The Hawks Restaurant & Bar in South Holland

Visited for a family Sunday lunch and was really impressed. Excellent service, great food, and plenty of it. Beef or Turkey with a good choice of veg, and if you like desserts you’re going to love it here. Good bar as well, good everything, and great people to sit and chat with. For the same price as a local carvery, brought to the table with a smile, you’ll go a long way to beat it, well done.

While in Sutton Bridge, I had read on Trip advisor, that you could dine here without being a member of the golfclub. Quite a small menu, however the quality was amazing, atmosphere very relaxed. The lady was wonderful to chat to. When in area next, will return.

My friend and I found out that Hawks Restaurant & Bar allowed none members who are not playing golf to eat & drink there so we went along to try it. Wow, we had an awesome experience. The place had friendly people, helpful staff and very tasty food at reasonable prices. Also as we two ladies had choosen the same day that a bunch of lady golfers were having lunch they joyfully introduced themselves to us and invited us to have a go at one of the try before you buy golfing experiences, whuch we are definiteky considering. We are already planning not only going back together again but taking other friends and family with us. The owners of the bar restaurant were a pleasure to meet. I believe if you try them you will be back for more... Definitely recommended
