Absolutely fantastic - you walk into a busy but very welcoming atmosphere. Superb staff - they treat you as if you are their number 1 table. Food is amazing - great choice and superb. I never leave a review for anything or anyone but I cannot let Amici go without top marks 🌟

The quality of food at Amici is excellent and difficult to fault. Steaks cooked to perfection with quite delicious sauces. We live locally and eat frequently at Amici. We had a meal last evening which can only be described as outstanding. If one were to find fault it is quite small, tables are therefore quite closely laid out and a quiet evening out is not always guaranteed !!! Our first choice locally .

Just returned from another fantastic meal at Amichi .Luckily for us we are local so can pop in whenever we want a delicious meal with wonderful,helpful,attentive staff.

Well worth the visit. I took star of because of tiramisu - it seems that it worsened slightly. Its too sweet, and cream is not fluffy as it used to be and as should be. It was beautiful earlier. However, everything else is perfect and we will be back soon

Lovely Italian restaurant where the service matches the food. Young people serving but well trained and efficient, the food was excellent too. A little bit rowdy at times due to a couple of parties in, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless - recommended!

Wish we’d discovered this before. Best meal in Spalding in ten years. Mum from Quadring didn’t even know about it. Visiting Mum from Surrey and we wanted to take her for a nice meal out before leaving her. What a find! Every course was delicious and our 9 year old loved every part of her children’s menu, halloumi fries, spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce and chocolate gelato. My mum was overjoyed with her pork belly main. Very attentive and nice staff. It was a Wednesday and every table was full. We thought going at 630 it would be pretty quiet. How wrong we were ! Loved it and we will def return. Just wish we had found it sooner! Gracie Amici

I can’t remember how many years we have been coming here, for anniversaries, birthdays, and staycation meals and the like… they have never let us down. We drive from Peterborough and it is worth it every single time. I always book online since Covid and find that really reliable. Last night was no different, fantastic tasty food, well presented and really good portion sizes. Quite often we don’t have room for dessert, but when we do they are lovely too. We are pescatarian and get plenty of seafood choice here, and I appreciate the vegetarian menu. Had calamari, a mushroom dish and the gamberoni last night, just fab. As designated driver I like the elderflower sherbert.

We visited recently for a family meal (6 people), and as always we had a wonderful experience at Amici. The restaurant was busy which added to the atmosphere, however despite being busy the service remained excellent, with attentive and friendly waiting staff making sure orders were taken quickly and we had drinks throughout the evening. The food, well what can I say, every time we visit I think it can’t get better, yet it does! I opted for King prawns for starter which were beautiful and so fresh, followed by lasagne which was possibly the best I’ve ever had…just divine! I finished my meal with the choux pastry balls which never fail to impress me. All 6 of us had truly amazing food! I love that Ivan (chef) comes to speak with customers after his cooking is finished for the evening, a true people person! Ivan, Yvonne and their team should be very proud of themselves. We will be back soon! 😍

Popped over to have a meal tonight at the restaurant, it was still open and the waitress directed me at my table, but whilst I was seating down, another woman in her mid-20's came from nowhere and abandoned said in broken english..'sorry, sorry kitcheb is closed...' what a cowboy behaviour one ponders...i mean...I owed and run a few restaurants before I retired and I never remember disappointing anyone who me or my staff invited them to take a seat...🤬..awful!

Have been here a number of times and the food is good. This time we thought we’d try the tiramisu for dessert and what a let down. It’s clearly from frozen. The sponge was watery and couldn’t taste any alcohol only water. I’ve only ever eaten freshly prepared tiramisu so could really notice the difference. The rest of the meal was lovely, although bread with your starters would be a nice touch just like they do in Italy.

Very good food, good service, and was busy midweek which is a good sign! Enjoyed eating here, relaxed atmosphere.

Food is always excellent, freshly cooked, flavourful. Service is good, cannot fault it in any way. I am vegan, husband is meat eater. Suits us both, and this is what brings us back. Not many independent restaurants offer such good choice for different dietary needs. Even vegan dessert options! Always recommend this place and will keep coming back.

