Great local pub. Does great Thai food with selection of British food too recommend booking a table for Sunday lunches however.

Great food great service. Value for money

We go here occasionally for the Thai food on Mondays, excellent value for money. The food is amazing. I can’t remember the last time I ordered a main for under a tenner. Well done

Nice food, reasonable prices, shame about the Shep's beer. (Well looked after but after the years as a brewer one would expect it not to be so out classed.

Was not what I expected from a Shepherd Neame pub. The pint and bar staff was good, but was left disappointed by the beer garden and menu choice.

food was amazing as ever but the delivery was no where near good enough. something was forgotten on the order and to get the missing item delivered was painful! apparently the first delivery driver can use a sat nav but the next driver had a little trouble. took nearly 45 mins to get the missing item delivered when the pub rectified the issue within 10mins. delivery was the problem not the pub and it's not the first time delivery has been an issue when using just eat. probably pick up next time.

Probably the best Sunday roast in Rainham.

This is the best Sunday roast in Rainham by far. Hayley and Helen know their stuff. Known for the Thai food but I can confirm that on recent Thursday, I experienced the best mixed grill in Rainham as well.

Fantastic food, great service. Unbelievable prices especially on a Monday when the special offer is on. Hurlimanns larger served on tap as its a Sheperd and Neame pub. Just remember your in a pub not a top end restaurant when you start looking around at fixtures and fittings. Would definitely return here

It was fully booked so had a take away roast, absolutely 10 out of 10 , every bit as good , as if we had eaten in . Phoned them to let them know how much we all enjoyed it

This is my second visit for Sunday lunch. There roast dinners are lovely and the staff are so friendly and always make you feel welcome. Took other family members who haven’t been before and they loved it and said they would definitely come back.

Had a lovely roast was delicious and bar staff so nice and friendly definitely will be back best to book though very busy.

Had a lovely lamb roast dinner today with three friends, could not fault the food or the staff, will definitely be going back again.

2 of us called in here for drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The service was friendly and there was a good atmosphere. Both the beer and the cider was fine.

Rose Inn is the typical English pub. Small, with the bar in the centre of it and that odour that either you like it or you hate it. Food is great and the service as well, but the atmosphere might not be for everyone. A bit dated, it would look much better with a refurbishment.

We had a takeaway delivered, the food was amazing would highly recommend it

I was shocked, positively shocked! I did not expect anything like that. I have not tried the English menu but will try next time. But the Thai menu is so tasty. If you are local, forget about any other Thai takeaway or restaurant, and if you are not local, don't be lazy and get there anyway as it is definitely worth trying. I have tried Chicken Pad Thai Noodles, nice portion, fantastic taste, not too spicy, just right and only £7.95. I wasn't hungry anymore, just greedy, and I also wanted to try another dish, so I have ordered another Thai main, this time Beef Massaman £7.95 again and Egg Fried Rice £3.50. Another great experience, meat was so tender and succulent. In addition to this, fantastic Thai beer. Very friendly atmosphere and clean tables. I will definitely come back even though I am not local and would recommend this place to best friend. Well done, Rose Inn Team!

First time here and what a gem. Lovely friendly staff went out of their way to make our evening special. There are two menus, traditional pub fare and Thai menu. I ate from the Thai and the beef curry was amazing. Puddings were good sized portions and all the food is very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going again.

Food was great, delivered on time and arrived hot. We love Thai cuisine. The Thai green curry just needs to be tweaked by an ingredient or two as the distinctive taste of this curry wasn't quite there. Beef massaman was on point. Most importantly the food was still very nice, well portioned and obviously edible. We will definitely order again in the future. Unless you want to pay the ridiculous price range from Thaii fusion for example who charge restaurant prices for their take away options the Rose inn is your best bet who has priced their food very reasonably.

Another delicious delivery from The Rose Inn - this time we went for the burger and mixed grill - can't fault the quality, quantity, taste and value - love their Thai menu but fancied a change and was not disappointed - and they've kept their prices realistic and affordable, no compromise on quality, unlike many of the takeaways around here who have massively inflated their prices way above the inflation rates!!! Good, honest grub - 5*

Amazing Thai lunch for under £10 on a Monday lunchtime. I went with my cousin and was greeted by a lovely lady who gave us a menu and seated us. I ordered a takeaway which was given at the end of our lunch. A real gem which I would highly recommend for a quick Thai lunch in Rainham on a Monday

Had cajun chicken and mushrooms with melted stilton again. I have very few take aways now but every now and then i will have a treat and what a treat this was. If I had to pick one over the other I would choose the mushrooms but thats taking nothing away from the chicken. Absolutely delicious. Thanks.

The Thai food at this pub is to die for. Some of the best I've ever tasted. Very good pricing too. It's more a 'locals' pub but each visit everyone was friendly and welcoming. A great little gem in Rainham.

Good value Sunday lunch in family friendly pub. I had the Lamb roast dinner. Pint and large red wine, which was under £20. Great value and good service.

Great Thai food and top quality Shepard Neame Master Brew ale. We had green Thai curry, which was good value and flavours, so could not fault it. Just a shame that only 1 real ale was on.

Great roast dinner, great value

food was lovely it would have tasted nicer if it was hot. this was not the fault of the rose inn it is the just eat drivers who couldnt care less and then when they get to you its nothing but bad manners being aggressive and rude. next time i will use another delivery company just eat is getting bad

Superb! The Thai menu was delicious, even the rice is seasoned to perfection, and the speed my son wolfed down the lasagne can only mean that was lovely too! Excellent quality, really tender beef, generous portions and piping hot on delivery. Very impressed!

Beer price quite expensive at just short of a fiver. Thai food excellent and at a reasonable price. Could be a nice pub but lots of swearing from other punters do put a downer on the place and could put families off.

Was in the area so went for some lunch. Staff were very friendly. Typical pub decor but clean. Good pub food choice on menu. My husband had cheese and bacon burger with chips and I had smoked haddock fish cakes with chips and peas. Nicely cooked with reasonable portion.

I use this pub regularly now for the Sunday roast which is most delightful and the service is always exceptional.

Hands down the best Thai curry in the world. Came here with a stag party in the afternoon. Only time we were quiet was when the curry was in front of us. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
