The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving British food

The venue is called Sunny's now, has been for over a year, but this website hasn't updated anything. Find it on the map, ask for the restaurant down the steps, enjoy some damn good food. The review: This venue has both a takeaway above ground, and a restaurant slightly below, with two different but similar menus, featuring fish and chips, kebabs and Indian inspired recipes for stuffed naans and mixed grills. Family got the large cod, large haddock and the aforementioned mixed grill and they were all fantastic! The batter on the fish was crispy and full of flavour (hard to find a chippy these days that can live up to the chippies of yesteryear but this venue nailed it!) and the chips were perfect. The Indian mixed grill featured fish bites, chicken grilled in three different ways, all served on a bed of roasted onions, served with side salad and naan (I went with keema). The flavours were incredible, not too spicy but quite overwhelming, which is what I was hoping for and this venue delivered with gusto! The naan was excellent, the salad was a little out of place but I daresay other customers will get a lot of the additional crunch. It was so much food that we had to take half of it away with us in a takeaway box, which the manager arranged without a second's hesitation. The manage in question, Jamie (hopefully the right spelling, forgot to ask), was not only helpful but brilliantly enthusiastic and very accomodating to our order changing so many times and all the extras we asked for. Just for her professionalism alone, we would make the journey from Lincoln to Horncastle again, and we'll be recommending this place to all of our friends. Bill was nice and light for what we were served too, would have happily paid a tenner more, it was spotless and the atmosphere was spot on, music not too loud and lots of care and attention has gone into the decor. Mi hija organizó una fiesta de cumpleaños para su novio en la habitación privada de arriba. El personal fue excelente durante todo el montaje y la noche. La sala es excelente para fiestas privadas, ya que tiene su propio bar y sistema de música. Bonito pub abajo, muy moderno y acogedor. La comida que tuvimos era buena, una pequeña queja fue que las pizzas estaban bien, pero no muy bien

This has now opened as Gabriel’s Tapas Bar. The food is delicious , freshly made and very tasty. The owners are extremely friendly. Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Este lugar abre recientemente y tiene un dueño que acosa a mujeres y niños porque decide entrar al área local ya que están haciendo una parrillada, en terrenos que son privados, todo el vecindario está hablando de su comportamiento repugnante solo porque no quiere "competencia" de los residentes privados que tienen un picnic privado. Ocúpate de tu propio maldito negocio, se supone que este negocio es una empresa social, una empresa social, mi a s sUna cosa más, su comida es cara en primer lugar.

This was our second Christmas Lunch here, and both were very enjoyable. The food and service was good. We were totally satisfied with everything. Nothing much more to be said!

Was led to believe this place had been done up I am not sure how can it be in worse shape than it was previously not good something is just off with this place would not recommend it to anyone very strange.

Rarely feel compelled to write a review, but loved my meal here. Seafood platter to share gorgeous, steak salad lovely and chocolate trio amazing. Seems a small thing, but chips were properly homemade too. Service ace. Only £4 for Butty Bach. My new fave place to eat.

Now called ACORN WESTERLEIGH. Namek and Richard have done a great job with completely changing this establishment. Now an Italian restaurant open from 0830 - 230pm and 5-10pm in the evenings with a great menu! A must try for everyone!

Cheap beers in process of upgrade but doesnt affect service

Great value for money. Stayed in a family room. Very clean, decor lovely, well equipped with hot beverages, biscuits, bottled water & toiletries. Tv & sitting area. Great central location, friendly helpful staff, lovely breakfast & just really good value for money. Definitely visit again if in the area. Car park next to hotel £2.50 for 24 hours.

Fabulous food and service was fast and friendly. Great safe environmen. Big improvement from a few years ago, love visiting now