Oh dear. We read reviews & thought, 'Yes' lets eat here. My, very firm, advice would be DON'T.. Service, excellent, if a little in awe of the 'matriach'. The food ? Spectacularly uninterseting. We hoped for, according to the menu, great, tasty food. We got. .just awful, no taste, no nothing whatsoever. I think mostly frozen/ packet/ cook chill. Just awful in my opinion.

While visiting my Dad in Peterborough we went to Spalding to watch the Morris dancers and decided to eat out. We looked online and found the Amici Restaurant. The service was amazing as was the food. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Even the chef came out , visiting each tablet to see if customers were happy. The portions were plentiful and delicious and not expensive. All staff were polite. Overall a lovely dining experience.

I have eaten here many times and it is consistently good. Today was even better. A fabulous meal, a good atmosphere with excellent food and drink.

Have not been for a while due to family commitments. Always considered Amicis as one of the best Italian restaurants in the area and I believe still is. Service was helpful,prompt,polite and respectful and the food was out of this world tasty. Quantity was perfect so you don't over indulge leaving you painfully full after. The chef came round towards the end of the evening and spoke to everyone in the restaurant asking their opinion and how their evening was in the restaurant which I think is a great personal touch. All through the evening it was relaxed and we had a fantastic evening. Thank you to everyone at Amicis. See you again soon.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very polite and helpful. The Chef came out to speak to us which we thought was going the extra mile and the experience as a whole didn't disappoint. The only issue we had was the volume in the restaurant, it was a bit too loud.

I've eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world including The Dorchester London (Michelin Star), World Trade Centre (Windows of the world), The 12 apostles Cape Town and The Waldorf New York to name a few. This is a truly lovely place to go. Food was fresh and the service was kind and friendly. The Chef comes to each table for a chat which was really appreciated. Like Arnie says... I'll be back.

I had the goats cheese and Saffron prawn pasta. I had the Cosmo with elderflower which was just lovely and a glass of the house wine. The service was impeccable, all the staff lovely. Thank you for an enjoyable evening 😊

Love the food at Amici! We come from London and always look forward to dining here. The food is second to none and is of great quality! There is an incredible selection of vegan dishes and the vegan gnocchi is to die for! The service is always so lovely and Chef Ivan is such a talented chef! 5 stars to both the food and service.

The food was nice atmosphere was decent service was quite good but it took around an hour for our food to come out to be fair there was 8 of us but we saw families of 4 getting served in like 5 minutes overall pretty good

I visited Amicis yesterday with friends highly recommended going here to eat. The staff were very friendly and attentive ,great atmosphere and lots of food choice to suit everyone's palate. The food was very well presented tasted amazing and good portion size. The food was piping hot and despite the restaurant being full we didn't wait long for our main meal or dessert.

Top notch restaurant, having lived in Italy for six years this was more than comparable with 5star Italian equivalent. Service was very attentive and food quality and presentation was great, price wise we were surprised and more than happy, Went home well satisfied. Thank you all at Amici.

Fantastic all around experience - as always seems to be the case here. Arrived rather early for our reservation, but we're made to feel very welcome and totally accommodated. The restaurant was packed (in a good way!) But service never slipped - always attentive and friendly, never rushed. Food was absolutely superb - the Lobster Ravioli a real highlight especially! The desert also featured possibly the largest slice of tiramisu I've ever seen. And all, in my opinion at an incredibly reasonable price. Can't wait to be back!

I ordered the festi de carni pizza and it was one of the best pizza I have ever hand. It was cooked to perfection. Definitely one of the best Italians restaurants ever.

This place is an absolute Gem! food is fantastic authentic Italian food. Family run with a great atmosphere every night. The fact that the place is booked pretty much every night says it all . Try the Ragu or the pizza - I guarantee you will come back ! Fantastic!

Wow, what a fantastic meal. We decided to go to Amici's in Spalding for my girlfriend's birthday and it was worth the journey from Peterborough. The staff were awesome and extremely accommodating. There were quite a few of us with differing dietary requirements but the menu is excellent, there is a great choice of food and we all ate different dishes. The feedback from everyone on the table was excellent and it was great to experience authentic Italian food. One girl even said that the pizza was better than the one they had in Italy as they had just come back from her holiday. The guys who never ate at Amici before said that they wanted to book again. The bill was very reasonable when we had starters, mains and a few desserts (not to mention 3 bottles of prosecco!). It was evident that the ingredients were of high quality and it is great to see a family run restaurant make such a great effort for us in everything that they did considering how hard it must be for restaurants today. Thank you for a really great evening, excellent food of the highest quality and please thank all your staff for the super service. Hope to see you again soon.

