Another fabulous carvery. Mothers day and the price is the same no inflated prices here. Highly recommend. Meats and veg all cooked to peefection and plenty of it.

We needed a snack and a break on a 5 hour journey from Norfolk to Cheshire. Externally it's an unusual building, but the cafe itself is well laid out, and has interesting decor. We were given a lovely welcome, and chose from an interesting menu. I enjoyed the Special which was a large hunk of baguette with fried eggs, sausages and bacon. There was plenty of it and it was tasty, and very reasonably priced. Our coffees were a bit disappointing by comparison, but overall we were pleased to have stopped there.

We went to Spalding on this lovely sunny morning to the market. The wonderful and very special Carillon was playing, ringing out across the market place and we popped into the Café on the Square inside the South Holland Centre for a coffee and a late breakfast. Well, nearly lunch! (Breakfast is served until 12 noon). We both had a breakfast brioche. Lincolnshire sausage patty layered with bacon and topped with a fried egg in a large and very delicious brioche bun. Probably not the sort of breakfast for every day (!) but super tasty for a treat - the food was lovely, the staff were so pleasant and helpful and the coffee was very good too. Thank you Courtney and Mike and Bailey. And it was very reasonably priced. You can sit in this 1st floor café and look out over the market place and people watch to your hearts content. Go on - treat yourself to good food, great coffee and a nice relaxing time in The Café on the Square.

We ordered the £7.50 per head option for some customers we had visiting. It was the first time we have used Munch box for this service and it was outstanding. We order breakfast from the Munch box quite regularly so it was no surprise that the lunch option was brilliant. Highly recommend to visit if you want fresh, tasty, homemade food. Wow, our first holiday in norfolk, this was halfway, I'm so glad it was. Googled a rest stop before we left and the reviews were spot on, what a find, the best burgers we've ever had. Black and blue for me and simply smokey for my amazing wife. You really made our journey a treat. Hope we come this way again. Thank you

Visited for a family Sunday lunch and was really impressed. Excellent service, great food, and plenty of it. Beef or Turkey with a good choice of veg, and if you like desserts you’re going to love it here. Good bar as well, good everything, and great people to sit and chat with. For the same price as a local carvery, brought to the table with a smile, you’ll go a long way to beat it, well done.

This place is tripple thread, good food, good drinks & most of all good service. The staff are great make it a good atmosphere, a good night had by all.

Amazed at the owners of this shop they gave out free food to homeless people over Xmas I was amazed to see this happen if there were more people with hearts like there's the world would be a better place

by far the best traditional pub in Spalding. Great range on the bar and the prices a re really good including 2 moretti for £7 on Fridays 4 til 7 Loads going on think I counted 3 darts boards and looks like entertainment at the weekend ill be back

Always a pleasure to pop in for a pint and a natter with landlord and landlady - always down to earth with a dry sense of humour. Great effort always made a key dates, I.e, St Patrick’s day and St George’s Day as well as Easter and Christmas.
