Falcon Cafe in Medway

Very welcoming staff who are polite, nothing is to much. The food is served quickly and is hot. Will allow you to change things on the menu that you don’t like for thinks you do, brilliant for fussy eaters. Generous portion sizes and good prices

I've been coming to this cafe lots over the past few months, to have coffee and breakfast and work on my laptop while my house was being renovated. Its bustling and has a nice atmosphere, and the breakfasts are big and decently priced. However, on my last visit the owner came over and told me he wasn't happy for me to be using my laptop to work there. It seemed really odd as the cafe wasn't full, and a bit mean as I'd been there so many times over the last few months and never held back from ordering food and drinks. I know not every cafe likes people working there, but I think they're missing a trick as many people do like to work in cafes, and they way they dealt with it was really unfriendly.

A good breakfast , but the menu seems to be available all day. Friendly service and food gets to you quickly . Good value , used a lot by workers for breakfast

Excellent, hot breakfast. Cooked to order. Superb coffee. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. What’s not to like. Popped in on the off chance as it was opposite the Park Run my wife was doing 😞

It was more busier than usual, but nothing was affected during our visit. Friendly staff with a good quality menu. The food we ordered tasted good. We continually come back here as it’s such a nice place.

Been using this cafe for nearly a year all food cooked to order and cooked well very good presentation and clean Staff very helpful and nothing is too much trouble Highly recommend

The smell of breakfast hits you as you walk in the café. A pleasant atmosphere, quiet and cosy. A simple menu but with good choice of fry ups, sandwiches and lunchtime meals. The staff were polite and served with a smile.

Very good staff, food always of a good standard, and not slow even when busy. Good selection too, including kids menu.

Had a lovely full English, cooked just how I like it. I would recommend this little cafe. So much nicer eating looking over a field watching dog walkers, than staring out at a high st. If you are as old as me you'll remember it as The falcon pub.

I eat regularly at the falcon? All the food is freshly prepared, can recommend the liver and the pasta dishes I have regularly eaten here for the past three years , staff always welcoming and cafe always clean Drop in an find out for yourself

Absolute gem of a cafe! I highly recommend coming here if you are visiting or local. And try the chefs specials too. A friend and I had the liver grill today with extra peas and the whole meal was perfect! The liver was delicious. I also recommend the penne pasta which is both delicious and generous. Besides the fabulous food and great location, the staff are very polite, attentive and friendly. Spotless environment and a good garden space too. Happy customer 😊

Went for a spot of lunch - it’s local and is in walking distance. First time going and it wasn’t too bad. Seating area is small and could be tight if like us you have a buggy. Service was good and attentive. Food was ok, tasted good and value for money.

In need of a breakfast treat. Not been here for years think it's changed hands, just sat down and their power goes pop. I thought great no breakfast waiting for the friendly waitress to say they had to close but as soon as they went pop the power came back on. Built my own breakfast see picture. Tasted as good as it looked

Nice breakfast but well overpriced, most cafe you get a tea or coffee in the price. 3 breakfasts come to nearly £30.

Fancied a cafe lunch, decided to go to the Falcon as previous visits we good. Had a mug of tea while deciding what to have, chose egg burger as this came with chips a sausage and an extra egg on the side. Waited for about 15 minutes and noticed a couple of people who came after got the food before me, as I was not in a rush I waited, five minutes later along came mine a fried egg a sausage and an egg burger no chips!! I said to the lady I thought on the menu the burger came with chips she took the plate away two minutes later came back with the plate and said the chips will follow soon, by this time my eggs had gone hard. So I made a sandwich with the sausage, the chips came hot and Crispy. Shame about the service.

Very clean and healthy food Workers very smiley and kind. Lovely place and lanscape is wonderfull. I really reconmend this.

Awesome little cafe, friendly staff and great food. Chips are awesome and I love the chicken curry. Portion sizes are very good too.

This cafe is clean, well maintained and the food was served in a timely manner. The staff were al exceptionally friendly and happy. The food came out and I looked at my partners and said "oh would you look at that". We all ate the food and was exceptionally pleased with the quality. Would highly recommend

We discovered this cafe when working in Gillingham, we found the food very nice and very friendly staff, the one thing I think should be included in the price is the tea and coffee, apart from that all good.

We have been a regular at the Falcon for many years, and continued going after the previous owners sold up.

Bien, hasta el café de la tierra. Tenía un buen desayuno inglés. Menú es lo suficientemente variada para más para encontrar algo. Puede conseguir mañana muy concurrido fin de semana ya es popular con el parque dirigido multitud.

Este es el mejor cafe que sé en Gillingham. El servicio es eficiente, pero amable y la comida recién hecha. Buen tamaño de las porciones y buena selección de los alimentos. Estaremos encantados de recomendar a cualquiera.

A good location with big windows to look out towards the park. Walking distance from the library, town and sports centre. Restricted parking outside just read the time plates to comply with restrictions.A lovely smiling greeting on arrival seated quickly and served efficiently. Order catered to our requirements and cooked fresh. No nasty greasy smells in the room, light and airy. Clean, tidy and comfortable seating arrangements. Clean and fresh toilet facilities.Food was tasty and everything you can expect and want from a cafe with a good cup of tea/coffee.

