CJ's Diner in South Holland

Passed this place quite a few times, but today we decided to go for breakfast. Absolutely delicious, all freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. All orders cooked at the same time so every thing was nice and hot when served. Will definitely be returning.

What a hidden gem this place is! I had the breakfast and it was all fresh and very hot, like having a cooked breakfast at home. Top quality food with great service and a quirky atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back next time I'm up this way.

Best cooked breakfast in Spalding. Baked beans were particularly good today. Sausages are excellent, eggs perfectly done and a nice cuppa

I thought the coffee was first class and the English breakfast a close second. Well recommend if visiting Spalding. I only wish I had seen it earlier in my short stay in the town.

We walked in, and it was so busy and loud. We went to the back area to eat, and it was very cold, we couldn't help noticing the uncleanness of the table, including the placemats. I was brought a coffee which I was surprised at, it was lovely and the cup was clean! We waited a further 30 minutes, which we was getting impatient but understood because it was busy, probably busier than usual with it being a Tuesday! Our food finally arrived, served by I'm presuming the owner, he was friendly and I couldn't fault his attitude. I got breakfast - sausage,egg,bacon,hash browns, x2 beans, and toast, which came with butter in a jar, cute and different. (There was an option for tomatoes and mushrooms, but I had them removed) Everything about that food was right. It was by far the best breakfast I have ever ever eaten! I have only knocked off a star because the cleanliness let them down, I hope the owner reads this and steps up his cleaning routine because I would absolutely love to go again. But grease, dust, and grime can be off-putting no matter how good the breakfast is.

It was my 1st time going there. Minut I walked in .couple behind the tell gave me big smile and warm welcome. 💯 I will go there again and again.

My Dad’s favourite breakfast anywhere local and he’s not wrong, fresh quality ingredients cooked perfectly at reasonable prices and really friendly owners. It’s a treat for him every now and then, but we are going again this weekend! 😋

Can only comment on their bacon roll, as that's what I had. Can't remember having more bacon in 1 before. Not only was it plentiful, it was cooked to perfection. Decorated with 60s American diner style, but don't worry about that, if the rest of the food matches up to their bacon roll, I.expect it will be outstanding

I just went in and had the most heavenly breakfast, wiped my plate clean. And lovely couple who run it, very friendly. It's a must go for food, I will go back.

Hands down the best food in Spalding. Their english breakfast is splendid and their breakfast sandwiches are to die for. Cooked fresh to order and just perfect.

LUSH!!!!!!!! Great food by lovely people. This place is small but more seating is available upstairs and makes good coffee, tea is served with a small teapot!!!! Awesome!!! One 'tell' you notice for a good cafe - if it is full of regulars it means they are doing something right!!! Thanks very much for the breakfast, best i've had for a long time!!!!

Went here for the first time after hearing lots about the place. Small breakfast with tea or coffee £5! Just the job! Very reasonable prices and nice to support the locals of spalding will definitely be returning to try other options on the menu and take the family

I've not eaten here for a while but the Breaksfast was cooked to perfection. A cup of tea and toast completed the meal. Music good to listen to.

Went there on a recommendation from a friend and it by far the best breakfast I have ever had, value for money was brilliant and the food was to die for, everything was cooked fresh to order and the service was amazing

Really enjoyed our breakfasts here. Had a really well cooked large plate of food. Went here based on a recommendation of a friend and glad I did. The atmosphere is also more interesting than most places due to the 50s/60s decor and music. Will go again for sure.

Came across this little cafe close to Lidl and Sainsbury's in Spalding, inside it was warm and welcoming, very well laid out and furnished with lovely tables and chairs along with a comfortable sofa if you want to relax and read the morning paper. Staff very polite and welcoming and kitchen very clean and tidy. A great menu for a small cafe. My huge sausage bap was wonderful and went down well with my mug of tea, just what I needed before going next door to get my new tattoo Warm, homely, welcoming, clean and great food. Worth the extra little walk from town

A great American-style diner - fantastic value menu that ranges from burgers and baguettes to fried breakfasts or fish and chips. They brew a nice cuppa too. Charming classic Hollywood decor and usually a 50s 60s soundtrack playing in the background. Highly recommended