Over £90 for two starters and mains and two drinks each is steep, and pink Barefoot wine priced at over £20 a bottle is a rip off. Cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and roast potatoes on the Pollo Funghi all just a bit weird. For a nicer Italian, get a taxi to Bourne and it’ll not cost much more than this did overall.

Pleasant restaurant and service. However, the food was low quality and tasteless. Had the butterfly chicken, with a strange combination of side vegetables. The worst part was a greasy strange coloured sauce, it was awful. We also had a Pizza, this was as far away from an authentic Italian Pizza I have ever seen. Loaded with cheese, horrible tasting pepperoni and on a base like cupboard. Will never be returning!

One of the very few authentic Italian restaurants in this part of UK. Came to Spalding on a business trip and my team ended up dining here consecutively for 3-4 days.

Took my mum to Amici for her birthday last weekend and had a fantastic meal. Service was brilliant. Only disappointment was the barolo wasn't available. Highly recommend

Me second trip to Amici and I have been desperate to get back to make sure the food really is as fabulous as I remembered. And guess what, it absolutely is!! Genuinely authentic Italian food cooked with care by a really passionate team. Went with my partner, Mum and son. We shared starters so we’re brought extra side plates and shared desserts so we’re brought extra spoons - all made so easy (and the portions are so generous that sharing makes sense). My main was from the Specials board - pasta with sausage, pancetta and broccoli rabe. Really savoury and delicious. This is going to be on the new permanent menu we were told and it should be. We also had a risotto, melanzane, and pasta with meatballs. Familiar dishes but nothing like the bland food of high street chains. We were at a corner table but were not forgotten - well looked after by attentive staff. I really love this place and highly recommend it.

First time I’ve been to Amici and I loved it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ivone is a lovely hostess and made us feel really welcomed. Food was delicious, kids loved it. It felt like being in Italy for a couple of hours. Will be definitely coming back.

Not the first time we have been, and there's a reason for that! Extremely consistent food of a very high standard, very attentive and friendly staff, and fair prices. Can't really ask for more than that. On this occasion, a very special thank you to Ivan for fitting us in at late notice, as it was a last minute request from my Son who loves it here and with whom I don't often get to go out with - we had a brilliant evening. Note to everyone though - book in advance!

It's not the biggest restaurant you will ever visit but because of this, it could well be the better restaurant... The food was amazing, and the environment was cosy, making you feel doted upon by the staff who had the perfect amount of attentiveness. If you are looking for top-quality food, great service and an awesome environment for a easy win date night, then Amici's it is!

Our group was catered for well. Food was delicious. Only criticism was pork belly was dry and slightly overcooked. The cannoli, although delicious, was very hard and difficult to eat with a spoon. One member tried to cut into it and went a piece of it flying off the table. Otherwise everything was very nice. Service was good and attentive.

Food is amazing but a bit pricey

The food was amazing, especially the pizzas they do there. Prosciutto is also lovely. The service was quick and polite, how it should be, and the place was clean, smelled nice, and looked nice. This is how restaurants should be.

A restaurant with a beautiful, warm atmosphere, very kind staff, good food.

Everything in regards to this restaurant is amazing. For starters, you can park beside it and depending on the hour you don’t need to pay for it. The menu is outstanding, it offers a wide range of options and they are happy to accommodate any personal request. Quality of the food is top notch, authentic Italian, however we’ve only been once so looking forward to try other options too. Staff was really polite and very accommodating. Now, it’s a bit more costly than the average place but only because it’s not an average quality of food, in other words, you get what you pay for, essentially.

We all had a wonderful meal and even though the restaurant was busy the attention and service that we required was really first class. I can thoroughly recommend the seafood spaghetti (sorry can’t recall the Italian !) A truly enjoyable evening with a great atmosphere, we will certainly be returning!!!!

Amici never disappoints. It’s our favourite restaurant and we always try to visit on my wife’s birthday which we did. The food service and ambiance second to none. Three courses plus extras in an hour and a half on a Saturday night and the chef coming into the dining room at the end of the service to speak to diners the final treat. Bravo to the Amici family you’ve excelled yourselves again.

