Prezzo - Spalding in South Holland

There are no napkins at all on the salt. The coffee is not very high quality. But for the village it will do.

We turned up just after 8 and asked for a table for a large group. We didn't prebook as it was midweek and last minute. The attitude from the staff was shocking. The manager took our order and reminded us the kitchen shut at 9. She rushed through our order and guess what... she got things wrong. Food was actually nice, which was a shame.

Came for a family meal Mon 4/11 the staff were accommodating of every question we had, The menu was quite overwhelming but what we all picked was terrific. And got 25% online which always tops it off. Recommend the Spalding Branch to anyone.

I used to frequent this restaurant on many occasions. The food was good. However the last 3 encounters, including a break have been consistently bad. Dry chicken and poorly prepared food, which do not match the menu description

Not a lot to say really. Chain restaurant, mediocre food very expensive drinks £4.85 for a bottle of water!! I mean come on. Shows the greed of owners of chain restaurants. The food was ample, and ok, nothing to write home about. The service was pleasant and the order was presented with a smile.

The Manager and his team, go out of the way to be so helpful and friendly. I hadn't for a few weeks and the manager new who my mum and myself were and where we had sat. Food is superb 👌

Well presented and prepared food and attentive staff. The only downside and its not the restaurants fault but the children of the patrons treat it like a McDonald's!

It's a standard Prezzo, we pre-booked over a long winded automated phone system and was seated as soon as we arrived. The menu had loads to choose from and the food was quite speedy to come out. I was a bit disappointed that my goats cheese ravioli wasn't very cheesy and was a lot more peas, but not a bad dish. The dessert was dissatisfying, for a cake called the 'best ever' it left a lot to be desired. Not a bad place for a casual dinner.

A bit pricey but everywhere is these days 😕

We had a great experience at Prezzo, we stopped after travelling 4 hours and felt very welcomed by the staff. The food was good and coffe was fab.

First time we have eaten at this particular Prezzo as new to the area however the gentleman who served us couldn’t have been more helpful and very polite.

We decided to enjoy a Sunday night dinner at our local Prezzo. The service was friendly and helpful as always. Our food was tasty and so enjoyable. We always find Spalding Prezzo just so friendly with a good atmosphere.

Saturday lunch for a birthday. Food and service was great, food fast to come and was perfectly spaced between starters and mains. Handmade soft drinks delicious. A very good dining experience.

Not bad pricing, food took a long time to arrive, sat down at 6.30, food came and 7.45.

Ignored We booked in for a dinner reservation at 9pm hoping to use the 25% discount voucher. We arrived a little early and were left waiting to be seen by the front of house. We were seen and advised they would check if our table was ready….:that’s the last we saw / heard from them. We weren’t offered menus or drinks and after waiting for about 10 mins without any update we decided to get kebab round the corner - much cheaper and efficient dinner Would really like to try the food someday.

Very bad attention. Too long to take the order. They only have ONE person to serve. An accident happened at our table (our son spilled a juice on the floor) and no one showed up to help us. The same person who greets you is a waitress, cashier and cleaning staff. It's really a shame to see how people are exploited in such an expensive restaurant. Not to mention the food 👎 The pizza was NOT pizza, it was more of a crêpe. The dough is TOO thin and lack of ingredients!!! And on the kids menu my little one's pizza tasted weird. Anyone who loves pizza didn't even want to eat it.

Food was ok, not spectacular. Chicken, cabbage and potato was very simple, so expensive for what it was. Could have been made better. Atmosphere nice.

There aren’t a lot of options in Spalding for lunch and I was recommended that this one would be fine (as my usual choice of the local Italian when in the town is closed on a Monday). The strength of this branch is by far the service. The lady there is so welcoming and friendly, she is really exceptional. The meal was ruined by the waitress placing two ladies with two toddlers next to us, as they were literally screaming as they were seated and this continued throughout our meal. I am glad people take their children out for meals, but it was inconsiderate of the restaurant to seat them when screaming right next to us when there were empty tables around both sides of the restaurant. We were trying to have an important conversation and could not talk at all. Finally the food - it was cold in parts and hot in others. Microwaved? My own home cooked version was better.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff and great service.

