I had a great supper here after a doctor’s appointment, but they could do with listening to orders more carefully. I had to repeat some of my order and pay for that part after somebody else had paid because they didn’t hear me the first time.

Scam Alert – Poor Quality and Overpriced Food! I want to warn others about a very disappointing experience I had with this establishment. I recently ordered the Pitta Chicken meal, expecting a decent portion and good flavor for the £6.00 price. Unfortunately, what I received was shocking. The portion was incredibly small—barely enough to be considered a proper meal. It felt like I was being ripped off from the moment I opened the packaging. Not only was the quantity unsatisfactory, but the taste was also far from enjoyable. The chicken lacked flavor, was dry, and clearly not fresh. There was nothing appealing about the texture or seasoning, and it certainly didn’t feel like a meal worth the money charged. I’ve had better meals elsewhere for half the price. To make matters worse, the presentation and customer service didn’t do anything to redeem the experience. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend hard-earned money on something that not only fails to meet basic expectations but also feels like a blatant scam. I strongly urge others to think twice before ordering from this place. There are many other local spots offering better food, larger portions, and more reasonable prices. Don’t fall for the pictures or descriptions—what you get is nothing like what’s advertised. Save your money and avoid the disappointment. This place is not worth it.

Very nice food, service and views. The atmosphere was like a nice old pub with local people. Highly recommended.

El mejor abrevadero local en Londres! Julia y Richard han hecho un excelente trabajo de curaduría de sabrosas cervezas y deliciosos vinos que seguramente complacerán a cualquiera. El ambiente cálido y acogedor le atrae y le hace olvidar que hace frío y llueve fuera. El alojamiento es excelente. Cama muy cómoda y habitación bien equipada. Conveniente ubicación al metro, y una parada de autobús justo al lado de la puerta. Nos encantó cada segundo de nuestra estancia de 2 semanas. ¡Volveremos!

Since Dale and Big Smoke have taken on the Brick it has morphed into a fantastic pub fully supported by all the locals. The beer choice is excellent as is the food. There is now a genuine interest in the pub and with the Irish music and quiz nights it’s hard to stay out of the place. After years of it virtually being empty it’s great to see locals flocking back.

Very sadly this pub now seems to be closed. It was shut on Thursday evening when we came past. And there was a large SOLD sign on the building. :(. (Hopefully it will be reopened as a pub someone soon )
