Great place to shop for food on the go. Reasonable selection of lunch sandwiches, salads, ready-to-heat meals as well as plenty of stuff to stock your fridge and pantry. Reasonable prices for the area.

We met a wonderful lady today as we enquired about availability of a particular ladies trouser size. Her name was Fahra. She did everything she could do to find our size. & she did. She was so pleasant & so hard working. Thank you so much Fahra x

This is a decent supermarket and food court. While the place is underground and not as "glamorous" as the rest of Kensington High Street, it's more than enough for a quick lunch.

Cosy venue good seating. Great Tea Coffee and cake, scones. In store facility for refreshment whilst shopping.

Londres es una de las capitales de la moda del mundo, pero muchas tiendas atienden a las chicas más jóvenes. Soy una dama en mis primeros años de los 60 y siempre puedo encontrar algo que esté de moda, a un precio razonable para mí y para mis hijas que están en sus primeros 20 años en M&S.; También dieron una tienda de comestibles y un restaurante en la planta baja, a solo cinco minutos a pie del hotel donde me hospedo.

Vimos que la cafetería en el sótano tenía una oferta de comida; un miembro del personal saliente muy amable explicó los platos disponibles y ambos decidimos comer el pollo al curry con arroz. Esto se sirve en una caja de cartón (supongo que es para que los trabajadores regresen a la oficina) y fue una porción generosa para 6 cada uno. I went today to this cafe to have lunch with a colleague. we decided what we were having and queued to order. When it was out turn, I ordered a jacket potato, and a not very nice counter staff advised they only had one. I ordered it with Chilli and paid for it. We went to the table to wait for our food - most of the tables had not been cleared, so we couldn't sit at the one we wanted next to the window, as it was full of plates. many tables around were the. After a while, the same person that took my order approached out table to let me know there was not chilli - so I had to choose another filling. I walked to the counter to see the other options, and I decided to go for tuna and mayo. I asked if they had it, and they said yes - so I went back to the table. My friend was already eating, so the third time they approached the table to tell me they didn't have tuna, she was almost done with her lunch. I walked back to the counter and looked at the menu panel, trying to decide what to eat. I decided to have fish and chips - the person I asked for this told me he was not sure if I could order because the price was higher, but they eventually agreed. Some minutes later (when my friend was done with her meal), they brought the fish to my table. I am not sure when was that fish cooked, but I guess 1972. The chips were so chewy and the taste of the fish so rancid (not to mentioned the mushy peas, which tasted of old stale oil), that I simple couldn't finish it. My friend tasted too, and she agreed: 'disgusting'. We decided to leave as I didn't have the energy or the stomach to order something else, but on my way out I mentioned it to one of the counter staff. I asked when the fish was cooked, and he said 'today'. I commented that that couldn't be true, as the fish was everything but fresh, and the reply was: i'll let my manager know. So after ordering 3 times, and leaving the place 3 quarters of an hour with an empty stomach, no one apologised or at least offered a refund for a food that I paid and didn't eat. Never coming back to this place.

Never had such bad customer service in my life. Noboby will even acknowlege your existense even if you try to greet the staff

There is much more focus on food. The lines are middle of the road and lack the famous St. Michael products. Please go back to British tradition...

Marks & Spencer en High Street Kensington tiene dos áreas para comer. El café en la planta superior que y el sótano donde uno tiene una mayor selección de alimentos. La comida en este último está bien, pero no hay nada que destacar. El servicio es impersonal y el cliente tiene la impresión de ser un número y no un ser humano. Las mesas y los asientos están bien, pero todo el lugar está muy frío, ya que se debe mantener para mantener fríos los alimentos que se venden en la tienda. Está bastante bien si no te importa la temperatura fría y el servicio sin rostro impersonal.