First time here, the reviews looked good so we gave it a go.Very friendly, all day breakfasts, I liked that you can assemble your own breakfast from the list of ingredients if you wish, and it was not that pricey. Kept very clean, nice view onto the park, where we were entertained by some-one flying aerobatics with a radio-controlled plane - a bonus! Parking is limited to two-hours on the street outside, we found spaces ok.

Never had a bad breakfast/meal from here, always good food and staff are always friendly and helpful.

This place was a small pub before it became a cafe! Its quite small but the staff are a friendly bunch & their food is always lovely. Never had any excuse to complain!Prices are very reasonable toIt can get busy between 9am & 11am as parkrun runners use it weekly but they are a friendly bunch.!!

Went to the Falcon and had a builders breakfast with extra black pudding with a cup of coffee . I got there at a reasonably quiet time ( normally very busy ) . Again didn't have to wait very long for a perfectly cooked brekkie . Very attentitive staff , clean table , clean cutlery . Too me this is the best place I've had a brekkie so far . Maybe a coffee or tea should be included in with the original price but that's only a small gripe . Defo go back again .....give it a try

Had a hospital appointment 18/07/2016 and popped in about 08:15 for a couple of sausages and eggs, take away so I could eat them in the car whilst waiting.Friendly staff, the place was very clean and well presented and I had a quick toilet break and the loos were spotless. I will be back

My friend decided to take me to this small restaurant for lunch and after a fairly long wait, (due to staff shortage at thee time), I was pleasantly surprised at how well we were treated. Very apologetic for the waiting time. Although we only had sandwiches, they were beautifully done and arranged. Staff that were there were extremely pleasant and would definitely recommend this establishment, even if only for a coffee.

have been here several ( more than 20 ) times and have always enjoyed my breakfast. have had a couple of other meals which were also good. The cafe has a warm friendly atmosphere and the owner and his family are always welcoming and happy. a good safe friendly place to eat.

I have been here for lunch on several occasions and their jacket potatoes are second to none. Tasty and beautifully cooked. I also tried the healthy breakfast which was lovely as well

Turkish staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. There is parking over the road on some days. They do take away food and the portions are good for the prices.

Good food, good price, friendly staff, could not fault it, happy to go there again. Parking is not provided but can be sort just 10 meters from the venue. Good selection of food on the menu and potion size was excellent.

My son told me about this place after going there will workmates one lunchtime and having the all day breakfast. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Prices are reasonable and the food was good. We had the breakfast Saturday morning and will be coming back.

Great small cafe. Been here many times on a Saturday morning. Usually very busy but the staff work really hard.The large cappuccino is very good and worth going for this alone.Breakfast menu is good and the food is tasty and freshly cooked to order.

The staff are very helpful, the tables are cleaned as soon as someone leaves. But the best bit is the food, which is excellent and the salads, main or side, are to die for.If there are no table available then wait or come back, you will not be disappointed.

I went for my second visit today to this café, at quite a busy lunch time, but still got the fantastic service I was expecting after my first visit a month or so ago. I have two small children, and the staff were extremely engaging and accommodating. There is a good choice of meals for a small café, and all the food we've tried has been fresh and tasty, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely be coming back!

Best breakfast in Medway. Very reasonable price, great choice, friendly staff. Only downside here is parking.

The Falcon is a really lovely cafe. We eat here regularly, they are so friendly. The place is always spotless, and for such a little place there is a lot of choice on the menu. The details always impress me - so often at cafes there is no side salad to speak of or a few limp leaves - at the Falcon every ingredient is good quality and fresh, salads are lovely, portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. It is starting to be discovered so be careful - at lunch times you might have to wait for a table!

Good menu choices, definitely something for everyone. Breakfast menu is decent and can personalise which is good.Great service, friendly and cheerful.Food was lovely, freshly cooked, nice runny egg and beautiful mushrooms! Bubble also best I've had in quite sime time & the bread was awesome.I would go as far as to say it's better than Tuck Inn.Will definitely be back!

This is a very good cafe with a large choice of dishes. I had a tuna & sweetcorn jacket potato which had a proper side salad with it, not just a lettuce leaf and a cherry tomato.My friend had the corned beef salad which was huge and was less than £4!Very friendly staff and you get waitress service as well.

This has to be the best and cleanest cafe in Medway. Great food with great service.You cannot fault this place 10/10.Friendly atmosphere and very comfortable.

Had another fantastic breakfast. Very friendly, beautifully presented food, and incredibly clean. The owner greets customer as tho he remembers no matter how long since the last visit. Very easy to park and close to Medway hospital. Oh and a Lovely environment.overlooking the park Next visit I will try and resist eating long enough to take photos

Just tucked 2 minutes walk away from Gillingham Town centre is the Falcon. This clean and inviting cafe serves what may be the best breakfast in the Medway Towns. The young and enthusiastic owner aways greets his costumers with a smile and a friendly chat. The food is served quickly and in my experience is always first rate. There is free parking close by and the cafe in just across the road from the Great Lines park and so is ideally located for after that energetic dog walk or game of football. Give the Falcon a try, it really quite good.
