Although it states vegetarian friendly the choice is poor. They used to do veggie meals but I was told they was no demand for veggie meals so stopped going. You don't always want panini or prawn jacket spud!!

My girlfriend visited for a midweek breakfast. It wasn’t the first time we’ve been and previously it was spot on.I had the big breakfast and the sausages, bacon, beans, toast and hash brown were spot on as was the coffee. This was let down by eggs that were very overdone making them rubbery and the yolks hard. Someone had clearly taken their eye off the pan for a minute. The mushroom was also slightly overdone and was almost crispy to the edge. Such a shame as it’s a good farm shop and great ingredients. The fact that they’ve looked at the obviously overdone eggs and chose to serve them rather than do fresh ones properly added to the disappointment. This won’t put us off and we’re sure to visit again, hopefully with those little extras putting my review score back to 5 where it was last time.

First visit to this lovely little cafe but won't be my last . A little 'agricultural' in some respects (polished concrete floor, bistro tables and chairs) but the coffee and cake was amazing! Food was beautiful, local, fresh, well presented and served by helpful and friendly staff. Although a little off the beaten track for me, it is a convenient meeting place between Spalding, Boston, Gosberton, Pinchbeck etc and there is plenty if free parking. Well worth a visit!

I went to the Farm shop cafe for a spot of lunch with my partner. The cafe i found lacking in atmosphere but was clean and the service was quite good. However the food was really disappointing! I ordered a jacket potato with cheese. On arrival the waitress said dont touch your plate its hot, now, i like a hot plate but this was ridiculously hot! In fact if i left my hand on it more than a second i would of had a burn! I looked at my food and wondered what it was as all i could see was a huge ball of rocket. Underneath i found a potato covered in melted cheese. I have never ever had a jkt potato with cheese like this and never will again! I didnt enjoy it at all and even at the end of my meal i still couldnt touch the plate! I also saw another customer given the cheese scone they had ordered and cheese had been melted on top of that they also looked unimpressed and commented to their friends they had never seen anything like it! Im all for trying new things but please this doesn't work! Far too much rocket, melted cheese awful and plate dangerously hot. Im afraid i will not be returning.

My good friend and I went to Manna yesterday. They were shortly closing and greeted us with "coffee only, no food". There was no welcoming smile or hello, no thank you when we paid for our coffee & take-out cake. The staff glared at us the whole time we tried to drink our coffee. We left. We had intended to purchase some gifts but ended up with a bag of sweets. Manager/Owner was SO rude when I commented on the behaviour of his staff. "Well, what did you want?" he asked so I replied "Hello, Thanks, Goodbye" - no comment. Don't go if you don't like bad manners and rude staff.

If you’re looking for a simple lunch and are fed up with overpriced poor quality food, this is the place for you. The panini selection is excellent and the flavours are superb. The presentation of the food, the attentive staff and reasonable prices make this a great place to meet and eat. I can recommend the ham and Lincolnshire poacher panini, as the marmalade relish caramelised and gives a tasty crisp texture to this. Several tables were reserved, so it must be popular, book for large numbers if you want a table.

Sunday lunch, very poor food and not helped by the sight of the "Chef" through the kitchen door looking very scruffily dressed and unhygienic. Owner/manager looking very unprofessional for a restaurant. Luckily no one bothered to ask us how our meal or experience was, I guess they weren't interested in the views of their customers.

My husband wanted to try the full English breakfast & myself sausage sandwich. When it arrived half of my plate had Rocket salad on it with about one & half sausage in between the bread. The full English breakfast wasn't presented very nice & the baked beans were all over the greasy food. I had a banana milkshake which tasted more like milk. There was some bloke walking in & out of the kitchen which he looked like he was ready to go to a football match. The young ladies were very nice & pleasant.

The proprietors and staff were very understanding of the circumstances and provided an excellent venue and service. Everyone commented favourably on the standard of the buffet. Mum treated me to lunch here today - we have been before and the food has always been good. There are a few foods I cannot eat so opted for Jacket and chilli. I don't enjoy superhot food so checked with the waitress how hot the chilli was first - it was described as 'it has a bit of a kick'. The chilli came laden with not quite cooked hot chillies in large lumps complete with seeds, and then more seeds mixed in on top of that (After spending 8 years as a chef I have NEVER seen seeds dumped in a chilli like that). Felt more like a T Rex was kicking me in the face. Not funny, lips were numb and did not finish it. I also get the impression that the chilli hotness depends on how the chef is feeling on a particular day, and serving something that hot without perhaps a proper guide or description is a dangerous culinary game to play. I do not like complaining when others are treating, but my mum did and was referred to the Manager. His reply - no one else had complained. Oh well, thats ok then. In general people do not complain and for all I knew - no one had purchased the chilli that day. No apology and basically a blow off attitude. Incidentally it also surprised me that the waitresses are all very smart in uniform but the Manager was dressed like a football slob - not very professional and customer service an all time low. Would not go back and will no longer recommend, in fact will positively put people off.

