Brilliant. Just had another great meal in here, served by Jane. Five stars all round. Great food and service.

The food was amazing and came out really quickly after ordering. The service was very good, Jo and Zac looked after us really well and attended to all of our needs. The atmosphere was nice and chill and the perfect vibe for a winter night!

I came for an early lunch with my uncle today as he’s been to this pub before and really enjoys it. Jo welcomed us as soon as we came in and was so friendly and professional! Her service was very quick and attentive - she topped up the fire without us even having to ask and came back during the meal to check everything was okay also. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was so nice, I’d love to come back!:) Thanks Jo

Ordered beef roast via Uber. Got to be a joke. there was one small sliver of beef that was chewy and cold and as tough as an old plimsole. Paid extra for "Chestnut and bacon stuffing" and pigs in blankets that were both rock hard, burnt and inedible.

Pub was quite busy with both diners and drinkers but we couldn't fault the experience. Andy looked after us, was attentive and friendly with our children and we couldn't fault the food or service. We used to visit years ago but stopped due to it going downhill. Since the change in management, this establishment is getting better every time we visit.

We arrived for a pre booked 80th Birthday Party. The waitter advised that various meals were not available. So all 17 people seated and waiter advised they had no burger's, 1 streak, 1gammon, 3 pies chicken, no beef pie, no curries 2 fish, 3 of something else..... so we ordered to be told they had no mash potatoes........ went to the bar and they had ran out of bitter. The food was OK just so disappointed that the menu was not available and running out of beer in a pub ???

We are going for out 50th wedding anniversary tomorrow They are so accommodating and friendly Will update revue when we have been Review update Well what can I say Service, fantastic and such friendly staff We had 18 people one baby 3 cause meal with a few extras (Only cost £580 well impressed ) Served with wonder smile nothing was too much trouble for these guys Food was excellent can't fault a single thing We where not rushed at all What I will say (this was my own (fault) when have a large group booking and ordering 3 courses make sure you inform them of each course I didn't and it got a little confusing for the team of staff All in all would definitely go again Thank you so much for your wonderful staffs patients and understanding of my nutty family Kids where a little nutty but grandkids where well behaved

Sunday trio was absolutely delicious. The food was lovely - except the roast potatoes which were a little hard. Gravy was exceptional. Burger and chips was lovely and well presented. Lovely seating area in the restaurant and not too crowded. Service was ok - not the quickest. Was waiting for drinks ect. Staff pleasant Value for money was good Desserts were delicious but quite expensive and not loads of options Overall lovely meal

Sunday roast was amazing 10/10! Waitress wasn’t attentive, extra gravy took over 10 mins to arrive and the pint glasses were filthy which probably ruined the Guinness.

Booked a table for a roast. Wait time was ok. The main came out which was lukewarm, vegetables came out 5 mins which had clearly been microwaved the glazed carrots looked like they had been cremated. Was told that’s how they come as they are glazed……. Was offered a complimentary pudding which I declined as that was probably microwaved as well. Just wanted a nice roast, not asking much !

Waited over 5 minutes for someone to actually notice us only to be told that they weren't accepting walk-ins. There were at least 10 empty tables, no 'reserved' signs. Rubbish!

Becker, who served us, made our experience absolutely superb. Was so impressed with her, friendly, warm, welcoming and very professional. Absolutely delightful lady and a credit to your business. So refreshing to see that some young people actually understand customer service that seems to be a thing of the past. Amazing building, beautiful decor. Great food, steak cooked to the correct temperature, which is also rare these days. Ample parking, thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will recommend and return. Disappointed the cask ales were all off. That was one of the things that drew us to visit. Be interested to know the history of the farm as I had an interesting experience in the ladies that scared the hell out of me.....did someone take their life in that part of the house? Would not put me off coming back, will just have a wee in the carpark if I can't wait until I get home!

A lovely place for a warm day to sit outside. We had a fish finger sandwich and a roasted veg wrap. They were both delicious qnd very filling. The Aspall cider on tap is a deliciously refreshing drink on a hot day.

Best food in Oadby and brilliant service. It's our go to for a Sunday lunch but we still love to drop in during the week. The chicken avocado salad and the seabass are our favourites!

Great pub, lovely staff and the food was awesome

Met up with a couple of friends for lunch. Cannot fault the staff who were all lovely but sadly the food was very mediocre. I had the signature burger which was very overcooked and hard, with overcooked bacon, I like crispy but this was way more than crispy. Literally half a dozen fries that came with it and for £17.75 was definitely not worth the money. Then had a coffee that was lukewarm at best. Very sad but won't be going back