バスを乗り換えようと歩いていたらたまたまあったので入りました。小さなフードコートがあり、スーパーの飲み物も購入可能でした。ハンバーガーをいただこうと覗いたら大好きなファラフェルとフムスがあったのでそちらにしました。地元の人しかいない雰囲気で気楽にサクッと食事を済ませるにはいいと思います。特にひとり旅には使い勝手が良いと思います。お味も良かったです。

Go downstairs they have a massive quality selection of hot meals for £6. Chicken and chips and cole slaw for example. They have a wide range of foods and wines and recently was staying solo nearby and didn't want to eat out after a long day. Bought lunch here every day

In a hurry so tried the M&S; café in the food hall. Little choice, food was not particularly tasty, barely warm, indifferent service, crowded sitting area. I have never had such dismal food at other M&S; cafes.

I was searching for cocktail avocados in M and S Foodhall in basement ( mini and stoneless ) . I phoned them - they said they were out of stock - been out of stock for 3 days - unable to tell me when they would have them back in. Told me cocktail avocados were on sale in selected stores - but could not tell me which stores. Very unhelpful.

Went in for lunch after visiting Kensington Palace. Even though it was only 2pm they had run out of fish & chips. I ordered quiche and asked for chips. Oh, no, can't do that, no separate chips. Not a major problem but their attitude was horrendous. They were just sauntering around, not interested in helping customers. When we asked for our table to be cleared to make room for drinks we got rolled eyes. A very bad show for M & S, no wonder their profits are down! And I thought Kensington was posh!

What a lovely place to eat what a selection of food . We had a quarter of chicken feta salad and sweet potato chips all very nice and our mum had tomato and basil soup with a roll . Would definatly visit again if we were here .

We did some shopping and had a lovely coffee, nice friendly service, so that was all good.......... until we got to the toilets, so the disabled was absolutely disgusting, unusable, then in the ladies 3 of the toilets were blocked, and flush not working, so bad in fact I felt physically sick, so M&S; you really need to sort this out, as most people stopping to use cafe, will most probably need to use toilets, this was on Wednesday the 18th October about 3.00 pm and I am not exaggerating when I write this, I have never been in toilets that were that bad, and it needs to be sorted.

Aunque llamar a un hall de comida, no esperes un tribunal norteamericano. Es un mercado con muchos productos preparados, frutas y verduras de aspecto agradable. Esta es una alternativa para comer en un restaurante, si tienes acceso a un microondas o elegir una ensalada.

Mi mayor experiencia fue con la sucursal de Chiswick, pero también he visitado otras en el centro de la ciudad y en Oxford.

Marks & Spencer is well known for the quality of the clothes it sells, but it's the food at lower ground which astounds me the most. Their Food to Go section is to die for. They have now added a cafe where one can sit and eat a hot meal. Doing groceries there is quite economical if you have a small fridge in your hotel room, and if you want to eat not to expensively.

We arrived at 1 pm to have lunch. I am on elbow crutches and struggled to get to your Cafe. On arrival at counter we were told there were no rolls or sandwiches and no one offered to go to the food hall 2 floors below. Table had not been cleaned. Still it gave the many staff with not a lot to do a rest. Very shabby service and I will not return.

From someone who just bought a pair of new suits, elsewhere, I wish I would have waited until I got to London to shop here. Even better if you wear a slim fit (which I'm not), plus a very easy to understand system of shirt sizing/fabric/care in several colors and patterns - even white.That just scratches the surface. My visit in mid June seems to have coincided with big sales, because they same was happening at Selfridges right next door. That deserves its own review. M&S is much less expensive of course. But still visit this flagship store. Even better if it's really hot or raining.

Marks & Spencers Food Hall has very tasty moussaka / new offer 2 for £8 - 20 mins in the oven , cannot microwave { Last offer was better 3 for £10 } . Quality foods , many expensive for what they are. Good choice of flowers - good value and last well.

The Marks and Sparks chain is in the midst of yet another corporate restructuring, and about time. Famous for sturdy clothing at reasonable prices, it has fallen behind modern, Internet-driven marketing and the whole place now suggests old-fashioned rather than good-value. Socks and underwear won't keep it afloat.

We used to have a Marks & Spencer in The Bahamas. I walked into the store and memories came rushing back of purchasing dresses for special occasions and quality underwear. I did most of my shopping here and found the staff most helpful. Also the displays made it very easy to shop.

Lots of choices for travel food and for food when I didn't feel like eating in a restaurant. Sometimes I just feel like grabbing something to eat in my room and this was the perfect place.