Yes the food is nice here and I have been numerous times. However, I was recently unhappy with the service and commented to management. Rather than apologising or offering any sort of understanding, I received an argument about how I was in the wrong and since their opinion is that I had had value for money, what more could I want. Also that they would not be doing anything about it. Needless to say this has put me off visiting in future! Looking at any of the lower reviews on here and then the comments left by the management further illustrates their attitude. I would rather go somewhere that values and listens to their customers.

I have been meeting a friend here for lunch for the past few years. On our last visit as we got out of the car all you could smell was old fat/oil. Normally we have trouble trying to make up our mind what to eat so good is the daily menu. On this visit the menu was not good we could not find anything that appealed at this point we should have just had coffee and left but no we foolishly decided to both have ham egg & chips. I must say the ham was lovely the eggs swam in fat we both used our napkins to take up the fat, the chips were something else they were pre cooked and heated in the microwave quite the most horrid we have ever had. My friend could not eat them I had a few as I had not eaten in anticipation of a good lunch!!!!! They must have a new chef I cannot believe how different it is.My friend made a comment to the waitress about the chips being horrid she was not interested. A few weeks before this I took my husband for lunch for the first time as he is used to me and my friend singing its praises. We had braised beef and braised liver and I am being generous by saying we had to plates of slop, I thought it was just an off day so returned with my friend NOT A GOOD move.

The restaurant was busy but not full, the bi fold doors were open giving some fresh air. We were pleased with the menu choices and the nice smile on the waitress face. However we were disturbed by the very loud noise that came from a grinding machine of some sort, when we asked the waitress what it was we were told it was not possible to put the machine away from the dining area. Sorry but our conversations were drowned out several times during our meal, like being next to a cement mixer. There must be silent machines on the market.

This farm shop with its animals and good selection of produce, gifts and plants is an attractive offer for a trip out. The cafe and small garden are well appointed and pleasant and while we did t have any on this occasion the cakes looked delicious! My 85 year old mother and I though opted for Sunday lunch. We noted that there were children's portions on the menu and so we asked for one as my mother like many older people has a small appetite. Having requested this we were then bought a specials menu and to be honest the waitres was cagey about the children's portion. So we weren't surprised when my mother had a huge meal put in front of her or when we were charged full price for the meal. When I mentioned this quietly to the waitress at the point of paying not wishing to create a scene or upset my mum who wanted to pay for a little treat for us, I was told that children's portions were only available for children and she would have been quite happy to have an arguement with me about it. We did take a doggy bag home as she pointed out but we didn't come to have a meal for the cat as well! I mentioned this again when purchasing some items from the shop and there the assistant seemed to think we should have been able to purchase a children's portion. For clarity I think the menu should make clear what the policy is so customers can make a decision about whether to eat there or not. Also the waiting staff should be briefed accordingly.,

Even the shortbread was very brown and clearly tasted burnt. The young staff were very pleasant indeed but when we said how poor the scone was - and we didn't even eat half of it, the response was simply "oh I'll report that".No apology and no offer of something else or removal of the scone from the bill. Nice to see the farm shop does afternoon tea, went there on 11th November with my wife at about 2.30. We ordered one sweet and one savoury afternoon tea. The savoury was £1 more expensive than the sweet for this you lost the cream scone and jam and received a cheese scone with cream cheese and chives, you also lost the large cup cake and received two very small pieces of sausage roll. I could not see why these two variations had a £1 difference in price. Was told if I had just changed over the scone type they would be no additional charge.

