Given the reviews we were expecting good things. The staff were friendly enough , but the food at best was average , for example soggy toast with a spread of very dubious origin. Butter it was not. The poached eggs to go with the toast were solid too. Consequently we have not been back

Lovely kebab and lovely portions - always hot and high quality. Ignore the reviews that say this ain’t great it is! And if you moan your food is cold. Then use a microwave, it’s winter it will loose heat it transit! 5-5 stars quality food and very good prices, a lot of places around here are a rip off, can’t go wrong with this place.

took my cams no order they reckon they didt get to ipad in time pml and they reckon it will go back on card within two hours dont pay by card SCAMMER ALERT and staff are SO RUDE jog on wasters

Ok reason for above I’m a heating engineer and have been for some 44yrs now so as u can imagine I’ve been in a cafe or 5,000 🤪 and this one I visit at twice a week and have so since it opened and it has never disappeared and staff are really friendly

Had breakfast this morning with my family and as always the food was cooked fresh and was delicious, portion size is great and the staff could not be more friendly. Clearly people were having a Xmas treat as it was packed! Best cafe in Medway by far.

Tasted great but as you can see from the picture.. for £13 almost you would expect it to look nicer..

Don’t usually write reviews but the kebab tonight was exceptional. Different meat to any other place I’ve been to, sliced flatter, cooked to perfection.

Absolutely cooked to perfection. Family all use parkwood kebab house. Staff are very polite and friendly. Best of all food tastes great.

One of the best cafes in medway. Foods always perfect. Staff are so welcoming and always accommodating, both on my own and with my family. The place gets that busy it needs more seating! As a regular they know exactly what i want when i walk in as they remember their customers. Which is what a cafe is all about.

Order from here many times but last couple of times had items missing and what was received was not very nice at all. This occasion had no salad or pot of sauce that we ordered extra and what we did receive doner and chicken doner were undercooked and chips were overcooked and couldn’t be eaten. When we contacted the restaurant customer service was very minimal and unhelpful no offer of replacement and no offer of missing items to be sent to us no offer of refund. The food is overpriced for quality and quantity compared to other kebab takeaways! Definitely will not be using this takeaway again and certainly don’t recommend!

The food was poor, but the staff was amiable and helpful. Had chicken shish chicken was so tough.

I’ve ordered from here plenty of times before. A really great kebab takeaway! I haven’t tried their pizzas yet, but everytime I’ve gotten a kebab I’ve been really happy. Would highly recommend

Used this kebab shop on and off for a few years now and the last 2-3 times we’ve order we’ve had items missing and what we have received has been overcooked or undercooked and just not very nice. This tie we received NO salad or pot of sauce (the same as last time), the chips were overcooked and not edible and the doner and chicken doner were undercooked, when we contacted the restaurant customer service was not helpful, no apology no fee of replacement or refund absolute disgrace! It is overpriced for quality of food.We are regulars when it comes to kebab takeaways/delivery and have never experienced anything like the way this takeaway deals with complaints about the food the serving or not in some cases. Will NOT be using again and will not be recommending!

We visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There were lots of set menu options but none of them were quite what we wanted. However this was not a problem as the waitress was happy to swap out the items for what we wanted at no extra cost which was appreciated. The seating was very comfortable, and when the breakfast arrived it was served hot. The only negatives were that the sausages were very dry as if they had been pre-cooked and left heating, and the condiment pots, salt, pepper and sauce were dirty and sticky. The service was friendly and polite throughout.

Standard little cafe in Parkwood precinct, good selection of foods and drinks. I've only ever come in the mornings for breakfast, when you fancy a fry up. You can get set meals or just choose your own as each item has it's own price. Topped with a cup of tea as well, can't be beaten and sometimes nicer than driving to Dobbies.

What a fabulous find…..great range of food and is cooked freshly on the premises ……You can alter things in the Set meals which is a nice change. The staff are very friendly and are more than willing to help you in anyway they can. I now come here rather than the Cafes closer to me as I feel like part of the family😘 Reg, Chelsea and Jimmy keep up the good work …see you soon Sue x

Great Kebab !! Quick service , recommend

Ordered for the first time last night. Had the 3 in 1 kebab box (Lamb & chicken shish & lamb kofte). All the meat was great, quality of salad was just right and sauces complemented the meat. The chilli sauce was not too hot. It was delivered promptly too. Will definitely order again.

Had breakfast here and was not disappointed. Lots if choice food was hot. Good size portions and lovely coffee. Value for money . Very friendly staff . Be back soon 👍

Place is nice and clean and well seated. Chips were over cooked. Burger was alright. Service was fairly prompt. Average overall.

Have never had a problem with this place as the food is always good but tonight 08/01/21 they have been ever so poor. The food turned up wrong we rang up to tell them and they said they will replace it which was fine an hour had gone by and nothing... rang again and the lady who answered the phone didn’t know what she was doing... then passed us onto someone else and said we are coming to get wrong food and you have the money back, has gone rather downhill recently...

Just a simple average local cafe that doesn't sell exciting food, just sell traditional food in a cafe .