Amazing breakfast butties deal, great quality and very generous helpings. Take your coat, the cafe is next to the fresh food fridges.

This branch of Marks & Spencers appears to have so much more than many other M&S stores we've been to. There is an area with tables and chairs to eat the food you purchase instore and a wider range of clothing.

The food section has a variety of healthy salad options for snacking. They also serve a tasty beef burger.

After a walk in Kensington Gardens we came across M&S and decided to go in for coffee and toasties. We were served by what can only be the world's grumpiest server. She barked at us "what do you want" and I'm surprised the saucers did not shatter at the alarming rate the spoons were clattered down onto them! We were made to feel most unwelcome by this person.However the young girl who brought our toasties to our table was very pleasant albeit a bit shy to smile at customers.I think M&S need to update the staff's customer service professionalism.

I love eating at the M&S food hall. This time though with my small piece of chicken I was served a whole tray of tomatoes and very few salad leaves. Such a shame. I couldn't possibly eat so many tomatoes. :(

As we didn't need a lunchtime meal we decided to visit the food hall to get sandwiches for lunch. Lovely choice of sandwiches and snacks, fruit and desserts, it was difficult to choose what to have because it all looked so nice. Very clean and the staff were efficient and friendly.

Great M&S. A British institution. Their food is consistently excellent and their products well made. Any person visiting the UK ought to try their products as few other stores are as archetypally British as this. Customer service is one of their specialities with no quibble refunds when things aren't quite right.

The staff are very professional and polite and helpful. I enjoyed browsing at the store. It has a nice atmosphere.

Just below Kensington High St thru a door marked Food Hall lies a great hidden treasure. Just one floor below the street entrance sits one of the best grocery stores in London. If you are looking for a rotisserie chicken, a baguette, cheese and a bottle of wine this is your place. Great place to find all of your picnic needs.

We called in after a visit to Kensington Palace for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.The queues were long and the staff behind the counter were very friendly but the service was slower than expected. The food was good .

I recommend the Ultimate burger with wedges, well cooked and seasoned, made with quality ingredients.Friendly functional staff that deliver well.

It's always nice to drop by the m&s in high Kensington. The personnel is friendly and helpful. One always finds much more than what he went for at affordable prices.

On the high street and can enter from the tube. There isn't that much selection despite the store being so large. We looked for an assistant on the floor for quote a few minutes before we could find one to assist. The ladies petite section was very small. The toilet facilities were not very nice.

Apart from its convenient location beside High Street Kensington tube station, this Marks & Spencers has everything a visitor to London would want: great shopping in every department and a fabulous food hall where you can get anything. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the merchandise superior. I think it is one of the better Marks & Spencers in London.

I always look for a Mark and Spencer when I travel to get great take-away sandwiches, fruit and salads for picnics in parks. There was one in Konya, Turkey I visited.

I was staying at the Kensington Close and came to Marks and Spencer on Kensington high street every day. Many floors (shoes, underwear, food and clothes), very clean and well organised, lots of friendly helpful staff and very neat considering the sale rails.

When we visited London we were a little apprehensive about going into the restaurants that we had not heard of before. So, while we were checking out this site we went for a cuppa and a cake in good old M&S, you can't go wrong!!

We shop here a few times a week, and it has a good food hall and deli downstairs, and a good range of clothing upstairs - also has a bureau de change on the second floor for those needing currency, and an in-store ATM as well, by the lifts.

I popped in here to have an alternative to hotel food. I found couscous, quinoa, fruit and ample other healthy salads, healthy juice blends (kale/cucumber/apple), coconut water, other snacks - and all for under 12 pounds. As a vegetarian, I find ample selection for my meals. I always search out an M&S close to where I'm staying in London and they never disappoint.

in questo supermercato del fresco trovi di tutto..non per nulla i Londinesi vivono di take a way e cibi già pronti... qua trovi di tutto già confezionato a porzioni pronto da scaldare o cucinaredalle lasagne ai pan cake addirittura sushi e lasagne...oltre a latte formaggi e pane fresco.carne già cotta da scaldare o da cucinaretutto cibo...ottimo lo consiglio
