Delicious food. Very well cooked and remarkable value for money. Delightful hosts. Excellent service. I strongly recommend a visit. The outdoor garden will be a big plus in the summer.

Fuimos aquí antes de ir a mostrar Empire con ganas de algo de buena comida nunca irá al conejo por comida de nuevo, si tuviéramos tiempo nos habríamos ido a otra parte. No hay mucha elección en el menú, pastel pedido, patatas fritas y salsa. Las patatas fritas eran simplemente pastel caliente no era genial no hay suficiente salsa sin duda no vale £ 12. 95 tardé mucho en despejar la mesa solo se limpió cuando pedí factura ambiente no muy bien ha pasado un tiempo desde que he estado aquí por la comida solía ser encantador pero bajado colina

Dropped in for lunch after visiting the castle. Nice menu. I had Cullen skink which is a fabulous smoky fish chowder. Caesar salads fine. Service kind and attentive. Steak sandwich flavorful but had a large piece of unchewable gristle, dropping restaurant rating for us. Still, overall a fine experience and definitely recommend.

Ate dinner in here after a long walk from Eastbourne in the day. There was a big party in the main area so we sat in the room with the bar, food was tasty, good portion and reasonably priced. The picture is the steak, ale and mushroom!

We had a jumbo battered sausage with small chips and a kiddy portion of chips came to £9.00 AND the kiddy chips was the smallest portion of chips l have ever seen.... like less than one potato worth of chips for £2.50. The chips were cooked nicely but it is so grotesquely over priced, l thought l had misheard the amount till l checked my account, still in shock. Avoid!

Tuvimos un almuerzo agradable con buena comida para celebrar el 90 cumpleaños de mi madre. Había visto lubinas en el menú, por lo que eligió ir.

He estado un par de veces recientemente. El café es de primera categoría suave y delicioso. Todos los pasteles y salazones en el gabinete refrigerado se ven deliciosos. He comido un bacon bap que estaba caliente y lleno de tocino. La sidra caliente estaba deliciosa. Vale la pena visitarlo. Mucho aparcamiento.

Although it states vegetarian friendly the choice is poor. They used to do veggie meals but I was told they was no demand for veggie meals so stopped going. You don't always want panini or prawn jacket spud!!

We used to enjoy the cheese platter for two served in the bar area. Today we found that the platter was a shadow of what it used to be. The increased price must have done wonders for their profits, but we won’t be returning.

Visitamos este restaurante que está en nuestra puerta a pasos del apartamento de mi hijo. Optamos por ofertas especiales de comidas de martes pidiendo langostas para todos nosotros ( 5 ) , al vapor o a la parrilla. Las excepcionales langostas se servían con espárragos a la parrilla, patatas fritas y patatas fritas como acompañamiento. Disfrutamos mucho saboreando la langosta con nuestras manos y herramientas adicionales! La carne de langosta era fresca, suculenta y deliciosa como habíamos disfrutado recientemente cuando en Boston, EE.UU. Me encantó todo.

Acabo de llegar esta mañana y nos gustaría haber ido a otro lugar. Le estoy dando a este 2 estrellas, ya que siempre trato de ver aspectos positivos - la ubicación y el frente de la tienda todo se ve bien y el personal era amable. Pero - pedí 2 claras planas y 4 tostadas con mantequilla y mermelada. El café era horrible y la tostada blanca más barata seca solo tenía un rascado de margarina en ella - tan poco que no sabemos si era mantequilla o no.

Cannot fault the fish and chips and to top it off Curtis was super friendly and cooked the best food!! He took time to stand and chat which gave it a personal touch!! Highly recommend here the food was amazing 😍

Visited here after hearing great things. The roast dinner was amazing. I could not fault the food. Although, the service wasn’t great. I appreciate the restaurant have to turn tables and on our reservation it was highlighted they needed the table back for a certain time. Absolutely fine. One of our party was late as we live around 45 minutes away and due to traffic. We were reminded upon arrival and then several times through out the meal. We asked for the bill. It didn’t come, then another server came over with the bill and said as they needed the table back they had taken it upon themselves to give us the bill. But we had asked for it. We had a new server who was being trained by another member of staff, they were both lovely and we were pleased with their service.

Este es mi lugar favorito en Wimbledon por venir. Me encanta lo acogedor e íntimo que es. Vengo de camino a casa del trabajo y me encanta el servicio amable y cálida bienvenida. Aunque normalmente no como aquí debo decir que los platos de comida que salen se ven increíbles. También me encanta que cuando el fútbol está encendido este es el lugar perfecto para venir a evitarlo! Nick y el equipo siguen haciendo el buen trabajo!
