What a fabulous Xmas lunch 30+ served in no time, excellent quality,the atmosphere was very good and the staff were lovely, I will definitely go again,so A Merry Xmas to everyone.x

We are regulars - well once a year when we come to St Mary’s! - and never miss out on a lunch here. What amazing views! The 6 of us had a selection of delicious foods - sandwiches, pate quiche and scampi. The side dishes of excellent crispy chips were quite large and next time we’ll share . The staff were lovely too - and weren’t phased by an unexpected and very heavy downpour leading to us all grabbing our plates and dashing inside!

We stayed in the Premier Inn next door. Had an evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Great experience on both occasions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The layout for breakfast was impressive. Staff were friendly and helpful, its was a nice environment to enjoy breakfast

Not been to Papa's for a while before visiting lunch time today. Not too busy for a Thursday. The food is still excellent, served piping hot and in good time. We had the 'Seniors Special' which was a good sized piece of cod, plenty of chips and also included a buttered roll and hot drink. The prices are keen and the service is friendly and good. Recommended.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Fish meals are always superb, and the gluten free crumble and custard is delicious.

Service was horrendous, waitress not interested, no dialogue, overpriced, maianaise served in a refilled dirty Heinze bottle, definitely not filled with Heinze, £39 two meals and two drinks, overpriced, when we paid no conversation at all, definitely won't be going back, use to be very good a few years ago, must be new owners, avoid

Amazing view. Al fresco dining with unsurpassed views from The Lizard. Always see a seal or two to put the icing on the cake. Have visted often and always have the vegetable lasagne - absolutely delicious. Others have had the burgers, fish and fish medley and am told the crab sandwich is very good. So sorry to hear it is closing this week. Hope whoever takes over doesn't try to change it too much. As it is, it offers great food at good price, lovely staff and has a reputation to support this with a location that cannot be beaten. It's family friendly, food is served swiftly and never disappoints - and who could want more whilst gazing over the blue Atlantic. Good luck to the present proprietors in their retirement.

Had breakfast with Santa morning. My brother took his kids on Saturday morning said that all had great time. We unfortunately did have same experience as them. Food was ok. I didn’t think much of Santa kids were not taken by Santa. Santa spent very little time with kids all seemed rushed. Think need to improve on breakfast and there Santa.

Thank you to Emma and James for a wonderful stay. You welcomed us with open arms. All staff were so friendly and helpful too. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely family run pub. The food was absolutely divine! Sunday lunch is an absolute must! Incredible. We feel like we have eaten like kings and queens all weekend. The wine and beer was spot on too! Our room was beautiful, so clean, had so much character within the room. Really comfy bed! Slept so well. A proper country pub! This is our second time visiting this beautiful part of the world but the first time we stayed here and we cannot wait to stay again! Thank you all for making our stay so lovely! Steph and Mike Xx

A lovely sea view whilst having a beautifully cooked breakfast. We both went for the kippers with poached eggs. Cor blimey they were good! A very generous portion and wonderfully tasty. Great little farm shop as well. Thanks!

Lovely cafe on the side of the lake. Great choice of drinks, food and snacks with a fab view. Clean facilities and you can eat inside or out

Popped in for a carvery with the kids best carvery we have had in years the meat was cooked to perfection 👌 toby carvery hasn't got anything on this place highly recommended,