My wife and I had dinner at Amici’s this evening to celebrate an anniversary. We chose Amici for the full vegan menu and we weren’t disappointed. The food was amazing, the service was top class and it was very reasonably priced. Such a pleasant surprise to find such an excellent restaurant packed full on a Saturday night. Always a pleasure to write a review for this restaurant. The food is amazing Ivan and his kitchen team are fantastic chefs. I would highly recommend the mussels to start and then the Steak which as always is cooked to perfection. The front of house team also do an amazing job and are very attentive and making sure your glasses are always full. You must make sure you book well in advance as this place is always full.

We have been eating here since it opened many years ago. The food and service was excellent as usual. The pasta dish was the best ever and the afragato is my favourite dessert. Thoroughly recommend anyone to dine here for an authentic Italian experience.

This was our first rendezvous with Amici and a very pleasant one! I had been told by a barber I normally do my hair ( he regularly travels to Italy) that Amici serves real Italian food, after having a meal I can believe him in full. Service, room, decorations, lights, atmosphere and finally staff at the Top level. I don't think there will be a single person who could complain about anything really.

First time here.Great to have parking next to restaurant.Food is great and very generous portions for starters.If I had to pick fault our nibbles arrived with starters and service a bit slow although it was busy. It's also a bit noisy due to numerous of tables in a fairly small space. Worth it though for the food.

Great dinner here with work colleagues. The service was fabulous, the staff friendly and the food delicious.

Had another excellent dinner. I had the mussels to start with tasted so fresh and the tomato sauce was perfect. I had the fillet steak for my main course it was cooked to perfection and the knife just slipped through. The other 3 people in the party said there food was equally as delicious 2 of them having the lamb chops and 1 chicken. Would highly recommend this great restaurant with fresh food and good wine and all home cooked. We thoroughly enjoy ourselves everytime we go. Remember to book early as it is very popular.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant. Such a friendly atmosphere, Ivan and the team couldn’t have been better or done any more for us. We needed some help with the menu due to one of our party having some dietary requirements and let me tell you there isn’t an Italian restaurant that caters for this as much as Amici’s! I haven’t tasted food as good as this in a long time. Highly recommend the risotto, the gluten and dairy free option was amazing. If you want authentic Italian then get yourself booked in you won’t go home hungry and you’ll need more than one visit to try everything you fancy. See you soon guys.

My wife and I found this restaurant five years ago and we’ve been coming here as often as possible ever since. We are exceedingly happy to be able to take friends and family to different me at Amici’s. The food is authentic Italian run by a husband and wife and their family. There is always a lovely atmosphere and the food and hospitality are exceptional. We have no hesitation in recommending Amici’s for small intimate dinners for two or special occasions that may be for larger numbers.

Over the past 5 years i have visited this restaurant a good amount of times with both my fiancé and members of/my family. I hadn’t visited since 2021 so my fiancé and I decided to visit for my birthday today. Perfect evening. I started with the “meaty bruschetta” it was beautiful steak with cheese and honey mustard on bruschetta bread.. possibly the best starter I have ever had. Damn. I usually always have pizza. As I did tonight. Absolutely perfect… It’s the best pizza you’ll get in a restaurant in the UK. Tonight i shared half of my partners pasta with meatballs and it was beautiful. The sauce was so thick. Portions are great, just the right amount. I have never had a bad dish, let alone meal here. Also, the owner always comes around at the end of the night to speak briefly with each table, ensuring your meal was to expectations, which is so lovely. He’s a Valentino Rossi fan, which is also a bonus, and although I didn’t get to ask him about it today, he used to have a pretty awesome motorbike 😉 lovely family run restaurant. Cant recommend enough.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a separate vegan menu with a huge section of vegan used dishes. I had the broccoli gnocchi, it was huge and baked to perfection. Even a little bowl of vegan Parmesan on the side ! The chocolate and cherry slice for desert came with both vegan ice cream and custard. I wasn’t drinking this evening, but the cocktails looked amazing coming out. The young waiter was so polite and focused. I was welcomed by a lovely lady. Wish I lived closer to this place !
