This was our second Christmas Lunch here, and both were very enjoyable. The food and service was good. We were totally satisfied with everything. Nothing much more to be said!

We were given the afternoon tea as a gift and pleased to say it was an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal was very well presented and everything was top quality and very tasty. Would have no problem in recommending this to anyone wanting to do something a bit different.

As my appetite is not great I went for two starters. Firstly smoked salmon with grapefruit. Secondly a prawn risotto with a grilled cheese lattice. Whilst the initial colour was not so appetising- it was actually delicious. A very large starter portion. Bread was warm served with butter. Finished off with a very attractively presented cheese board. Service was a tad slow but no issue as in no hurry! The barman made a good Margarita. The New Zealand Sauvignon was good. I noticed that afternoon tea in this restaurant seems to be very popular (too big for my reduced appetite!)

Took mum for afternoon tea. Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Sandwiches were ok. Prosecco chilled and the cakes were gorgeous. Would suggest different sandwich fillings but would recommend.

My husband and I really enjoyed our starter, I had the liver parfait and my husband had the eggs benedict with salmon. My main was gnocchi, which was the same size as my starter and husband’s beef check had a weird tasting sauce.

Comenzaré por el principio, algunas noches esperaban estar sentados durante más de 5 minutos sin nadie a la vista. Luego te sientas porque has dejado de esperar, luego esperas otra vez para obtener los menús y tomar tu pedido. Sin oferta de bebidas, tenga que decir "Oh, por cierto, también podemos conseguir algunas bebidas", luego el personal desaparecerá de nuevo en la cocina hasta que traigan su comida. Cuando termine sus platos principales y todo esté despejado, no se le preguntará si nos gustaría un postre. A continuación, debe rastrear a alguien en el bar para poder liquidar la factura. En una nota positiva, la comida es encantadora y la espera no es demasiado larga, es el servicio del personal.

Asistió con un amigo que había recibido un cupón. La camarera fue muy útil intercambiando rellenos de sándwiches y pasteles a nuestras preferencias. Los bocadillos estaban en pan muy fresco y estaban deliciosos. Los bollos estaban calientes y crujientes por fuera y suaves y ligeros por dentro. Los pasteles también eran muy frescos y sabrosos.

Comimos aquí en tres ocasiones durante mi estancia en el hotel Llandudno Bay recientemente. En dos de estas noches, nuestras comidas estaban bien, muy bonitas y perfectamente comestibles, pero no eran lo que esperábamos de un hotel de este calibre. Quizás fue lo que pedimos, pero ambos tuvimos comidas completamente diferentes, así que no estoy seguro. La segunda noche comimos aquí, nuestras comidas eran muy agradables, por lo que decidimos comer allí en la tercera y última noche.

Staying at the hotel overnight and booked an evening meal in the restaurant and were blown away by the delicious food and pleasant service.Everything was superb including the presentation and the wine list is unbelievable.Everyone who served us was smiley and pleasant and it was lovely to have such good food served by people that we were sure cared about what we were eating.Fabulous meal and if we return to this part of the country we will have no hesitation dining at this restaurant again.

My wife and I returned to Llandudno Bay Hotel, for an afternoon tea with our mothers, having experienced one in January. Again we were met with an extremely warm welcome which was continued by all staff during our visit. The afternoon tea itself was very nice, with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. There were no issues when two of the glasses of prosecco were changed for soft drinks. The restaurant as before was an extremely pleasant place to spend an hour, with lovely views of the seafront.

We booked afternoon tea using a groupon voucher ,paying £25.00 for 2 people half the original cost ,the afternoon tea was OK ,sandwiches where a bit basic but for £12.50 per person including a glass of prosecco it was OK, I would have been most disappointed if I had paid £25.00 per person

Came here with my two grandmothers and my Mother for an afternoon tea on Sunday. Service was great from the start! The prosseco drinks were exchanged for tomato juices for my Grandmothers with no fuss. We went there at lunch time hoping it would be enough for a meal and the 4 different sandwiches and 4/5 different cakes certainly did the job. Highly recommended afternoon tea! Lemon drizzle was perhaps the only shortfall as it was a bit dry. Everything else was spot on! Diolch

Came here with my sister - in - law for afternoon tea, courtesy of a groupon offer. The setting was lovely, we had a table by a big bay window. It was nice and warm in there, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Staff were pleasant and polite, and the food was really nice, plentiful, and very fresh.

My friend booked us an afternoon here with prosecco, sandwiches, cakes and tea and coffee as a treat.

I don't usually write reviews on Tripadvisor but felt compelled to following a visit to the Llandudno Bay Hotel for afternoon tea last week.