It was OK,small portions,and overpriced and overrated, just bareable because I was in good company. I shan't be rushing back any time soon.

Prezzos is convenient, centrally located and comfortable. The service is excellent and the food is fine. In fact, the pizzas are better than fine, they're really good. The drinks are a bit expensive and make the meal cost more than you feel it should but the overall experience is good and the staff are as cheerful and attentive as you could wish for. Never regret a Prezzos!

Lovely restaurant great food shame about the very poor service. WE booked for 5pm for a party of 10, we were their second customers but didn't get served food until 6.30pm. Chefs great and on time but food left on the pass waiting to go out even though waitresses passed several times. I believe the manageress was the lady with auburn hair,she was not setting an example to her staff, more swanning around and drinking coffee behind the bar.The only waitress who was using her own initiative and getting on with the job was a young girl called Marta, thank you to her. Prezzo need more like her if they are to continue, its sad to notice that their compatriots in Boston have closed ........i wonder why????

Great food, but service is very hit and miss, often slow to the point of the (very nice) food being cold.

The food is nice but expensive for what it is and it was very noisy in there, although that is not the fault of Prezzo, just noisy people who have to make themselves heard above others.

Was a lovely relaxing atmosphere, service was good not rushed, my food was so tasty and well presented.

We enjoyed a delicious meal with great service. It is a bit on the pricey side, but we enjoyed our meal.

It's a shame. We were lured in with the prospect of either a free prosecco or 2 desserts for my birthday. But if you go for this option, you can not use Tesco vouchers. The prices have gone right up, and to be honest, value isn't there, and service was a bit up its own. Shame, but from now on, we will stick to independent businesses that offer great value and great service.

A regular haunt of ours, excellent service, food and ambience. It has recently had a refurbishment so is all very fresh.

Popped in for lunch with my two noisy and restless kids and had a lovely meal and experience. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. As our waitress was busy with other tables her colleague came over to take our order so we didn’t have to wait which was a lovely show of teamwork. Food was prompt and prepared to a high standard and we were made to feel very welcome. A great place to eat. The staff are always brilliant and welcoming of family’s with children. I highly recommend Prezzo Spalding. Thank you.

Once a year reunion with friends, what can I say apart from Good food , good service , and a excellent manager who allowed us to sit and reminisce even though we had finished our meals here's to our next meet up there in 2024 ,so thanks again for your customer relationship skills till next year .

I cannot thank Magdalena and staff enough for their hospitality and understanding tonight. My wife has Alzheimer's, and is not always the easiest person to communicate with. However, Magdalena and Paula went above and beyond to make us both feel very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and even served a half portion of a dish to accommodate my wife's appetite. It was spot on interms of portion size and I had the same dish, full-sized; Spaghetti Carbonara with Chicken al forno! It was extremely delicious and I would definitely be visiting Prezzo of Spalding soon and hopefully repeat the experience.

Might be worth to know that it’s actually not 2 for 1 on summer cocktails if you have any other deal. I’ll be telling you this because they definitely won’t. What a nice waitress until we queried the bill to be told with a cold dead stare that it wasn’t possible. Very disappointing experience.

We went for a family birthday slow service on drinks we had too ask for the drinks which sat waiting on the bar for a while for a staff member to bring them over and some were forgotten.Food was good although again the staff didn’t seemed to know what they were doing.They never came and asked if the the meals were ok and we had to ask for more drinks.Had to ask for cutlery for starter they should known what cutlery is need for each course.we felt that they should be more organised.Than when it came to the bill they didn’t take cash which caused embarrassment to some family members.

My wife and I had a lovely meal here. The server was very nice and attentive the food was excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit. We were back today and the same as last time. Food is delicious.

