We 1st visited Tonic 44 as we were looking for a venue for our relatives' funeral. The cafe/community hub is very spacious, easy access for wheelchairs, those who have mobility issues, and Able-bodied. The entrance is down a path at the side of the building. Just beyond the cafe/community centre is a spacious garden well kept with flowers and shrubs. The lawn is AstroTurf, which is practical and easy for anyone in a wheelchair or mobility aid. The cafe/community centre is fitted out with sturdy tables and chairs, and there are cushions that can be provided by the staff if required. The food is delicious (I can recommend the sausage and egg bap) all dietary requirements can be catered for, there are vegan alternatives if necessary, and quite a delicious range of cakes. The building is well equipped with space, chairs, tables, and facilities, which includes a disabled toilet. There are a variety of games for both adults and children. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome. The venue can cater for about 70 people. We booked for our wake, there was plenty of food, a fantastic aray of different dishes to suit everyone, there were sandwiches, sausage rolls, pork pies, salads, pickles and all sorts of cakes. The food was delicious, well arranged, and sizeable portions and catered to every dietary requirement. Tonic 44 community hub is well run, people are friendly and very helpful, Theresa is an amazing cook, and provides fantastic food. The atmosphere and ambience are one of easygoing, friendliness, compassion, and professionalism. Would definitely recommend Tonic 44 community hub to everyone.

Very friendly cafe, dog friendly as well. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Milkshakes are fabulous 😋. Excellent place for single people who want company, couples and families.

This is a terrific cafe, good range of hot and cold foods, Stokes coffee is served. It has a garden space looking over fields. Dogs are most welcome inside. Try the milkshakes they are really good. So if you want an English Breakfast or a toasted tea-cake, this is the place. Entry to the cafe is down the side of the building. It has toilets open to the public and sits adjacent to an entry to Glen Park.

Had a breakfast there today for my birthday, it's the first time we have eaten there but had heard good reviews so thought we would give it a try. We have had breakfast at lots of local establishments and I have to say we both said it's the best we have eaten for a long while the food was cooked fresh so perfectly hot and the quality of the meat products were outstanding we orded tea and got a full pot which gave us both 2 mugs each, I would highly recommend and will definately be back maybe to try something else from the menu 👍

Excellent, couldn’t have been more accommodating, even with dietary restrictions. Was happy to preorder and have something lovely and gluten/milk free.

10 of us sat down for a meal, starters and mains had been pre-ordered. This is a group who meet once a month at different venues. The food was presented well on hot plates and was served within a reasonable time. Prices are mid range but the food is prepared and cooked fresh so well worth waiting for and paying a little extra. A lovely evening enjoyed by everyone.
