast and lovely coffee. Sausages especially yummy 😋 and nice bread (toast). Only thing baked beans not quite hot enough. Good value for great food and generous portion, filled us up until dinner! 😀x

Rude sullen staff: 'is that ALL you are ordering??' Bizarre menu: ordered advertised soup and a cheese sandwich, 'we don't do cheese sandwich. You must order cheese on toast'. Four staff, one one other customer besides my husband and I, we waited over 15 minutes. We walked out, and will never go back there, just 100% terrible!!

Good service and delicious fresh food

Order: The bacon, chicken and avocado salad, warm goat cheese salad and two flat whites. The avocado was as a mush and dark and the salad was tired. We were told that the reason that the avocado was like this is because of added lemon juice; things that raise suspicion by telling a lie. The coffee that is used to make the flat white could have been of better quality. The "cook" was rather defensive but there was no problem in us leaving and payment was readily waved. A great shame as we used to love this place.

Popped into the Sweet Pea cafe for lunch. It was great to see that they were able to deliver a fantastic service, whilst following the COVID restrictions. The staff were delightful, the food was fantastic. I will most certainly be returning.

Me and my 3 friends visited at the weekend, we were able to reserve a table which was super appreciated. The hostess was so so friendly and welcoming. We all had lunch and the food was delicious and good value. We also had smoothies and loved the fact we could basically have whatever combo we wanted. The service was perfect as they were attentive, but not too much so. We also got some cakes to take away with us which were out of this world, especially the bakewell! A true hidden gem in West Kirby that I will DEFINITELY return to!

Was delighted to have spent an afternoon here yesterday. The owner Susana, was so friendly and welcoming. She happily reserved me an outside table and kept back a piece of cake for me! The cake was gorgeous, drinks were great, and the place is beautifully decorated. My new regular cafe for sure!

Cosy little cafe not too far away from the station. Decided to stop here after a leisurely walk around West Kirby and the park for some fresh air. Had a latte and a slice of almond tart my husband had strawberry milkshake and carrot cake which was lovely. Only a handful of people but to be honest we prefer it that way.

Asked in town a decent local Café to frequent, was given directions to this place. What a lovely little gem of a place. A nice big pot of tea, so I could have two cups of Earl Grey, my wife was very happy with her Latte. Rather than spend pennies in corporate giants I would recommend this Café.

Food was nice and good quality. Service was a little slow, I'm not sure if the girl servicing us was new but she walked pasted our empty plates several times before we prompted that we had finished and wanted more drinks. Overall a nice little place for brunch and easy walking distance from most places in town. Was able to easily book a table through the cafe's Facebook page. The outside seating is a nice feature but a little close to the corner of the main road in terms of noise. Would recommend it for a little coffee spot off the beaten track.

What a great find on a side street in West Kirby today. Delicious homemade cakes and tea and coffee. Well set up for social distancing with hand sanitiser available at the entrance. Charming, helpful staff. This was our first venture out after shielding against COVID and didn’t disappoint in any way. Really interesting menu and we’ll be back to try it.

We enjoyed a lovely take out lunch with coffee. It is great to see you serving food again and we look forward to a sit down (socially distanced) meal when you fully open. As usual great food with a Spanish flavour!!

Glad I ordered my chocolate this way. Cream and marshmallows. Wanted a light meal but nothing on the menu tickled our tastebuds. The staff did try to entice us, bless them. It cozy in here.

After a blustery walk round west Kirby a hot drink an homemade cake was exactly what was needed. I’m coeliac and was delighted to find A beautiful gluten free lemon cake and washed it down with a gingerbread latte. Lovely atmosphere, friendly efficient staff and tasty menu. My only critique would be to highlight on the menu what dishes are specifically gluten free. The staff were so knowledgable and the menu so varied with so many options for gluten free - it’s a rare find which should be highlighted. Some amazing homemade cakes and really tasty dishes, can’t wait to go back!

I've walked by this cafe many times but there has never seemed to be a table spare, so last week when I spotted one, I walked straight in. The tables and chairs are an odd mish mash of styles and it had kind of a junk shop vibe about it, but it's quirky and it somehow works. We ordered our food and drinks and the drinks arrived fairly quickly, but my latte had gone pretty much cold by the time my food arrived 20 mins later. Food itself was great just the service a bit slow, although in fairness, it was busy. I'd go again!

Just called in for coffee this morning. Always nice coffee. Comes with a tasty almond treat. Didn't have food today but there is a nice variety of choice from the menu including toasties, sandwiches and a variety of main courses. Have always found the food very good here.

There was only two of us, breakfast took an hour to come to our table. No explanation given. Maybe we were just very unlucky with timings as the people that received their food after us only waited 10 minutes. If we had been told when they took out order that there was a long wait then we could have made a decision to stay or go somewhere else. Food was pretty nice but I was too wound up to particularly enjoy it.

Bank holiday Monday lunchtime visit with the family. Service a little slow but very accommodating! Looked after our little one with a brilliant novelty cup for his juice. Lovely coffee, hot and fresh. Muffins were out of this world! Huge and utterly delicious! Soup was freshly made and tasty. Sandwiches were great especially the croque monsieur - WOW! Don’t even get me started on the freshly made crepes! UNBELIEVABLE! Great atmosphere, defo a new family favourite! See you next week! Thanks

Had a fantastic lunch there today with my friend. Sweet Pea has a lovely welcoming atmosphere, fantastic food and great service. Will definitely go there again.

Ok, it was a bank holiday. But there's no excuse for taking 50 minutes to serve four people with two bacon sandwiches, a pancake and a croque monsieur. And there was no explanation, still less an apology. There are so many good cafes in West Kirby that customers will not tolerate such poor service.

Tasty tea and flapjack in the centre of the Wirral. Worth a visit.

We found this lovely cafe, hidden along one of the back streets of West Kirby. Great coffee and yummy cake. The staff were so helpful. A stop here helped refuel us for the cycle home to Little Neston. We'll be back !

Can’t think of many better ways to start a day. Latte came with a lemon biscuit on the side which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious! The homemade hash brown was particularly impressive. Decor had a warm, homely feeling about it. Very chilled atmosphere with great service. We will definitely be returning soon.

A lovely local cafe. Sometimes when it’s busy the service can be slow, but on the plus side it means they are paying attention to the food you get. Nice menu with interesting choices.

I’ve lived in west Kirby for 20 years and only just discovered this cafe, i was looking for vegan friendly places and the food is amazing, I haven’t stopped telling everybody since about this cafe xx