I came here for lunch with my son the other day and paid a staggering amount for it. I had a salad, cranberry juice and bruschetta, whereas my seven year old ordered off the kids menu. It was £35 which was eye watering. Especially as my son's pizza was sadly mediocre and I did not enjoy my main. The bruschetta was divine, my favourite, but the salad was disappointing. I ordered caesar dressing instead of honey and mustard because I don't like mustard, and the dressing was absolutely full of mustard. It was overwhelming. Very disappointing that I wasn't told they'd changed the caesar dressing recipe at some point or that it was full of mustard when I remarked I don't like mustard. I ate it because I don't like food waste but did not enjoy it at all. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite, the toilets were sparkling and the atmosphere was lovely and calm. I'm just disappointed by the meal itself.

We had a very good dinner here. Well prepared, plentiful and served by friendly attentive staff. The Arancini, and chicken Marsala were excellent , better than expected. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday evening so a popular choice for locals in a town with limited options.

I will write it in Dutch because i am from the Netherlands. Het eten is er fantastisch en zo lekker echt hier moet je gewoon gegeten hebben en dat doe ik weer zodra ik in de buurt van Spalding ben. Goed en zeer vriendelijk mensen en de service staat hier hoog in het vaandel top!!!

Lovely family meal. Good choice for the vegetarian and vegan in our group.

As long as you use a discount card the whole experience is good value otherwise it's expensive for slightly better than some of the microwave based pubs

Came here today for lunch - had the rusticana pasta dish, goat's cheese pizza and the dolce e picante pizza. Very friendly waitresses, delicious food, clean restaurant and short wait times.

This is a pleasant enough place for a bite to eat. It specialises in pizza and pasta meals. It has recently been renovated after suffering from a major water leak but it is only marginally better than before. I went for a meal with my wife on a weekday lunchtime and we were the first in the restaurant after opening. Although the restaurant has plenty of space every other customer that came in after us were placed in tables right around us which I felt was rather unnecessary. I also felt it was unnecessary that the staff all spoke to each other in a foreign language. It is rather off-putting that they don't want customers to know what they are saying. That concerns me somewhat. The food was perfectly pleasant. The cost of items on the menu was comparable with similar establishments. There was no pushing by the staff for you to choose extra items so that was pleasing. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would be happy to recommend it to others.

Prezzo, Spalding, is OK. Food is a bit expensive for what you get. The service was ok but had to ask for bill twice. I would visit again. We used Some vouchers up, so got a good deal. Only tend to go Prezzo when we are using Vouchers like clubcard.

Great place to watch the locals landing their catches. Best time between 10am & 11am.

Myself and my Fiancé came here last night for my birthday and the food was just amazing! Absolutely delicious and the service was really good, staff were very friendly. We have been a couple times now to this Prezzo as it's our local and will definitely be coming back more!

A very lively and enjoyable atmosphere ,and of our four starters the arancini, mozzarella and calamari were great albeit it must have been a pretty huge squid to account for the size of the calamari portions. However the king prawns and gnocchi was a bit of a disaster-very watery "sauce", creamy it was not; "king" prawns not much different to the ordinary variety and the gnocchi were hard, compressed potato -very unappealing. The wait staff did not seem interested in my comments about this.

Always like going there, & you get vouchers most of the time, which helps. Nice stuff always frienly, will be going again very soon. Keep it up Prezzo

Have been before and always find food and service to be very good. I was just a little upset to see a waitress putting wine glasses on tables but not using stems but her hands/fingers all over the rims .

Amazing food, amazing staff, lovely interior design! Lovely menu with a lot if choice and different dietary requirements. Came in a large group and the staff couldn't have been anymore accommodating! Definitely worth a visit!

We visited with our parents for a bite to eat, right away the staff were friendly and cheerful. Once seated, we had the lovely Libby taking care of us. She was so good looking after us and asked all the right questions when we ordered to ensure we made the most of our visit. In general our experience was lovely, I noticed passing staff stopping by our table to take away plates that were finished with and top up any drinks. The food was lovely, I had the Chicken Carbonara Al Forno.... Worth it for that melted crispy cheese experience. Thanks for a great first visit.

The food, the drink, the service is always very good. We keep going back. However that is because we cash in some our Tesco Clubcard vouchers to spend there. I would consider it very expensive if we didn't use the vouchers.