Crumbs! What can I say? I walked into this establishment on Saturday evening at around 6.45pm, the store was reasonably busy with many of the customers sitting there with sorry looks upon their faces, little did I know that I would soon become one of these unhappy customers. I ordered a very simple order that should have had me in and out of the door within 5 minutes sharp!... but no, I sat there and was able to read 'War and Peace' from cover to cover without any disturbance. The six manned kitchen was struggleing to keep up with the customers orders, this was suprising considering they had everything from burgers, chicken, pitta breads, jelly and ice cream sitting on the grill pilled up as high as the celing. I eventually got home bruised, battered and half the man I once was by the onslaught I recieved at Parkwood Kebab, I was hoping for perfection, but was left disapointed. Hopefully the team at Parkwood Kebab can iron out their timing issues as I have a christening to host next week.

Had a mixed meat kebab (doner & chicken) got a lot of meat, then the salad was added, which tasted nice and fresh. Chilli sauce is nice a hot Very friendly staff definitely recommend.

Love coming here for a lunch or breakfast Reg and his staff are lovely the food is freshly cooked and there is a great atmosphere, nothing is to much trouble and the coffee is great 👍

My partner and I visited here late at night and ordered a Parkwood #2 kebab. We asked if there was any way we could have just 1 extra ingredient in our kebab and were told, no, if we wanted that ONE extra ingredient we would have to get a Parkwood #1 kebab which was an extra £10 and had 5 extra ingredients we didn't want. We went for it anyway, but ended up throwing all the extras away that we didn't want. Won't be going again and wouldn't recommend. Any excuse to grab more money out of people. Surely it should be about CCC (Customer Centred Care.)

My group of friends meets weekly for breakfast tea and a chat. We recently tried this cafe and were knocked out by the quality of food for a "greasy spoon". Varied English breakfasts are served together, the portions fair and quality good, the only downside is it can be too busy at times! Prices are average, the tea in a mug is hot and strong, the clients is mixed as many women as men.

Have been using Parkwood Cafe ever since it opened. Usually visit with my Dad and brother for breakfast, staff are lovely and welcoming, always remember who you are. The food is always good quality and never too greasy like some other cafes in the area. Good value for money and always feels like home!

A relaxed, helpful and friendly service at an excellent price. It is run by the owner who works very hard to provide a consistently brilliant service. I would say it has no equal in the area. Ample free parking is close by.

We popped in for a Lunchtime snack, Was greeted by very friendly staff, very helpful for dietery needs Gluten etc,,Had a jacket potato, plus salad,was very pleased with it, the salad was lovely and freshly made, The jacket potato was perfect too, a good size,well cooked, lashings of cheese,as ordered.great value for money.Would definately go again. Well worth a visit.Prices are great, good size menu to choose from.

Absolutely the best cafe in the country. Has saved my life on more than one occasion when I have been absolutely hanging.The lads that run it are 100% the friendliest, nicest people and turn out breakfasts like they're on rails.Could not rate this gaff more highly.

Had all day breakfast. Good service lovely food and drinks. Rather hectic lots of people in this popular cafe . Good value for money. The welcome was a little luke warm . Seating was abit basic but a open until 2pm on Sunday.

Got a nice full English in here for a good price too. Tea was ok but like most cafes tasted like cheap teabags might not of been but just tasted that way but I'd recommend the place.

The guys in this place are very friendly, jolly and helpful. They remember what you’ve had in the past. I’ve often been miles away from this place when I’ve felt a bit peckish and it’s always the place I head to.

It is a nice, clean cafe where you can see them cooking. They do a good breakfast for very reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I pop in from time to time for a good old bacon sarnie! I walk in and one of the chaps who always serves me will straight away get my sarnie on the go!

You pay for what you get. Food was reasonable standard. You have to park in the main Parkwood car park and walk through.

They can't do more for you here we go very regularly. They even get my green tea in for me and always they remember what you normally have and how you like it cooked. It's clean, friendly and welcoming. Very good cooks.

The food was very good. The staff there are so friendly that it did not feel like a Café more like having lunch in a friends house.

I have eaten in many cafes and have found the food served here be it breakfast or lunch very tasty and good portions. The cafe is nice and clean and the meals turned out in such a small area amazing. For a simple and quick meal I wouldn't think twice about eating here. Offence is not taken if you say how you like your eggs cooked.

A nice little cafe to pop in for the local community. Everything a British Cafe should be. Clean and tidy with clean and tidy toilet facilities. Service attentive and good value cooked foods with a flat screen TV to watch whilst eating or reading your paper.

Guy always remembers and very welcoming. Good honest food. Tasty and not full of grease. All in all recommended.

This cafe is in walking distance to my house, great for breakfasts at the weekend but also serves a great range of other food. You can get a great roast every day of the week. The people are really friendly and take the time to chat and get to know you.

I've been to this cafe three times now and every time it has been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We turned up the first time with two prams and turned away when we looked and thought there wouldn't be room. A nice guy called after us and said to come in and made space for the prams and quickly got a high chair and made sure it was nice and clean for us. Highchairs are never clean so I liked that. The food is always tasty, hot and quickly served. The sausages in a tiger loaf roll is my favourite and I've popped in for a takeaway as well as eaten in. The jacket potatoes are also nice and were a generous portion with salad and coleslaw. The staff really are very lovely and friendly and can't do enough for you. It makes for a really nice atmosphere and I'll certainly keep going back.