I took my friend Hazel here for lunch today. She has been in the shop a long time ago, but never knew the coffee shop was there, she was pleased with the layout of the shop & restaurant, as she is disabled, was able to get around with her walker. We had a lovely lunch without our husbands & Hazel wants to do it again

I won Afternoon Tea for 2 on their Facebook page, and I chose egg sandwiches and my daughter chose ham. Lovely fresh bread with generous fillings. Huge scone each with jam and cream and a fairy cake, plus tea for me and a hot chocolate for her. Doesn't sound a lot but it was plenty. Had to bring some home! Well worth a visit. Extensive lunch menu, great farm shop, good produce, a selection of cakes, meats and gifts. Outside there are some pygmy goats to look at. Plenty of parking and I understand that Sunday Lunch is very good. Booking advisable

Visited here for a spot of lunch on a Monday. I did thoroughly enjoy the food, I had the goats cheese and med veg panini and my friend had chicken and mozzarella. Coleslaw is always great as is the salad dressing! The aesthetics of the building are slightly industrial but it works. The cakes also looked lovely but was far too full to enjoy one, although my greedy self could have managed I'm sure! I just think this place is great to visit as you don't have to venture into town and there is onsite parking. And of course, perfect to pick up any essentials from the adjourning farm shop!

We really love it here. They do breakfast, lunches and afternoon tea and cheese scones to die for. Farm shop is great too especially like their Mountains of Boston dry cured smoked bacon. Best we have ever had.

We have been several times this month, we really like the small cafe, they have great coffee and excellent freshly made food, with deserts that are real guilty pleasures. To top of the great food you also have some pigs, goats, and a few other animals you can feed and pet after you are done feeding yourself.

Many visits for lunch and coffee have shown a consistent quality and service. The menu is straightforward and good and the meals excellent. Good coffee and great selection of cakes and pastries make this a good venue, with its attached farm shop a bonus. Plenty of parking.

Having stopped here before a few times for lunch, I took the family for mid-journey tea and cakes on our way to Butlins last week. I emailed before the trip to ask about having soya milk for my partner, and they were more than happy to get some in specially for us and even gave us the rest of the carton to take with us :)

The food at Manna is locally sourced and cooked fresh which all makes for a lovely hot and tasty breakfast, its quite a large serving so make sure your hungry, lots of toast to go with it, will definitely be going again!

Probably the worst coffee (tasteless) and scones (old and reheated) in the Boston area. Would not go there again. AVOID.

Dropped in for a quick coffee with a friend. Lots of tables reserved for lunch, even at 10:30! Had the one unreserved tabled cleaned for us by the nice waitress. Coffee was fine, and comes with a little shortbread biscuit. My friend also had a huge scone, with came with a large amount of jam and cream. Did look a bit 'well done' though. Overall, quite pleasant.

Lovely cafe with a nice adjoining farm shop which is worth a browse. Lovely selection of food in a nice atmosphere, all home made. I enjoyed the goats cheese and Mediterranean vegetable panini. I did see the Sunday roasts being served and the portions looked massive! Definitely worth a visit!

What a hidden gem !!! Never been here before but my son and I went along for lunch and had a fantastic meal . Attentive staff and the waitress that served us paid my son a compliment about his manners which made my day proud dad moment . I had the mega breakfast and it was cooked to perfection with lovely fluffy poached eggs and decent beans (not cheap catering beans ) spot on blank pudding sausage and bacon and crispy hash browns , no grease on the plate to be found , I was really impressed

Nice looking place but service is awful, staff miserable. Waited 20 mins to be served, place not busy, in the end I had to go approach them. Expensive cake was dry and bland, won’t be going back.

Excellent roast dinner. Really good quality and plenty of it. Great service and really lovely warm and inviting atmosphere. They also accept dogs. It was great to find somewhere so good where we can bring our little dog too. Will definitely return.

We've been here a couple of times before and it's been great, however our latest visit was not a great experience. Portions were small, presentation wasn't anything special, looked like meals I could of in nocked up myself as a quick tea at home, nothing special at all, certainly didn't look like a restaurant dining experience. Also, never come across a restaurant that stipulates on the menu if you want steak they need 48 hours notice! And even if they do, they should tell people when they book in as we had 2 of our party very disappointed on the night. The whole dining experience was also ruined by a group of loud, drunk locals sitting in the dining area and talking and swearing at the top of their voices so we couldn't even hear ourselves having a conversation. If people have paid for a dining experience no matter how bad that was, they should not have to put up with a table full of loud, swearing locals who were just there for the drink, keep the two things separate! Really dark and dingy in the restaurant, we struggled to read the menu due to how badly lit it was. The waitress started the evening by telling us what wasn't available off the menu, which in itself seemed odd at the beginning of the weekend to of already run out of so much. Needless to say this one bad experience overshadows previous good ones, it looks like the place has gone down hill, we won't be back! Must say though this is by no means a reflection of the staff they were lovely, it's on the owners!