Glad we decided to pick here for my sisters little get together before her wedding. There are many places in and around llandudno that serve afternoon tea. Service was very good, being asked if we wanted anything else, more tea/coffee more than once. It came on a miniature park bench, well presented. Overall I enjoyed it, nice setting and furnishings. I would give a 5* if the cake sizes were a little bigger, I have eyes bigger than my stomach.

We stayed in the hotel so took advantage of the restaurant. Great starters, amazing fillet steak. Fabulous ribs and some lovely wine. We will definitely be eating here again and work our way through the lovely menu. Great staff professional and polite.

My step children bought afternoon tea for my husband's 50th birthday. We went on Monday. Beautifully presented, a variety of stunning little cakes, a full size scone, prosecco and a pot of coffee and dainty sandwiches. We sat in the window watching the sea. Staff were lovely and friendly. A really nice treat.

My friend and I had afternoon tea at the Llandudno Bay Hotel yesterday, upon arriving at the hotel we felt welcomed. We were seated and offered prosecco and tea/coffee and asked if we had any dietary requirements. I told the waitress that I really despised mayonnaise, she said it was no problem at all and she would advise the chef. The tea was bought out and I was so happy to see the same selection as my friend but with no added mayo! The sandwiches were lovely and the cakes devine! We left feeling happy, full, and looking forward to book our next afternoon tea!

Mi marido y yo fuimos para una comida de San Valentín mes pasado. Era 3 campos y un cóctel de champán por 30 libras por cabeza. La comida era estupenda con una buena opción. Recibimos cocktail antes de la cena y aperitivos un sorbete Corn entre campos y postres. Lo que lo hace más de una experiencia que cada día salir a comer. La comida era deliciosa, servicio excelente y un bonito restaurante. Sin duda volveremos pronto. No puedo hablar sobre este lugar

We recently visited for a birthday celebration for a party of 20. Our first point of call was a gentleman Januz. He was very well organised. He didn't hesitate at all when we mention we had children and needed high chairs. Nothing was a problem. We gave a pre order. And considering 20 people all wanting beef all cooked differently everyone got what they asked for. Which I sometimes find it difficult to find somewhere able to cater for roast beef blue/rare. Starters where fabulous. Desserts were amazing attention to detail. All tasted as good as they looked. This definitely deserve 5* I also got a call next day off Januz to check that we had a good time and all enjoy ourselves. Nice little touch there. Amazing customer service.

Lovely restaurant all set for a beautiful meal. Food well cooked and well presented. Lots of nice extras between courses. Beef Wellington was superb and was cooked to perfection.

This has to be in the top one of restaurants in North Wales if not the North of England and North wales.The staff are professional yet very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.The food itself is outstanding both in presentation, taste and flavours and shows a genius element at work in the kitchen.I could go on and on extolling the virtues of the restuarent but really you need to try it for yourself, either afternoon tea or evening dinner you will not be dissapointed.

As a traveler I like to explore and sample food from different regions and cultures, I don’t usually dine at restaurants attached to hotels, I must however highlight my dining experience at Forster Restaurant (Llandudno Bay Hotel), and would even go as far as labeling their food as ‘’Designer Food’’ for the reasons of their presentation, creativeness and the fact that the food tastes as good as it looks!!We were very warmly received by host of the evening who was very friendly and soon seated us at a table of preference where our dining experience began, consisting of starters, mains, deserts and pallet cleansers in-between dishes For Starters I had Pigeon with New Potatoes and Blueberries (Pan seared wood pigeon with crushed new potatoes, pak choi and a blueberry jus) Pallet Cleanser: Tangerine SorbetMains - Duo of Welsh lamb tenderloin

 (Elderflower delice, saffron poached pear, smoked pear puree & pomegranate sorbet) I would certainly recommend a dinning experience at this restaurant, the prices are average, the food is really good and one is left with the feeling of total satisfaction and a dinning experience rarely experienced. I certainly would be dinning at this restaurant when I visit the region in time to come.

We had a discount voucher from a local newspaper so decided to give the restaurant a try. The decor and service was very good. We were the only people in for lunch. We all had the Christmas 4 course meal. It was well presented, however, some of the turkey slices were crisp as if they had been left under a grill also the sprouts were very hard. Apart from these issues everything was very good. Would have given 5 bubbles if it were not for the issues mentioned.

This was the second visit with friends on my reccomendation, once again everything excedded expectation. My friends were as impressed as me . I love afternoon tea and this is definately my fave

Last minute decision to eat here, I had the fish and chips, my colleague had steak. Both most enjoyable and the service was excellent. Added bonus the view over the sea front!
