The best restaurants serving British food in England

Bad atmosphere, the place is full of old codgers, each more miserable than the next. Despite the best efforts of the comedian behind the bar. Food is pretty decent. Stick to bottled Beers.

I was charged £7.40 for a takeaway of Pukka Pie, a portion of chips, and a sachet of ketchup. The pie was tepid, as were the elderly, grey soggy chips. I had three mouthfuls, found a bin on the High Street, and threw the rest away. I will never go back.

Not a very friendly welcome was had. Even booking a table a few days before we were asked to move three times when we sat where we were told to.

My favourite second hand shop, lots of new clothes (given to the shop as second hand) and new options to buy. Also coffee is really good!

Wonderful food and quite possibly the best chai latte I've ever had! The portion sizes are famous for being huge and they didn't disappoint again. It's so nice having this gem on my doorstep.

I work all over the UK and a lot at RAF northolt and this is THE BEST bacon egg fried onion roll I’ve ever eaten. If your travelling through hayes for work drop in 👌👌👌👌👌

Called in as it is in the CAMRA GBG. A tad disappointing as several hand pumps were dead. The Ashover Littlemoor Citra was in good order though.

Nos recomendaron The Miner's, así que pensamos en intentarlo por un cumpleaños familiar. Wow! ¡Qué lugar! Al cruzar la puerta nos transportaron de vuelta a una época de pubs adecuados, con el olor de la hermosa comida del pub. ¡Fue genial ver un negocio local bullir un viernes por la noche! Desde el momento en que entramos por la puerta tuvimos una cálida bienvenida y nos trataron como amigos. El servicio era excepcional y el ambiente muy relajante. ¡Entonces está la comida! ¡Fantástico! Comida casera apropiada. Maravillosos y impresionantes tamaños de porción. Mi marido tenía la hamburguesa del minero. ¡Fue épico! Si quieres buena hospitalidad en el viejo Yorkshire y comida increíble, tienes que ir a The Miner's. Definitivamente volveremos!

What a great little bar, really lovely beers and snacks!

Great place to comeand eat, I was greeted by the friendly staff on arrival and could see the locals being made to feel welcome. It's my second time here and I felt as though I was welcomed in with open arms. Great service nothing I added was to much trouble. Food was tasty and fresh. We will be back.

Great service. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. Coffee was nice, food was ok. I ordered a full English and it was served cold. Cold scrambled eggs, beans, etc. plates were cold too. It’s a small thing but could have changed that breakfast around just to warm the plates before serving up.

Un encantador restaurante de estilo francés en Roman Road. Primera visita para celebrar un par de cumpleaños y tener una salida prenavideña. Después de algún debate, como hacen un menú de Domingo Asado y a la carta, pedimos del menú de Navidad Comenzando con cócteles y aceitunas A continuación se combinaron varios entrantes, entre ellos salmón ahumado y remolacha, rillette de pato con tostadas de pan agrio y bouillabaisse con mucho marisco.
