Can well recommend this cafe very reasonable lovely food

Shame as I liked the food but the man who owns the place is constantly outside smoking and it puts me off

Lovely New cafe on the parade. Great friendly helpful staff. Couple of mistakes on order, but quickly resolved it. Breakfast was amazing & will definitely return 😋 ☕️

Friendly and helpful staff but I was disappointed with the solid eggs and I've never had onion with eggs Benedict before.

Came in today with a few of us all our food was amazing! Hot,looked very presentable and best of all tasted lovely. Husband said sausage was outstanding! Lovely food and great service!

Cafe maromme no longer exists,it is now called 'Millies' and it is amazing, I recommend this cafe to everyone, owners and staff are so friendly and the food is lovely. 10/10

This cafe is under new management i think. It is now called millies cafe. It has gone downhill. The food was tasteless and mediocre. It is such ashame . The staff were not smiling and the fornt staff didn't really pay attention to their customers . I cannt explain how disappointed I am. The tables are sticky and there was no atmosphere. The food had no flavour . The only reason why I didn't give it 1 star is because the coffee was good and the decor looked nice.

I think this must be under new management. It’s been a while since I last made a visit but when I ordered my 3 sausage and 1 double bacon and egg baguettes, I was given my order after a 15 minute wait and left. When I got home I found out I had been given only 2 baguettes, I went back and was told that’s what I ordered. So I paid £9.00 for 2 baguettes! I’m glad they got it wrong otherwise I would have had to pay £18.00!! The nice small baguettes they used to do have changed too and instead you are given a cut part of a large baguette roll, too much bread and no quality, no doubt it’s a lot cheaper to cut down a large baguette than use the smaller better quality ones, the bacon was also of a poor quality with large fatty bits left on the rashers. I’m sorry to say but the builder who owns the Cafe should stick to building. So to clarify, the quality of product is cheap and the mark up is massive. Sorry but I will not be coming back. Ian

Never been here before, moved into oadby 2days b4 lockdown no1, so first chance I get to out 4 breakfast with my daughter off we went for wot use 2b a norma lthing we like to do breakfast chat put the world to rights .anyhoo we ended, up in this tiny well presented cafe very clean, staff really nice, we had a normal sized breakfast... it came out piping hot toast nicely done ..butter not rock hard so we could not spread it coffee lovely and I'm fussy with my coffee and my daughter fussy with tea but real Yorkshire Tea..All in all a lovely experience and will definitely go again 😊

After a very disappointing experience having jacket potatoes in Melton Mowbray,we thought we would try here for lunch. It was terrific - I had jacket potato with savoury mince coleslaw and rocket. It was literally 4 times bigger than we had had in Melton Mowbray and less in price. My husband had a very good English breakfast. Nice friendly people too. Would definitely return.

The cafe itself is okay, very small but functional. I would add the prices are quite high as a negative and some staff are friendly whereas others ignored us. Overall, I would say it was not the best, nor worst cafe...

We had been shopping and wanted some tea. We could not resist the iced lemon curd cake it was delicious. The menu was varied and interesting

Después de un desayuno no muy bueno en nuestro hotel. Fuimos a la cafetería para el almuerzo. Yo tenía un plato de estofado de ternera casero con bolas. Estaba delicioso y muy abundante. Por lo tanto fuimos aquí casi cada día. Los desayunos son realmente agradable con un montón de opciones. Sí, se llena. Y a veces puede que tenga que esperar. Pero vale la pena. Este lugar es una cafetería al estilo francés. El servicio era bueno y el personal era amable. El café es excelente y llena de sabor. Pedimos Croque Monsieur y les encantó. Las tartas también estaban muy buenos. Fue un buen lugar para sentarse al sol y ver el mundo pasar.

I have been here many times with my sisters or husband, consistently good food all reasonably priced, fab cheese on toast, friendly atmosphere, keep supporting independent traders.:-)

Me and my partner have taken our 2 children here before, and we have always left pleased with the service and the food we have received.

Go for lunch regularly with my children and family Cozy and good service , seating simple. But staff friendly Nice coffee and baguettes , Great latte and desert

No me gusta dejar malas críticas pero he estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de un par de años y el servicio ha empeorado y peor. Qué ha olvidado o que esperar y esperar mientras que la camarera faffs. La comida cuando se trata, aunque generalmente es bueno.Teniendo en cuenta la demografía de la mayoría de los clientes (60+ - es mi creencia que fuimos en cuando estuvieron en los 40 y he estado esperando desde entonces) la música de elección ha desempeñado parece un poco extraño. Las estaciones de radio que jugar auto concretaron cosas como Tinchy Stryder et al.Me gusta apoyar a pequeñas empresas locales, pero me Sha no me molestaría en ir de nuevo y sin usar Costa al otro lado de la carretera.Es mejor evitarlo si tienes prisa.O no te gusta Tinchy Stryder.

I just went for a full English breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was an excellent breakfast, good bacon and sausages, beans, mushrooms, tomato, eggs, toast and coffee all for £6.20. Excellent food and great value, thoroughly recommended.

Good choice of food and drink, Service always friendly. Competitive prices.Whether you require a hot drink or something to eat you are guaranteed a warm welcome. Although prices have recently gone up slightly it is still cheaper than other coffee shops in the area.
